I almost forgot to mention, if there's anybody who wants to help me with the Black Lantern Corps, please let me know. I could handle it on my own, but it's always more fun to play a legion if you have more than one mind in it.

Technically the Supers aren't human either. But Mira couldn't be completely stripped of her powers, as her powers are her. Completely removing them would have left her genetically unstable, and thus, dead. That's why I kept her open phenotype expression intact.
She has a default, yes, but under normal circumstances she shouldn't be in her default, but a custom set of characteristics. So, magic mostly stripped her of her powers in a sense, but she can now be only one or the other, instead of her usual hybrid.

Welcome to the fictional world Stray, we tend to throw reality's guidelines out the window.

You keep saying that, like I'm trying to impose real world logic on this.
Welcome to the real world. Fiction has guidelines too.
ALL worlds, even fictional ones, have rules. You have to establish those rules and you have to follow them. Often these rules are based on real-world rules, but stretched just a little. If there are holes then it's at whoever's discretion. Either way, it has rules. Everything has rules.
Just the fact that I'm entertaining the idea of people having superpowers shows that I'm not imposing real world logic. I'm going by the rules set up in this universe and trying to explain the things that aren't explained.
And I'm never going to stop doing that. Everything has to have rules. If you'd rather not think about rules and what makes sense or doesn't make sense within the context of this fictional world then that's fine, that's your prerogative, but I do, and I will.
Even if the explanation is just 'because it's more fun that way' everything has some kind of explanation.

That, right there? That's why we don't get along, Eric.
If there's anything I need to learn it's how to ignore you.
:: Thank you, but it's never going to do any good. There's no way to reconcile our two standpoints.
