And a happy new year~ Okay, I think I'm a little ahead of some of you, but it still stands.
Listen to my words, those of you who I've noticed being physically present on gaia, and anyone else within earshot of this conversation! I have forged an idea to keep us entertained while I hunt down Lunarsun, advertise, and attempt to breath life once more in to this guild!
I shall create an entirely non-canon thread where in we shall present our characters in a genre/setting unlike their own! To state that much more clearly, basically I'm suggesting we take our characters and plop them in the middle of an entirely different story/setting and see how they'd react. Of course they wouldn't have any memory of this. Like I said it's strictly non-canon. They'd simply have the same personality, appearance, and "roughly" the same history. Their Pokemon won't level, and may not even be present for the situation, or in will be confined to the circumstances of the setting.
To start things off my the first setting (if anyone is willing to jump in on this crazy a** idea) will be a cliché Japanese Boarding School like in most anime. Pokemon will not be present as Pokemon, but they can manifest in different ways based on your imagination! For instance Burnout could be present instead as an Antique Lantern Jasmine talks to for unknown reasons! Fable could be Raven's pet Salamander/Lizard which rides around on his shoulder. Culann could be yet another voice in Vanni's head! (Or Gillies...which could be either horrendous or hilarious!).
(terrible references aside, this sound like a fun plan! I'm all for non-canon alternate universe chicanery; they're always fun, and nice changes of pace. This also means Rozalinda is probably Raven's cactus that either talksto him while he's sleeping or appears to teleport randomly so that she's always underfoot. Also, Valkyrie might be Momo's particularly pugnacious rabbit/cat/ferret.)

Now I just get this sudden image of Raven having a bad history with cacti, like every time he gets hurt or in an accident a Cactus is somehow at fault in this world. Requiem would clearly be referenced via radio cameos I have realized. Obviously one does not need to attempt and include all their Pokemon. In fact attempting to could quite easily turn in to something utterly absurd. Of course they wouldn't need to be a fixture I supposed, they could also just get a minor reference as the setting of the story will basically randomly change every few weeks. Not always via my intervention.

And certainly about not including everyone, 'twas just random fleeting ideas before I fell asleep! Requiem being a music star is A+... which inclines me to make Gilles a porn star, or worse, an anime. And I'm all for randomly changing universe at the whim! Throw them all into an epic fantasy-verse!
