*smashes head on desk repetitively*
My mentally retarded little brother found a can of machinery lubrication oil and cut it open with a pair of scissors in my kitchen. The oil sprayed all over the stove and kitchen counters, destroying every single plastic thing it touched (plastic absorbs the toxic oil).
Amongst other things, my boyfriend's entire cooking utensil set was ruined as well as the plastic-handled silverware I bought for my late grandma and the cup I got in Waikiki.
My mom punished my brother with a slap on the wrist and I'm looking at a 5% chance she will spend money to replace the things that were destroyed.
I just got done cutting and peeling potatoes with a butter knife in order to make stew...

So i don't need to quit and find a new job. they will even ship my computers that i work on to my new place. im sooooo happy whee That is great to hear! Sounds like an awesome place to work at. well, like every place it has its ups and downs. i have a feeling that if i would have brought up me moving a few months back i would have been told that i cannot work from hawaii.. but in the past few months we lost 3 people in our group and they really cant afford to lose anyone else. so, without meaning too, i kinda picked a good time to tell them lol. *yawns* well, i should head to bed... another full day of work tomorrow.

I so want to live in Hawai'i...
I was hoping my parents would give me a trip to Hawai'i as a combined Christmas/Birthday/College Graduation present, but alas, we're too poor.
While you're there, please go to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, and, along with enjoying the scenery and paying your respects to Pele, find out for me the price of a very simple outdoor wedding at Volcano House and if I'm allowed to bring in real flower lei (and if so, which plant species) for the wedding party to wear.
Edit: Can someone tell me how to properly write my full name (Miriam Binda, e.g. mirror-ee-am bin-dah) in Japanese katakana? I'm updating my e-mail signature and want to write my name in the multiple languages I'm interested in, including Japanese, Latin, Hawaiian, and Inuktitut.
Another Edit: And while I'm at it, Kari, if you need any help learning some Hawaiian, I'll gladly provide. Because even if you don't talk to any locals you'll still have to deal with street and place names, and it'd be much easier if you knew how to pronounce them.

*Stretches and finished her Cheerios off* Well, I've started my diet again this Monday, and I've been going to the gym every day to get some cardio in the mornings. I can honestly say that it's made me feel so much better because of which. Been taking multi-vitamins too, which seems to also be helping my headaches a bit 9.< My back, sadly, hasn't gotten at better though.
And I'm just know noticing that I haven't gotten a call back from the neurologist yet on my EEG and x-rays X'D Maybe I should call? lol
@Miri- Oh man, thats so not cool on the kitchen incident :'O I would have flipped a few times over it >.>;;
@Kari- Yaaaay~! Thats so awesome hun ^___^ High five for great timing on the fly X'D!!

My brother has been REALLY bad lately. He cuts spray cans open to make them explode (like... cans of oil) , peels labels off of anything that has them (like medicine bottles), empties and washes out bottles that contain liquids (like dish soap), and goes in the fridge and licks the tops of containers (like ketchup bottles) so no one else can use them.
He knows he's being bad, but he also knows he can get away with it, which is why he does it whenever someone takes their eye off him. My mom doesn't know how to disipline him properly.
I love my brother, but I can't wait until they put him in the group home they're setting up for him so I don't have to deal with him destroying everything I own for the fun of it...

Miriam The Bat Can someone tell me how to properly write my full name (Miriam Binda, e.g. mirror-ee-am bin-dah) in Japanese katakana? I'm updating my e-mail signature and want to write my name in the multiple languages I'm interested in, including Japanese, Latin, Hawaiian, and Inuktitut. ミリアム ビンダMi-ri-a-mu Bi-n-da. In the "n" character (ン) the long stroke is written from bottom to top and the short stroke is written more horizontally than vertically. This is important so it is not confused with a different, very similar, character.

Lucca Ashtear ミリアム ビンダ Mi-ri-a-mu Bi-n-da. Is it really that easy? I always got confused, thinking I needed vowel extenders and little tsu's everywhere for it's closest equivalent pronounciation. Or maybe that's trying too hard... Thanks smile

Thanks smile Your name is quite simple. Mine would be Hirarii Rokkuhaato. That has two vowel extenders and a little tsu.
