Lucius thought for a moment and then shook his head. "I don't need anything in particular..." He said. "Though I do know a lovely bistro with many private booths where we could talk in secure privacy... I would know, I am one of the owners of the place." He said with a chuckle. "Do you think that he might object if we asked him to join us there? Does he have other preferences?" He asked.
Zack smiled and shrugged. "What can I say. He always likes to get it know new people like this." He chuckled.

Mara shook her head, "Cooro shouldn't mind at all. If you let me know the name of the place and where it is located I could call him and let him know that we'd like to meet up with him there." Mara now had her cellphone in her hand. It was already open and she was ready to dial the number. The young vampire was quite excited. Anything that had to do with new places, meeting people, the chance for excitement, any thing else that could be interesting, made her very excited!
Smiling at Zack Mara shook her head, "It starts off for a good impression!" She exclaimed. "All the same I think Cooro will be thrilled to meet you Sir."

Lucius chuckled. "Alright then. I am anxious to meet him. the restaurant is called El Rio Verdad. Its on Helman street." He told Mara with a smile.
Zack smiled and shrugged. "There you have it. The place has good food, thankfully Lucius is part owner, I could never afford it." He said to Mara.

Mara smiled. "Okay then, I will call him right away and let him know." Mara said taking a few steps away. In a movement that was quicker than the human eye could pick up she had her phone out and dialed. Once Cooro picked up she began peaking in a soft tone and so quickly the other could not understand a word of it. In fact they could hardly hear it. With a soft snap of her phone Mara turned and smiled at the two. "Okay, he'll meet us there." She said brightly. "I'm ready to go when you are."
Cooro smiled as he set down his phone next to his book. The vampire sighed. "What a silly girl." he commented. Getting to his feet he decided he rather leave his other house guests behind. He wanted to take Adelle with him though. So first he would go check on her.

Darilus woke from his torpor to find the changeling girl still resting in his bed. Although he could have fed on her but he decided it best to go out and find himself a fresh meal. The night breeze felt good on his cool body as he emerged from his building looking like a different man. His ability to change his shape was very useful and even life saving at times. The girl would be fine he thought to himself. He left her a note to let her now he was going to be out for a while.
The night air was fresh with the sent of prey every where but Darilus was not the type to wantingly attack a victim and drain them dead. He has learned over the years how to make best of the blood he takes and how to control his withdrawal of the crimson sustenance. Afterward it was a simple process to confuse his victims with a little mental push before moving on. By doing things this way he has lived for a very long time.

Cooro walked quietly as death down the hallways down to the room he had made especially for his other adopted daughter. He knocked lightly at the door. "Adelle?" He asked entering the room. He stopped in the doorway and watched her for a moment with her book folded in her arms.
Eager as always Mara was nearly bouncing off the walls. She was excited to get out into the open world of night and to spread her wings. She wished to be now under the invisible stars and watched by the pressing city lights. Perhaps soon she would have her wish.

Lucius opened the door to the apartment for the other two. "Let us get going if we wish to meet them there." He said with a smile.
Zack grinned. He could see Mara's excited energy practically bursting out of her. "Alright, should we take the stairs or the elevator?" He asked Mara.

"Stairs, stairs are quicker." She said smiling as she lightly skipped past Lucius. "Thank you!" She chirped to Lucius. Truthfully she wasn't sure if she could keep still as the elevator moved downward. The stairs just seemed like more fun, and if they were fashioned correctly she could practice her jumping.

Adelle found herself caught the grip of a dream, more akin to nightmare. Memories of her mortal life jumbled together into a painstaking misery. She hated her mortal life; it had never been kind to her. She tossed in bed, beads of red tinted sweat building on her face. She mumbled incoherent French, and shook her head subconsciously, trying to shake the images from her mind.
Eve emerged, renewed, but not satiated. An orange glaze covered the horizon. She inhaled the familiar city air, an amalgamation of scents, including that of a preternatural coercion. There was always a force to be reckoned with in Laytham, hence her solitude, but this sent a surge through her core. Her posture tensed in it's wake, and a certain curiosity filled her mind. She searched out for Arzachel, the only being near to a companion that she had. Certainly, in his aged wisdom, he would know whom this was.
Julian tired of the Lycan camp. His brethren had nothing to offer but wounds and feral attitude. Boro had been accommodating, but team play was no longer his style. He silently approached Hannah and Damian, ever coupled as they were, and whispered his departure plans to Damian's twitching canine ear. "I am leaving my friend. What I seek is not here. These soldiers are weak from the previous battle. I need active recruits. You are welcomed to join me if you like."
ARSENII, delivered a resonant laugh, shortly before retracting the blade from his victim. Lycan blood slid down the edge of the shining sabre. He extracted a cloth from his coat pocket, to wipe the metal clean. "These poor bastards. So harmless, and animalian. I'd hate to be one." Arsenii smirked, smashing a boot down atop the lifeless corpse. A sharp crack was audible as he dug the the steel toe downward. "Do you think the Upyr here as just as placid? I'd not like to see our kind stoop that low. I hear nothing but terrible things about this city. Nothing like home. Ah, home." He tilted his head towards the sky and gazed into the dull blue with malevolent gray eyes. "You should join me there sometime Tika." There was a faint lilt to his voice that accented every word.
[ Upyr, also spelled Upir, is the most common Russian name for a vampire.
ALSO, just to inform, we have a new clan: Exsanguis. I could still use members, if any of you would so kindly volunteer. Read Arsenii's profile for details. ]

Cooro tilted his head to the side, she had been so peaceful, and it was not often a vampire didn't sleep like the dead if they slept at all. Stepping forward Cooro gently placed his hand on her forehead to calm her wiggling, tossing body. "Adelle." He whispered softly. He wiped the sweat away from her and watched her sadly for a moment. He could only imagine what was going on in her mind. At this time he wished Mara was home. If Adelle didn't get better soon he would call her and ask her to come home. He hoped Adelle would get better though. She had to. What could possibly be wrong?
Damian smiled with a wolfy grin and nodded. That is something I have come to notice also. Their plans are sketchy. They don't know what to do." Damian shrugged, "If you believe we could all do better than my sister and I will follow you." Damian wished to go along for the ride because he wasn't all that interested in fighting, but here there was nothing but constant misery. "Come on Hannah, we're leaving." He said softly to his sister.
Hannah nodded. "You know I'll follow you Damian." Hannah said slightly amazed. She hadn't thought he would want to go with Julian, but she shrugged. Unlike her brother she wanted to fight the vampires. She had an intense hate for them, and a feeling they must all be exterminated.
Tika, not too far from Arsenii, was skipping around singing softly, "La te-da, La te-da." She would stop and stoop over another corpse and shake her head before turning around and skipping off to another. Turning finally to face Arsenii she smiled and skipped off in his direction. Nearly to him she jumped, and landed with her arms wrapped around his neck. Her short white hair brushed past her face and fell forward over her shoulders, some fell over her comrade's shoulders as well. "Tell me about your home." Tika said resting her chin on his shoulder. A light human toned blush had filled her face with color and light. She had fed well this night.

Adelle jumped up defensively. She looked through the darkness to see her vampiric father. "I am sorry. Was I making quite the racket? My friends back in Paris tell me that I speak in my sleep. It unnerves me; I do not wish to say something personal subconsciously." Adelle ran her slender fingers through the locks of wet hair strung out around her face. She examined her hands. "I do detest this blood / sweat mixture. It's unsightly." She fall back onto the linen sheets. "What is wrong with me? These...feelings...they are something mortals have. Not we. J'ai peur, père."
Julian grinned, turning towards the woods. He closed his eyes to ingest the smell of fresh shrubbery. "Do you two ever wander inside the city limits? I think that is where we shall go."
"Ah, my dear." Arsenii took her firmly by the waist and twirled around under the twilight sky. "It is magnificent. Cold, recluse, wild and untamed; we fear nothing! There is no secrecy! Especially not from those unworthy of us." He stooped downward to meet her gaze, taking a lock of her silken hair into his hand, he brushed it against his cheek, before delivering her swift kiss to the neck. "My darling!" Arsenii turned to face the city lights, arms open in welcome "We are here to create chaos!" Yet another sadistic laugh escaped his lips.
[ J'ai peur, père = I am afraid, father. ]

Cooro's gentle gaze watched Adelle. For a moment Cooro stood completely still, but once he seemed to wake from his daze he seated himself on the side of her bed. Looking into the face of his adopted daughter he spoke. He reached out to take her hand gently in his. "I just walked in to check on you my dear." he said rubbing her hand gently. The doctor didn't know what was going on. Unless Adelle was becoming more like Mara and himself he didn't know why she was having these feelings. But what would cause her to feel these things?
Cooro smiled, "Please do not be afraid my dear. If you wish we could see what Mara has to say about it. I was coming to ask you if you wanted to go with a restaurant to meet her, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend's father. Do you feel well enough? It is night time now. I was hoping we could get out before our other guests awaken."
Damian shook his head. "I have not been within the city limits in a very long time. Hannah refuses to." Damian said looking at his sister. "But if that is our destination then I will go with you." He said almost as a challenge for his sister who scoffed angrily.
"Is that where you're going?" Hannah asked shifting nervously. The city was a place they were unwelcome, and she knew it. Damian did too.
Tika's wild, blood red eyes gleamed. She panted slightly, a wide smile on her face. A high pitched giggle pierced the peaceful night sky. She found joy in the company of Arsenii. Ever since she had met him she had been fascinated by him. "It sounds like a truly terrible place." She laughed. "I would love to go back home with you!" Tika said hugging Arsenii tightly. "What fun we shall have then." She said with a gleam of her head eyes. "Shall we see what is going on in the town streets tonight dearest?"

Zack grinned. "Alright! The stairs it is then!" He said to her with energy. He went over to the door that led to the stairs and held it open for Mara. Lucius stayed behind them diligently, but let them have their space.

Mara curtsied to Zack and jumped past him. She wiggled like an excited dog on the other side of the door. "Come on Zack." She said softly. "The night calls!" Her eyes gleamed with a thirst for adventure and getting outside. "And thank you for opening the door." She added softly.

Eve walked the rooftops with an elegant swagger. One foot placed before the other, in a graceful, cat-like fashion no human could muster. She sought out Arzachel, and possibly, the nights feed.
Adelle cast a troubled look. "Perhaps I am more normal than I thought. Are you often haunted by your past? Do you feel sympathy for the humans? If this is natural, than I suppose I have been fretting for not." She pushed the damp hair from her face and sat up again. "I would love to see Mara. I miss her so...Would you happen to have a change of clothes?"
"Why do you fear the city, my dear? The vampires? Have you not learned to cloak yourself?" Julian knelt beside Hannah, the worry in her eyes troubling him. "I believe, that there are underground groups awaiting the right time to attack. Unlike our woodland brethren, they would not have been harmed by vampiric attacks. It is our best option."
"That we shall, my monstrous little love." Arsenii took her arm in his, and proceeded with a gentlemanly gait. An outsider would never see, the beast that dwelled deep within his core. Tika knew, and that was why he choose her as his companion on personal affairs. Her heart was equally as tainted and macabre. Arsenii was clad in a black Soviet military coat, lined with silver clasps, fitting tight around his lean torso. He was tall, muscular, with shining platinum hair. His appearance was certainly otherworldly; most definitely his piercing slate eyes.
