She stood, craning her neck to look up at him. She wouldn't back down. "The same amount of years she's been smacking him around. The abuse it only one sided when she allows it. Don't forget Harley's the only villain who came closest to killing Batman, and she would have if she wasn't so worried about her little puddin'. Harley's one blond you just don't mess with."
She pushed past him walking to her bedroom. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to take a shower."
Me: me too, brb.

Myra: -_-***** I have a question...... *picks up remains of pole* Would you like to die now, or right now......?
*from spot on couch* I would run, Edge. She can hurt you with that pole in ways it hurts just to think about.......

Nightmare rolled his eyes "the hamster in her wheel only runs half the time."
Edge looked at Ivy, then to Myra, then back to Ivy "me too." He followed Ivy and Haur into the girl's shower room.

"How did he...?"
Rule of cool. Same as the cross-continuity memories you have. You weren't this awesome in the DCU because you thought you were a young man. Of course, some have no capacity for making the distinction. Others just like to talk a big game.
Tom was too busy laughing to comment.

Nightmare looked over at Clockwork and Tom "one of you controls time and space and you think the Green Arrow of throwing knives is overpowered?"

"Time and space have rules that must be followed."
"So do knives."
"We don't break the rules of time and space."
"Just as Arrow doesn't knock out Superman with his arrows. Nor do his arrows penetrate steel."
"Even with, like, a super heavy pull bow. Even though that would TOTALLY raise him some cool points. If you think about it though, wasn't his sidekick, like, addicted to heroine or something? I wouldn't go around calling myself the Green Arrow of anything."

Nightmare was about to retort when his cellphone buzzed from a text message "Edge says 'you've got a point and wasn't GA a ***** anyway?' Ok he's got a point there." His phone buzzed again "he says 'only my training blades are steel, the rest of my blades are either plastic, titanium, or Nth metal. And don't forget I'm a master at many different types of swords as well.' That makes me wonder, if Green Arrow was a master with a bow, would he suck with a crossbow?"
Huntress nodded "a crossbow isn't like a bow at all, if anything its more like a rifle."

But there are fundamental similarities. Green Arrow would probably be damn good with a crossbow. Even someone who has never shot one before could probably hit something with one. But Arrow has experience with aiming and adjusting, accounting for things like windspeed and direction almost instinctually, that a novice would not.
But then again, the crossbow is much more unwieldy than the longbow and takes much longer to load. In that way, the longbow is more like the rifle, while the crossbow is like a cannon.

Edge followed Haur and Ivy out "I didn't touch anything."
Nightmare looked back at Edge "how could you text me from in there?"
Edge held up his phone "its in a waterproof seal."
Huntress shook her head "a better comparison would be 'the bow is the assult rifle of medeaval weaponry but the crossbow is the sniper rifle', it take longer to load with most designs, but in the right hands whatever gets hit by the bolt isn't getting back up when it hits its mark. Plus its more accurate then a bow."

Ivy stomped out in a thin silk robe her hair, lightly damp. "Alright damn it, I'm going to find you a woman if it kills me!" She grabbed Huntress and pushed her to him. "Here! She's hot, she's feisty, and she can take a damn good beating and get up for more! She's also kinky."
Me: *pounces Question* ^.^

Question cleared his throat.
Edge looked at Huntress then back to Question. Very gently he pushed Huntress back to Question "as a general rule I don't mess with crazies."
Huntress huffed "who said I was crazy?"
Question lightly patted Haur "I think he was talking to me."
Edge nodded and put his arm around Ivy "oh this is really soft."

Feh, analogies. I just know that if you had a bunch of guys with longbows and a bunch of guys with crossbows and you stood them on a field and told them to kill each other, the bowmen will have rained a hail of arrows on the crossbowmen before they'd even loaded their weapons.
It actually happened.
Clockwork left because no one loves him.

Unless the crossbows were already loaded, in which case the bowmen would be dead before they could even knot their arrows.
