niamhybeag PrayThatThisEnds niamhybeag error-dot-tar Your own two hands. It's hand made. Trust me, I looked, you know how much of a nerd I am. Yarp, it's handmade. How'd ya do the stuffing? and where did you get that fabric? heart I didn't make it, unfortunately. More of a knitter myself. But a quick Google search should bring up the blog of the person who did make it. You can ask them in a comment. wink Stuffing is easy though. Just buy some kapok or other stuffing, and poke it in gently. Hmmmm... Thank you. heart

No problem! I've made a couple of knitted toys, and owing to a lack of decent craft stores in my area had to take apart a couple of battered up teddies from the charity shop.
But it's much easier to buy a bag of nice, new stuffing than to try and make sure that the reused stuff is clean and that you don't end up with bits of the old toy in it. If you live in the States, places like JoAnn's are a life-saver (or so I've gathered from the crafty Americans I've spoken to).

So far i've made my own wand, altar, and sewn together a tau robe, but buying is definitely much easier and with my experience, looks much nicer. I would much better if i could get back into making ritual items, but i've moved from self-initiation to an order, so its not necessary - I need something to do to fill in that gap now. Not sure what.

I can't really make stuff, well except for music, but my friend Rixz is good at making her own clothes.

Awesomeness. Well, I really mainly sing, but I've been doing it all my life and even done some solos in competitions. I'm trying to learn guitar, though, and one day I wanna learn drums and violin and maybe even piano. I just absolutely love music of all types. It's practically my reason for living.

I can't do anything arty. I can't even cut in a straight line. xD I was put on this earth to do science.
Speaking of which, I had my biology exam today, it was considerably better than I thought it would be. I forgot all about somatic gene therapy though. I ended up waffling about plasmids in bacteria and hoping for the best. whee
Chemistry and maths tomorrow. burning_eyes
Last night I dreamt I was on a borg ship and they were trying to assimilate me. Scary s**t. I'm watching star trek as usual and it's a borg episode. And now it's actually freaking me out! confused

ShadowCatSoul Hi guys! *smiles shyly and waves* Greetings and welcome. surprised Wow, that bear... reminds me of a Vohzd for some reason. sweatdrop I used to be a talented potter and smith. There was also a time when I could hold a violin while it sang, but methinks that was well in the past. neutral

error-dot-tar I used to knit. And crochet. Kind of miss it. You could always pick it back up 3nodding . I could never crochet though; I keep dropping stitches on the ends and I end up with a triangle ^_^;;;;;; I can't wait until I can knit again; my hands have been itching to knit.

Flooded out.
Be back when water goes down. Don't know if I'll have a computer.
Hubby and I are safe.
