DevilsDarkAngel OMG KT YOUR IN A DRUM AND BUGLE CORPS WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME WHICH ONE ARE YOU IN????
I'm even going to DCI Division I Finals this year since its in Pasedena! OMG I am even trying out for Vanguard next season Hope you have fun Marching this Season!!!!! OMG THATS SO KEWL I KNOW ANOTHER PERSON THAT MARCHERS DRUM CORPS!!!! AND WELCOME BACK!!! How did I know you'd be excited... wink I'm in a Div 3 corp called "Gold" (form Hawthorn) for my second and last season(I'm aging out this year because my birthday just barely misses the start of the season). We had two comps this past weekend and we got first both times. We're excited, we beat Impulse all weekend. They were bumped up to a div 2 at the beginning of last season and then brought back down again and they're kinda the favorites to get first at finals this year. But yeah, we're all excited. We're kinda hoping to be the newish kids who work their butts off to get good scores and be the little corp that could.
Basically, it's a corp of a bunch of poor Mexican kids from Hawthorn (which is less than five minutes away from such cheery areas as Compton) that have a hell of a lot of talent and deserve to show it. It's actually kinda funny, my little sister and I are 2 of like 3 white people actually in (there's also 2 white staff members) the corp so everyone loves to make all sorts of jokes. But yeah, I don't know if you've see Vanguard this year yet but I'm liking their show way more than I like Blue Devil's this year... But yeah, the season is early yet...
Amway's it's late and I need to sleep... I hope I can't get on after work tomorrow...

Question~
I was sorted into Slytherin house more than half a year ago. I went through an entire term of DADA and posted in the common room often (Ask Eowuclya; she knows me.). I know people from the house and I played games at Spinner's End all the time. Recently, I got a PM telling me that I was never sorted.
I just went to the Sorting Hat to find my records, and all of them except the recent ones have been deleted!
What's going on?!

Once again I did everything I could to keep this guild from dying. I did a great job with the help of people like DDA, Alutian, Miss Love Tantei, NJL and plenty of others. Angil gave me a virtual slap in the face.
She did nothing to help with the upbringing of this guild. I respected her decisions because she was in this guild a bit longer than me (2 months!)
For her to commandeer control like she did is wrong. I feel sorry that HPGoG will probably die with KT gone. It was a wonderful guild and it took plenty of work (I know because I was there before)

Eh...I'm not sure I like what was done to the Classrooms. We teachers like to update our thread titles whenever a new Lesson comes around so students know when to drop in and don't have to check five classrooms every couple of days to make sure they don't miss a quiz. And if the non-mod teachers cannot edit their first posts to do this, they'll either have to resign their students to confusion (lessening student activity in the classes) or ask mods to edit the first posts for them (adding another job to the list of things mods need to do).
Besides that, there'll be new classes every term. Don't you think that's a bit of unnecessary hassle, having to set up new stickies every term and repair them every time they fall back down because a teacher had to fix a spelling mistake or something?
Announcement threads made in 'Around Hogwarts' will get lost in the Common Rooms. People glancing through in a hurry may miss something important there.
Also, regulating house points awarded sounds sort of Umbridge-ish to me. No personal offence meant, Angil, you have good reason for suggesting this, but I don't like the conformity of it. I believe that a teacher may be allowed to choose whether the max. amount of points a student may recieve for homework is fifteen or twenty on his or her own. We already have a guideline for awarding points. Must we tighten this guideline into a strict rule?
Lastly, I was unaware of the planning of this move and these new rules. Why was I not informed, asked? I am one of the fairly regular teachers, if that means anything here, as well as the current Head of Ravenclaw. As I understand it, IceeWitch was also not asked about this, and I suspect that the other mods were also a little...left out. Could you please backtrack this occurance a little, and at least let us discuss the pros and cons?
