Inle found herself shell-shocked and at a loss for at least the second time that day. "Th-thank you," she replied hoarsely, turning to give the woman an uncharacteristic hug with her free arm, her other hand still holding Marli protectively. "I'll do that. I owe you, hun, you and Luc both...more than words can say. I'm sorry for putting you two out, and...and thank you." She knew she was babbling unintelligibly, and she really didn't care, at that point. She started on the path back to the village, Paur trailing behind her. "I'm sorry, for what it's--" he started to say, when he was promptly cut off by Inle's icy voice. "You shut the ******** up, and pray she comes out of this alright. I have never before hit a child I have taken care of, but you make me want to start, you little b*****d." The pair remained silent the rest of the way home, and Marli slept in the palm of Inle's hand, oblivious to it all. Marli thought she was going to die in that forest, but when all was said and done, all she left was some blood and a few feathers. All in all, it could have been worse.

Early afternoon. An observer sitting on the western beach of Cetalu might have seen a small dot on the horizon, approaching from the atoll-contained sea between the islands.
The dot on the horizon slowly grew into a large canoe with an outrigger and a small sail, heading towards the island. As it came nearer, a figure was visible - the broad-shouldered, winged silhouette of Rahujo, paddling swiftly towards the shore.
As she neared the beach, she shipped her paddle and stood up, shielding her eyes with one hand against the high sun. Balancing sure-footedly on the narrow wooden canoe, her wings spread slightly for stability, she allowed the canoe to run itself aground on the sandy beach before jumping ashore and dragging it up past the high-tide mark.
Once the canoe was securely beached, Rahujo made her way around to the rear of the craft, where a sturdy chest was lashed to two of the logs which bound the outrigger to the main body of the canoe. The ropes were dry, the sea between the islands having been calm as usual, so they untied easily, allowing Rahujo to drag the chest off the canoe and onto the beach with a soft thud.
She looked contemplatively at the chest for a moment, then bent down and grabbed it with both hands. After a pause, she jerked upwards, hefting the chest onto her knee with a grunt of effort. Another jerk and it was on her shoulder, with one arm wrapped around it for stability.
Straining slightly under the weight, and with her feet sliding on the soft sand, Rahujo trudged up the beach. It was hard going when she was on the sand, but once she reached a more rocky area she was fine. Being half-bison certainly had its advantages, such as being able to lift a few hundred pounds of assorted raw metal ingots and other supplies without too much effort.
Wiggling the chest into a more comfortable position, she straightened up and began walking towards her forge.

Sunlight flooded into a small, humble residence as a door was opened; a tiny green-goldenrod blur shooting out of it, followed by a small woman. Blinded by the sun, the woman turned away from the direction of the heavy rays for a bit, frowning a little. She blinked a little, spots forming right before her eyes. In response, she took her glasses off and rubbed them for a bit. Chata slipped through her legs and gripped her leg; locked into position, he suddenly sprung up on top of her head, ensuring a shout of surprise from the woman.
"Gah, Chata!" Keilin tried to keep her balance as the sudden pressure on top of her head threw her off. "Get dooown," she said gently.
Chata gave a half-disappointed, half-amused chirp. He jumped down instantly, looking about impatiently. Keilin started walking around aimlessly with real no intention of going anywhere specific, and Chata eagerly followed, whistling a little as they continued onwards. He wondered if he would bump into anyone like they did Kami and Keanu the other time.

Yakobi ran about her house chasing after her new little Aerandir, Taranis. "Taranis come on!" she called out as before she triped over a box landing on her face. "Owww...." she mumnbled pushing herself up into a sitting postion. "We're going to go outside now. Get some fresh air and maybe meet some new people." The girl gently rubbed her head and stood up seeing her newly merged Aerandir pad up towards her chirping. "Good so we can go now?" she asked him getting a 'cheep' in reply.
The girl bent down picking up the small yet somewhat weighty gryphon. She quickly walked over to the front door opening it up and steping outside. "This should be fun." she smiled. Her little charge was outside for the very first time. Kicking up some dust she walked down the dirt path to her house. "Where should we go Taranis?" she asked as she continued along the path, their house becoming smaller and smaller in the distance.

"So, this is what we need," Fae re-announced to Pueblo as she held a peice of wrinkled paper in one hand. She read over smudged ink of the things they needed as they walked about. Or in Pueblo's case, floated about.
Pueblo stayed close to the paint brush in her mother's other hand as she looked around. She knew what half of those items were already, but as the wind kept passing by, or passing through her, her little ghostly figure quivered in delight. It was such an odd feeling, if feeling was even the word. She couldn't understand it.
As they trode along, Fae made out what seemed to be Keilin. Ah, she recalled when she had last met her. Smiling broadly, and rather hopeful, she walked briskily over as Pueblo tried to keep up. "Hey, Keilin!" She waved, then just suddenly caught sight of anoher familiar face. "Yakobi, over here," she called over, waving them all over into a little group like thing.

A call for her name stopped Keilin in her tracks, lost in thought before. She spinned her head around - looking for the source of that vaguely familiar voice. Who was that?
Chata's head perked up immediately. A new voice! He ran three feet of Keilin; realizing there was nothing in front of them, he swiftly made a U-turn, now five feet behind Keilin, facing away from her. He spotted Fae and a distinct blue thing beside her. Chata cocked his head, a puzzled expression covering his face. He gave a curious squawk. What was that?
Keilin caught sight of Fae, waving back to her, finally. She hesitated, expecting a gryphon to be somewhere around. She took a step forwards; then two, and on until she reached Fae. Her head kept moving, trying to look for something familiar... Pueblo. She scratched her head and noticed something wispy and blue close to Fae, though she didn't give it a second look or thought.
"Where's... Pueblo?" she asked. Keilin was looking down on the grassy ground until a sudden movement to her side caught her attention yet again.
She smiled as Yakobi approached, looking at her through the corners of her eyes, thinking that Yakobi was by herself, the jar that she remembered from before nowhere in sight; she had still been occupied trying to find where the little owl-wolf gryphon was present at.

As Yakobi walked up towards the two she noticed that there was a change in things sicne the last time she had met up with them...Fae's gryphon was gone, but there was a blue thing floating near the girl...Could that be Pueblo? Another change...Keilin didn't have her jar anymore, but there was a small little gryphon near her. She smiled at it "Is that Chata?" she exclaimed looking at the little fuzzy thing. Turning her gaze to the blue thing she had figure that it had to be Pueblo, Fae wouldn't have gone off without her Aerandir...Would she? The girl poited at it "Pueblo?" she asked turning her gaze to Fae.
Taranis let out a cheep as he looked around at the others...Who were they? "Cheep cheeeeeep!" he cried nipping at Yakobi's shoulder, as if asking to introduce himself. Although his caretaker seemed a bit preoccupied. He flapped his little wings and pawed at the girl, he wanted down and he was going to get his way!

There was an eager smile under Fae's lips as everyone closed in, but as soon as they were all around, the first thing she noticed was how Pueblo hide behind her. "Shh, it's okay. You remember Keilin and Yakobi, right?" She wishpered before any of them noticed.
But then the second thing...or rather things she noticed were two new gryphons. "Oh!" She exclaimed as the polarbear/penguin ran up and practically circle the nervous Pueblo. Her green eyes flashed up to Yakobi, the direction where the gryphon came from. "Is that...Taranis?" She grinned slightly.
Then, with teh flash of restless green, she saw Chata...or she assumed to be Chata, in Keilin's arms. Why hadn't she'd notice him before? "Wow! Chata, too? Congrats you guys! When did they emerge?" She asked, eyeing the energetic gryphons.
Pueblo's eyes widened and gasped a little bit. Who were those new Aerandir? After getting past the jitteryness, she reconized the two girls when she was younger. A gryphon. They didn't seem as big now, especially when she was floating at eye level now. Reaching out for her paint brush nervously, her hand fell through Fae's once again before she pulled it back and smiled dourly.
"Oh, yes! I nearly forgot- guys, this is Pueblo. She's...a wisp now since two days ago. I actually have alist of items that I need to colect too during the week..." she somewhat frowned, but looked happy about Pueblo anyway.

"Yes, Chata emerged... it happened about half a month ago, I believe," Keilin stated proudly. She looked at Chata and smiled - in response, Chata blinked and happily squeeked.
Keilin blinked, now noticing the new changes in the Aerandir of these two since she last met them. Her mouth opened slightly, a slightly dazed, shocked expression on her face. A grin appeared all over, and then, with a chuckle, she tilted her head so that she could closer inspect the wisp form of Pueblo.
"Pueblo! A wisp! That's amazing, Fae! Congrats!" was all Keilin could manage to say; not having seen a wisp before in her life.
She examined the wisping edges that seemed to continuously move about near the bottom of Pueblo, amazed. Her attention, though, was soon caught by the polar bear-penguin Aerandir below Pueblo. She bent down, feeling the urge to touch the fur of the fuzzy little gryphon.
"Oh my, Taranis is so... he's so cuddly, Yakobi," she said, a bit embarassed, calling a male Aerandir 'cuddly.'
She slumped a bit, still slightly shocked from the marvelous changes in both the Aerandir.
"Items, you say..?" she caught herself, Fae's last question still lingered in her mind despite the concentration she had on the other Aerandir.

((Gaia ate my first post. gonk )) "Taranis just emerged today." the girl smiled as she watched as he stood still as Keilin petted him. "Yeah he is quite cuddly. I'm surprised that he's staying so still, hasn't stood still since he emerged." she laughed slightly. She looked over to Fae and Pueblo "Pueblo is beautiful." she spoke in awe of the Aerandir. "So does that mean that she'll be turning into a humanish in a sense soon?" she questioned, tilting her head ever so slightly to the side. She was about to ask about the items when Keilin beat her to it. "Could we help in anyway?" she asked Fae. In we she was refering to herself and Taranis of course. She looked over to Chata "Chata's really cute. What bird is he mixed with again?" she asked.
Taranis stood very still as the girl stroked him. He felt someone overwhelmed about all those around him. He wasn't used to this...Not yet anyways. "Peep!" he cried out, his blood red eyes glancing at both Chata and Pueblo. His let out another peep as he stared at Pueblo. How was she floting above the ground like that? His little stubby tail wiggling back and forth, causing his bulky body to move as well. "Peep peep peep!" he called out, bounding up and down.

Fae nodded, though somewhat distractidly as she tried her best to listen to the other owners. She really couldn't leave her eyes off Pueblo since this was all new for her. Well, as far as being a wisp looking at new gryphond anyway. Staring down at Taranis, she grinned a bit in stare. "He's awefully frisky, the bother of them are. But I guess that's comparing them to Miss Mellow here," she said and gave Pueblo a warm smile.
Pueblo stared down at Taranis and cocked her head. What was he trying to do? Catiously floating closer to him, she reached out with her small arm to try and 'pet' him so much how her mother used to do. If petting felt so good (especially in the right spots), then they must like it too! But as her hand neared the penguin's head, she had almost forgot and it slipped through. Her eyes going wide, she drew back and furrowed her brows in hopes she didn't hurt him. Her mouth gaped, but no words came out. If anything, a slight wimper that sounded smooth and childish.
Fae had watched the incident and frowned side ways. "It's alright, Abby, you didn't hurt him. You just can't feel anything yet." She turned to her friends. "Once they're a wisp, they can't hold or eat anything. It's normal, so I guess I don't have too much to worry about." After awhile of watching, she dug out her list of items that she needed and recited the list. "It's some kind of quest where you have to obtain items that'll be combined with Pueblo so that she, yes, will hopefully soon change into a child. I still need a plain metal neckchain, a plain metal ankle braclet, one small flower, and one thick ribbon."

Chata moved his head from side to side, listening to the people around him talk. His gaze lingered on the floating form of Pueblo above him, and he carefully stepped out of Keilin's arms, setting himself directly below Pueblo's wispy form. His head turned upwards while his wings ruffled, tail swishing behind him. He then suddenly hopped up, wings folded along his sides. Paws extended and reached at Pueblo's floating form, but to Chata's surprise, he missed! But he could have sworn that he made contact with Pueblo! Chata sighed in dismay and circled below Pueblo, and then walked up to Taranis. He poked his head into the moving Taranis's fuzzy polar bear body, curious about the other Aerandir-gryphon.
Keilin giggled at the peeps Taranis emitted, eyes still focused on him. "Thanks, he's mixed with a quetzal," she replied. "Quite an amazing bird, with its long, emerald feathers..." she continued, trailing off. "Though, a penguin... that'd be an interesting avian combination for an Aerandir, wouldn't it be?"
She bent down a little on her knees, a little tired from standing for so long. She scratched her head and hummed as Fae recited her list, pondering if she had any of the items she mentioned.
"I know I have some small flowers in a vase that my husband brought along when he came over - I guess those could work for that flower you need," she said contemplatively. "As for the metal things, I've never seen a plain one before, but... hey, we'll do our best to help you, right? I'm sure a thick ribbon wouldn't be so hard to find, either," she continued, partly looking at Yakobi and her Taranis with Chata's head poking in his fur.

Tsukai soon finished his sleep after his 'birth' and had spent the last five minutes or so hopping around the room, fluttering, and peeping in an endearing fashion. As Kiro left the centre for another (and Tsukai's first) wander he was almost afraid the little creature was going to leap off somewhere and get lost.
The group of girls wasn't that hard to spot, in fact Kiro heard them first. He made sure Tsukai was securely settled in the hollow between his collarbone and his neck before moving quickly towards the group with a slight wave. Fae was the only one of them he recognised, but getting to know people was a high priority on his 'to do' list.

Pueblo's eyes widened as the elder gryphon, Chata, try to pounce her but fell through. She quickly knelt by his side and gave him an apologetic smile, moving her hands around as they passed through one another. "Heeaa" she murmured, showing him how she couldn't touch anything. But it was no fun being depressed! Flying back up to Fae's hand to make sure her paint brush was still there, she smiled, then flew back down to Chata and Taranis. There, she circled around them a few times until she realized what speed she could pick up. Ohh, too fast! Then without even thinking, she flew right through them, giving them warm little chills and grinned. Ohhh.
Fae watched the Aerandir all begin to play. At least now Pueblo was getting used to her new temporary form. "That'd be wonderful, Keilin," she replied about the flowers. "All I need is a little one." She pondered what type they could be, but she wouldn't ask to avoid being picky.
They continued talking and watching the Aerandir play before she caught note of Anakiro heading their way. He was strangley silent, but then again, he was pretty young compared to everyone in their female group. "Hey, Anakiro," she said cheerfuly and waved for him. "How're- ohh." She suddenly saw a little mouse-bird nestled in his neck. It was pretty obvious to see. "Is that...Tsukai?! It seems everyone's jars have broken now." New Aerandir were always so interesting to see. Aly always ame up with the most curious combinations, but they always worked out. She eyed the little ren-rat with a distant smile- at least now Pueblo wouldn't try and hunt him.

The bulky Aerandir let out a peep of surprise as Pueblo's hand seemed to go though him. It never hurt, but it was...Strange. Was something wrong with her? "Peep?" he spoke his little paws pushing around the dirt. He lowered his long poited beak to the ground pushing around small pebbles that lay upon the path.
His head quickly turned around as the small gryphon poked his head into his fur. "Peep peep!" he shouted nipping gently at the other as a warning to move his head. He wasn't used to others being so close to him like that. "Peep PEEP!" heshouted once more, backing up slightly.
"Must be very confusing for them as a wisp." the girl spoke as she watched Pueblo. "I might be able to help you get a ribbon," she paused "I should have one at home. Her pink hair blew back in the slight amount of wind, she knew she had a ribbon somewhere at home. And it wasn't as if she was using it, and she wanted to help in Fae and Pueblo in anyway she could.
The girl turned to Keilin "A quetxal..." she repeated. Ah yes those birds the the extremly long tails. "They are very pretty." she uttered, quickly turning her gaze over to Taranis. "Taranis be nice." she said, disapointed about how he was acting suddenly.
