Also, I actually have to pay attention in this area because for some reason, they have types that are both weak to the 'mon I'm training and types that resist/have immunity in the same area.

....Is there nowhere better to train, and if there isn't, why train when you could probably beat whatever you need to beat to move on and find yourself a better spot?

There probably is, and I'm not too sure why honestly. It's a bad habit I have. Level grinding early on is a good idea, but then I feel like I have to do it before every major point (Gym Leaders). I could probably thrash the Ice leader with Gigalith alone at this point, truthfully.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I always feel obligated to hit a certain level before I take on the first gym (or in some cases even catch my first Pokemon.) But the series is pretty good about providing enough Trainers to keep you up without doing too much training on your own, so if you're doing it this late in the game I hope you're at least trying to stack up EVs of some sort.

I'll probably re-think my game plan and just get my newcomers up to L40, and then 45 through the trainers.

Although because of my habit, I actually blew through every Gym except one, which fittingly was the Ground Gym to counter my ever so favorite Rock types. I had to play a little dirty to beat that damn Exadrill. Leech Seed from Serperior, and then Iron Defense up to max before spamming Strength was how Gigalith made it through in one piece.

Also, now we need a Bibarel with shades and a briefcase.

Saw the videos already. Technically, the Earthquakes were first and caused the Tsunami waves. But yea. Full sized boats, houses, and even flaming patches of debris were riding the waves as far in as the farmlands.

Well that is what typically causes a tsunami. XD

Though it is really disheartening to watch. People trapped in burning skyscrapers and s**t. How many major earthquakes have we had in the last few years? I am expecting a new mountain to rise out of the ocean or some s**t. I live RIGHT in the middle of the split of the New Madrid fault. I am shitting my pants here.

Mizu and I are on the San Andreas fault, so yea.

Earthquakes just seem to be really rare over here (at least the ones yu can feel). I think we had like 2 noticeable ones last year and that was it.
