Alutian gets up on a chair and clears her throat. When she has most of the room's attention, she starts to speak.
"Okay, I know that the Fourth of July is an American holiday, and that Hogwarts is a British school, and that the two countries probably have very different views on that holiday for obvious reasons, but I am a proud American, and so..."
A huge box of Whiz-Bangs and Filibuster Fireworks goes off in a spectacular explosion of harmless sparks.
"HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!"

Hope everyone had a great fourth of July. ^^ Here in Canada we don't really celebrate it, we celebrate Canada Day on July 1st instead. razz

It's a holiday that Canadians celebrate. ^^ This year was Canada's 139th birthday I think.
