Welcome to the guild, Janet! Yeah, we try to be as active as possible, but, like Liz said, we've slowed down a bit. But don't hesitate to start a thread of your own if you're curious about something, or drop into the chatterbox thread. I look forward to discussing stuff with you. 3nodding

Welcome, Rem!
From the looks of your profile, you sound pretty cool. I'm sure you'll fit right in here at Unashamed. biggrin We hope you'll get involved in the discussion and perhaps volunteer some questions and queries yourself! 3nodding

I'm not sure if I introduced myself awhile ago when I actually joined, or if this is the first time 0:
Anyways, my name is Sarah (=
I'm about to turn 19 in 11 days (but who's counting?).
I was raised going to the Church of God, then when my family moved, to the Nazarene church, and finally, when we moved again, to an Interdenominational church, which is largely Protestant despite the signs outside (on a side note, I don't like "denominations". i understand that for some people they hold obvious meaning).
I'm currently returning to college for my sophomore year. I'm going to be an RA, so woohoo (= Wish me luck. Also, I attend my college's on-campus ministry, which is United Methodist-based. We don't have a regular pastor, just a couple of part-timers that volunteer from local churches. They are extremely capable and their ministry at the school has helped me through a lot of questions (it's weird to find me not full of questions).
I think I've already posted in at least one topic, and I'm excited to be given the opportunity to be a member here (= It's awesome how easy it is to get in touch with a guild like this on gaia. I've been fortunate enough to find christian groups on other websites as well; they were always worth it (=

Hey Sarah, it's good to have you. Hopefully that curious little mind of yours will help stir up some good conversation around here. As we've mentioned in this thread already, we slow down a tad in the summertime, but maybe your smiling face will bring more people back. smile

Thanks! (=
Do you guys need more discussion topics or something?
I was thinking maybe instead of thinking of a topic, someone could find a related article and have people discuss the article (= that might be cool C:
