"I guess I don't have much of a choice, "Link replied. the teenager gulped before finally moving to the top platform. There a hammer wielding moblin laid in wait. As it spotted Link, it shoved it's hammer into the ground and sent out a wave of earth. as the attack was long ranged, it took little effort for Link to dodge to the right and began his charge. He managed to dart between the blasts for awhile, but as he got close, he found that he simply lacked the speed. With a single hit, the young man was sent flying back to the staircase.

Zelda let out a little involuntary gasp as Link was sent flying backwards after several nerve wracking seconds of dodging blasts; she was instantly furious with herself. Being a concerned bystander wasn't helpful in the least. She rushed forward and helped Link up. "Are you alright?" He seemed okay, just dazed, but that didn't necessarily mean anything.

"Ma, is that you?" link asked, slightly disoriented from the blow. As things came back into focus,a sudden concern came over the boy, "Zelda, get back, it's not safe here."

"No, we've got to distract him. Maybe if we can get behind him...?" Moria offered. It seemed a risky plan, but then again, so had just charging. They at least knew what he was going to do now.

Link's eye immediately went to the yellow fairy floating above his head. "I wonder where we can find one of those," he smirked devilishly.

Gustave quickly looked at Link, and instantly knew what he was thinking. "Well, What am I supposed to do, I'm not huge, I'm tiny and weak and annoying!"

"Which is what makes you the perfect distraction," Link replied, still Grinning. "Now get over there," with a simple flick, the hylian sent his friend flying.

"You should be nicer to your friends," said Zelda severely, brushing a loose strand of hair back behind a pointed ear as she tried to hide the smile twitching traitorously at the corners of her mouth. "In any case, I'm not sure how much of a distraction he can be expected to provide; that thing might not even see him."

It would seem that the moblin was far to busy trying to hit the fairy, that it did not even seem to notice the hylian coming after it. With a swift swing of the sword, the moblin fell to it's knees, and with a few more it faded away."Gus, you can stop doing that now."
