I just got to tell you all what's on my mind right now just so I can get it out. Another artist problem. sad

An artist stopped by my request thread showing of some samples. I ordered a picture of my two cats and we agreed upon the price of 12k.

The other day he stopped by again showing me a "proof" of that he is drawing my cats and that I should send and confirm a trade of half the price.

I PM'ed him saying that in a VERY friendly and polite way that I do not send any gold in advance. I told him It says clearly in the first post of my request thread that I only confirm trades when I have seen the final picture, watermarked or not. This is recomended by the moderators and it's the safest way for both to know that we will get what we want. I also said very friendly that he did'nt get the info right. One of my cat is adult and the other one is a kitten, he drew the kitten bigger then the adult. And he mixed up the eye color and the fur at one of them. I told him that it's okay whith the sizes, we can pretend it's a fururistic picture. ^^

Then he responded whith a VERY rude PM that we would'nt draw me because I have refused payment. That he has a profesionall art shop and that I did'nt follow his rules and that I was a scammer.

I expain again that I will pay when the picture is finnished and that I have'nt even seen his shop and that he ageed to my rules when he offered his art in my request thread.

And he goes on saying that I refuse payent and that I have threatend him. eek ? Wich I sertainly did'nt do at any time.

At my last PM I was bit rude cause I was upset. I told him that he's acting wierd cause he can't draw the picture and does'nt want to fail.

Now he says he's going to report me. rofl

Do you send any gold in advance? I only do it if it's ceap or if I know the artist. Never had problems whith this before, most people don't even watermark but I always pay of course.

I've saved our conversation and if a mod sees it he or she will just laught at him. xd

I mean I got suspicious when he came into my request thread showing up the WIP calling it "proofs" like 3 times, he was so eager to get the gold and we have'nt even talked about that.

Well I do as a mod and that can't be a bad thing. ^^

lol. My best art comes at the highest price of all - my own art. XD I'm a trader by nature. hehe. I don't realy like freebies, and I'm comparatively poor.

My AB was an Angelic Sash. He offered me an Oct 03, which is 150% of an ASash's worth. It was like "O_O" ... Alex/Silencieux keps saying that she knew it'd happen. :p

I'm stopping commissions some time between the end of winter and beginning of spring, i think. Probably around March. So I can work on my comic book.

lol. not really. I've still got a LONG way to go. I went to Philcon today, and - before I got kicked out for being there too early - I realized that I was FAR from being awesome.
