The_Cuteness_Cat "Its foolish to miss him..." She said simply, sitting down on her bed, inviteing Jusaku to sit with her. "Dont worry about it, I'm just on edge." She said, looking away from him. Her mind, her very body, was screaming to get away from any thought of Eros. "I'm not one for love, not one to miss..." Devi tried to appear cold, heartless. Pushing all her vampire instincts forward. He sat on the bed with her. "I can see that." He took out the small bag filled with red crystals and ate some.

She glared at him but let it go. "What about you...Dont you want romance? Even demons miss love." She said, touching his hand lightly.

"Love is something I have, but am not sure I can give it out again. The last time I did it ended painfully." His heart was racked with pain when he thought about it. "I don't want to lose another that I cherish."

Devi laughed. "Oh I know how that feels..." Her laugh was cold, bitter. "Sometimes I wonder if I want love...when lust is just as sweet."

The_Cuteness_Cat Devi laughed. "Oh I know how that feels..." Her laugh was cold, bitter. "Sometimes I wonder if I want love...when lust is just as sweet." "I doubt you had to kill your lover?" He hated the laugh she did, it made him feel even worse. He put the bag of crystals away.

Devi sighed, she got up and brought a photo to the bed, holding it lightly. The blue eyed blonde stared up at her. "He was a lycan...We were engadged." She stared at the picture, the unblinking eyes. "No, I havent killed a lover...I watched him die before me."

I find no companionship in you and I need none, now learn respect or leave me." She glared, so tired of his games. Jusaku quickly changed his mood. "My heart?!? You think that y-." He stopped. "Don't want me, fine, go gather you hate against the world." He got up and walked outside. He sat on the swing. "It seems that no one needs someone like me, again." His depression that he had hidden so well came out. A couple of black tears came out of his eyes and burned the ground when they hit it.

Devi lay down on the bed and sobbed, regret hanging on her lips. Every mistake she had made stung at her. "Whats wrong with me!?!?" she screamed, her face burried in the pillows, drowning every sense out but the pain that hung on her chest.

The morning pursued him. The Moon had fled the glorious light of the Sun, leaving its twin celestial body alone and in despair. The stolen blood in his veins began to boil. The air was changing as the heat of the morning sluggishly crept upon it. The pale creature fled from the light. He was bred in darkness, and in darkness he would remain.
Eros knew the castle was the closest place to hide. He knew he had to return. He knew fate would not tear him from Lucas did Devinity not need him. A song echoed through his mind. A song once sung of tragic lovers. It was a ballad. No one in history has ever discovered the brilliant mind who penned the lyrics. Devinity had sung it but once, and only for another. That was the first time Eros had heard his primadonna's voice.
The vampire cleared his head. His skin was red. Soon burns would appear on his hands and face. He had yet to reach the thick, lush areas of the forest where three shadows would provide some refuge. As his skin began to burn he slid under a thick evergreen tree. He tore his arms through the sleeves of his long trenchcoat. With his knees curled to his chest, arms wrapped across his legs, head resting on his knees, and jacket covering every inch of skin otherwise unprotected, he called for her.
The moon stretched his mind, near to the point of breaking, to reach that of his most beloved Star. He prayed to any god, every god, that she could forgive him. The heat consuming him was not unlike that of his own Sun's, yet stronger, more aggressive.
"Please! Please, my primadonna....I beg you-save me."
At this point he was much too weak to ask any more of her. He doubted she would even listen.
"Now the play come full circle," he whispered bitterly to himself.
"I am the feeble one, up high on a balcony. She is my savoir, risking life and limb for my protection against that which wouldst tear us apart. You are a pathetic actor. You have no feeling, NO BELIEF, in your character." His critique continued on.
"You disgust me."

He had ignored Devi, thinking it was another way to come back at him. He sat on the swing. He sighed. "It seems to be true that demons aren't good at love." I just had to say that.... I don't even think she will let me back into the house..... He punched the tree, it shook violently and stopped. He sat on the steps, thinking of what to do next.

Devi felt a huge surge in her heart, the voice screaming through her mind. She felt all of her lovers pain in one full moment. She screamed as it finally washed over. Devi jumped out of her bed, pulling her cloak over her. She rarely dissaperated...she hadent the time to run, she had to. She closed her eyes, feeling the tingle through her body. She felt her knees slam into the ground, her back hit the leaves. She sat up, groaning heavily. "Eros!" Devi tried to get up, her ankle surgeing with pain. She had fallen to the ground before him. "I wont let you leave me again!" She cried, pulling off her cloak for him. "Take it, its a short fix...I-...I dont know if I can get us back..." She sobbed, feeling useless as before. "Please please...." She cried, more to herself than anything.

The_Cuteness_Cat Devi felt a huge surge in her heart, the voice screaming through her mind. She felt all of her lovers pain in one full moment. She screamed as it finally washed over. Devi jumped out of her bed, pulling her cloak over her. She rarely dissaperated...she hadent the time to run, she had to. She closed her eyes, feeling the tingle through her body. She felt her knees slam into the ground, her back hit the leaves. She sat up, groaning heavily. "Eros!" Devi tried to get up, her ankle surgeing with pain. She had fallen to the ground before him. "Please please...." She cried, more to herself than anything. He saw her running out to her love. He ran to them. "I can." He held on to both of them and they all teleported in a puff of black ash to inside of the castle. "Your welcome." He walked up to his room, not looking back.

Eros could feel Devinity's presence, yet he had no strength to respond to it. His skin was still flushed but no longer burning. He head pounded and his body ached. He was glad she had come for him.
"Thank you, my love." He expended what little energy he had to tell her that. He collapsed in her arms,alive, but unconscious.
