It's an event item? Everyone I had seen on the main forums that was green didn't allow viewing of items (except 'Nair, but I somehow didn't think to look there >_>). Nice to know it's more than just a silly one-time enchant-y appearance thing.

This is actually my very first animated item, believe it or not. I'm so glad they made it so that Stellarite is no longer needed.
I hope they give out more interesting Animated Items like this.

-Dessynea- Yeah, you have to quote the NPC, supposedly after he quotes you but he never quoted me and did quote someone who had quoted me so then I quoted him and it worked. You sort of randomly turn green in the forum but the item doesn't appear in your inventory until you quote him and you don't get any sort of notification, it just appears there. TtheHero Here; just quote Odanodan in the thread I made not too long ago. When you quote him, you get the animated item. When he quotes you back (it's kinda automatic, he's a bot), you'll be painted a Heroic color. Huh. I rather enjoyed that the elves in the Christmas event weren't actually bots. Too bad they didn't decide to have someone take on Odanodan as an account.

I got the rainbow animated item for my birthday from Amber heart but I never wore it animated because I didn't feel like buying Stellarite, so I too am glad they changed it.
I think I should be able to get away with not wearing green as long as I wear a tank top that shows my turtle tattoo, he is green, I think that should count. But just in case, I will wear some green Mardi Gras beads since I have nothing else.
Anyway, I am going to sleep early so I can wake up early. Good night everyone. Happy Early St. Patrick's Day!

Although if someone were behind the helm of Odanodan, I'm betting the dispensing of the item would take WAY longer. Imagine having to manually go around to ALL those threads.

I'd rather give a certain leprechaun a certain oblong object that resides in my pants, or lack thereof. heart 'Tis a fine day to celebrate the feast of old St. Pat! I swear to god I first read that as "way" and not "day." xd On another note, the green filter seems to remove everything I didn't like from my avatar, front and back. xd Too bad it takes the skin tone away, I rather liked the subtle colors there.
