Yokou had to admit, however grudgingly, that it was quiet around without Shikamori and sensei... No, wait. What was she thinking, wishing for such a dangerous thing? If those two were here, they would be bickering away over some minor factor of the day...probably ending with Zephyr summoning another obelisk fist, and with the Nara hospitalized all over again... Not to mention, a chance for Konoha to incur more debt from Iwa. With sensei as the head honcho...honestly, Yokou was worried. The last time she had checked, her divinations had revealed an alarming 'Konoha will go bankrupt in less than a year...'
Now, Hyuuga divinations tended to be very accurate... Of course, that means they could be wrong. Could be. But Yokou was rarely wrong when it comes to divining... The Hyuuga leader paled. Should she really leave Zephyr alone to his whims? Kami-sama knows what could happen...
The purple lines of depression that seemed to be floating above the Hyuuga woman's head seemed to darken, before turning into black... Elruda is heading back to Ame... Inner Yokou theatrically sobbed while outer Yokou assured that the Hyuuga princess would be happier with her sensei. But still, her little girl - !
Yokou stopped short and slowly cast a glance aside. She glared at the edifice. Her feet had taken her straight to the hospital? No thank you, she doesn't think that any psychiatrist could heal her broken heart... Ah, whatever. A visit couldn't hurt, anyways...
What Yokou saw in the main hall made her stop cold.
"Hurry!" Shouted one of the nurses tending to a young, pale-haired boy of twelve. "Start healing him, while transporting the child to the emergency room!" That kid... She knew him! "Sensei, the frostbite's spreading!" Yelled one young doctor-in-training, fighting a failing battle against keeping the frostbite from reaching the boy's heart. "All of you, do whatever you can to keep the spreading away from his heart!" Ordered an older doctor.
Cp: 2675/2738
Tiger. "Byakugan." The familiar veins of her doujutsu crept around her eyes and her vision darkened. Yokou followed with a flurry of handseals, before her right palm glowed a mystic green. She didn't ask for permission to help, but neither did the doctors stop her: after all, she had saved another child of Iwa's before. She placed her right palm over the boy's heart, before gently placing her left palm above it, channeling a constant flow of chakra into the technique.
Hyouton kekkai genkai... Well, what do you know. It would appear Zephyr was quite talented in picking out the most promising shinobi... And to think, that nearly extinct limit, here among the mountains... The Hyouton manifestation was fresh, it would seemed that it was recent that the boy had awakened the true nature of his power... But this Hyouton branch seems different, too, from the type she had once seen in Konoha...
A power backlash? Her eyes narrowed, focusing on the boy's chakra system even more. Interesting...that chakra already has an affinity...and molding was not even done... Yokou mused. Or perhaps...his body naturally molds that chakra, continuously...a double-edged limit. That would mean there was a way this child normally neutralizes that dangerous chakra... Yokou's eyes flickered to the gauntlets. Chakra repressants? However, they're no longer sufficient... The child's chakra system had long passed the limit those gauntlets could filter. Which would mean one thing...
The child has impressive chakra control but sustaining serious injuries would mean forfeiting that control...and his Hyouton would run rampant. Then... The doctors behind her protested as she moved her hands away from the child's heart. She ignored them however, there is exactly one moment she has to close the child's injuries, before the frosty spread close in to his heart again...
To quicken the procedure, she healed along the child's chakra system, forcing the injuries to heal from the inside out...using her fire element chakra to interfere with the Hyouton-based chakra... Medical attention was received quickly, his veins should not suffer sustaining damage... Yokou noted. Just as she had suspected...closing the wounds slowed the spreading frostbite.
But then, she was faced with a dilemma. She could isolate the rampant Hyouton chakra, but she couldn't keep it in place. Left alone, with the child unconscious, it might start spreading again... And that was no risk a medic would take. Then, she'll just have to draw out the additional chakra directly.
... The doctors around her were alarmed now, as the frostbite began spreading from Yokou's fingertips to above her hand. Yet, the Hyuuga leader remained calm, concentrating only on the task at hand. Her target was drawn out quickly and Yokou allowed the unwanted extra chakra to dissipate into the air. She didn't make contact for very long, so there was only some skin injuries to heal. But she could take care of that afterwards.
Now that the spread was gone, she focused on healing the boy's injured skin. From where warm chakra spread from her hands, the ice retreated, before decomposing into water. Yokou was careful coaxing the skin tissue back to life: any mistake here, and frostbite damage would remain irreversible. With the help of her Byakugan, she guided her chakra to healing the cells right from their chakra forging threads...
Several minutes later, the green glow from her hands disappeared and Yokou sighed, a soft sigh of relief. Surprisingly...that was actually a tricky treatment... As she repeated the seals and began healing her hands, the crowd of watching medics began whispering to one another.
Shosen Jutsu By concentrating chakra to the hand, the user is able to cure wounds by focusing their own chakra to where the critical injuries lie, healing them in the process. This jutsu, however, uses up a high amount of chakra. This may also be utilized as the Chakra Enjintou and Chakra no Mesu, or the chakra scalpel for that matter - in order to sever the opponent's muscle fibers at the point of contact. Rank: A Cp cost: 60 + 10 per 20 Hp healed Damage: N/A *Combat scalpel: Same as common taijutsu damage but adds chakra modifier instead of str modifier. Affected victim must roll a reflex save (DC: your attack roll) to avoid inner bleeding, should the inner bleeding check fail the victim shall lose 3 Hp per round per time hit. Also depending on the area you are hit you might receive extra penalties. Such as -10 attack roll and damage for arm and leg wounds. Requirements: Treat Injury 50 ranks, Chakra Control 70 Training days: 15 days. Special: If used as a combat Scalpel, user must beat defendants’ Dodge Bonus by at least 10 points to cut muscle fibers in area hit. Defender cannot use affected area until healed or for 10 turns.

Several hours later, the younger doctors were still talking about what had passed earlier that day. "Did you see that? Konoha's medical mastery is as impressive as ever." Another replied: "I don't think she saw Hyouton either...her chakra changed slightly when the frost spread to her hands... But...so calm..." But yet another scoffed: "That was dangerous, entrusting our patient to an unknown! Did you see how she moved her hands away from the child's heart? What if that child's heart had stopped first?" The first seemed thoughtful. "Actually, she healed another kid who was close to death a few days ago. I don't think so..." He replied. "Her chakra affinity must've been an opposite, to counter the rampant Hyouton chakra so... Must've been Katon type. That would've left at least left a couple of seconds, keeping Hyouton at bay." The second spoke again. "But is it really ok to leave the kid? What if his kekkai genkai goes awry again?"
"That's why the Hyuuga lady kept channeling chakra for a few minutes afterwards, right? To stabilize I believe..." Replied the first. "She seemed pretty satisfied afterwards...but that's strange...the only way, is that if that kid could already control his chakra to a good degree, even unconscious." The second checked the monitor. "Heart rate normal. Hm...I wouldn't be too surprised. Those from ancient families tend to concentrate on control early...and most certainly if they have a dangerous chakra type...like this kid's..."
"Well..." Said the third. "The kid didn't die, so we won't have to face either his sensei or Lord Tsuchikage. I suppose that's a blessing, anyhow." The other two shuddered in agreement. If there was two shinobis' annoyance they didn't want to deal with, Marcus and Giglamesh were on top of that list...

"Time to eat already?" Muttered one of the doctors, noticing the clock. "Come." He told the others. "Let's go eat. The nurses will bring the kid his food."
A few hours later...
When the doctors returned to the floor, a nurse's scream resounded through the hall. They quickly rushed to the source: the Hyouton patient's room. The tray of food the nurse had been carrying was now a mess on the ground...apparently dropped at the shock of her realization.
The child was gone, the window open.

Emily Marneth Hitomi fell back on procedures. On years of training and habit. She knew to answer. She gave all the facts. I used to be a prostitute. When I was twelve years old... I became pregnant. I don't know exactly how far along I was, but we knew for a certainty... The man who owned and ran us didn't take too well to the idea of losing any income... I was-- stabbed and beaten. It terminated my pregnancy... My stomach hurts... and I haven't had a period since." Unemotional. Cold. Static facts. They were the things on which she could rely. She sighed, looking to Keiko for strength. Sato looked back at Keiko with sad eyes, "Why didn't you bring her earlier?" His voice was clam but tense. Keiko's eyes shined with hope to Hitomi and then darkness when she looked to Sato. She bowed, "I'm sorry sensei. I've known her for a long time, her secrets were kept like mine, and just recently I've lost track of her." She stood up and pulled down her skirt, "She came back. She was looking for help, somewhere to turn, someone to turn too." Keiko stopped, looking for words, but instead smelled Giglamesh's blood. She pushed the thoughts out of her mind, first Hitomi.
Sato frowned at Keiko, he was deep in thought, trying to figure out what to do. His eyes twitched and his back straighten, he took a breath, "Surgery. Then birth control." Keiko walked over to Hitomi and held her hand. Sato looked at Keiko, "We will talk about costs later Keiko. For now, the surgery will be in a day or two." Walking out of the room Sato looked at Keiko, "Don't let her leave."

Hitomi was in a cage. But she didn't care. She just watched the floor. She felt a pressure building behind her eyes, and she focused all of her attention on this burning sensation. She watched as one tear fell, coaxed out of her like a mouse out of its hole. This time, though, she watched two more fall... This time... They didn't stop. she swallowed against an already sore throat. "Nevermore. I guess it's really true, isn't it?"

((ok....there will be errors...im drunk....well feeling very good...walked to liquor store like 6 blocks....ended up back home with a 2 pack XD)) From keiko's and hitmoi's room several protrusions would emerge from the walls, but they would shape oddly in to boxes with round circles centered in them, they were speakers. Suddenly the rhythm to Van Halens-"Hot for teacher." would begin to play, then as the beat picked up sakura blossoms would begin to spiral around the room, then as the beat began to slow down giglamesh would begin to rise from the center of the room out from the ground. Then as the lyrics began to play giglamehs would sing along with them directly facing keiko as if sayign it exactly matching the lyrics to the song and timeing of such. "T-t-teacher stop that screaming, teacher dont you see ? Dont wanna be no uptown fool. Maybe I should go to hell, but Im doin well,Teacher needs to see me after school. I think of all the education that I missed. But then my homework was never quite like this. Got it bad, got it bad, got it bad, Im hot for teacher. I got it bad, sooooo baaaaaad, Im hot for teacher." Gig would even match the the dance to the exact step that eddy van halen did on stage (durring the suit part the one danceing by self.) Then suddenly giglamehs would again the actualy song lyrics again and not just the talking. "I heard about your lessons, but lessons are so cold. I know about this school. Little girl from cherry lane, how did you get so bold? How did you know that golden rule? Got it bad, got it bad, got it bad, Im hot for teacher. I got it bad, sooooo baaaaaad, Im hot for teacher!" Giuglamesh would again dance to the music and torwards the end he would slide on hos knees across the hospital floor room in front of keiko, then he would take her hand. "happy anniversary Keiko!" He kissed her hand, and his entire left arm was wraped in guaze, but what he was danceign and makeing a fool of himself for was that this was the day giglamesh had met keiko in the academy three years ago. Why did he make a fool of himself because he cared for her, may of had a little to drink to kill pain from the mission he completed, but none the less he cared for her....and not only was the song and what he sung heard in room but all threw hospital threw the mic he had atached to ear and out in front of mouth, everbody heard everything he said. Biut then giglamesh's eye got wide and he looked around at sato, and hitomi....all seemed incredibly serious look on there faces. Which he may of greatly jsut ruined...he would stand rapidly and hold arms behidne back next to kei and clear his throat and stand there like nothing happened. "....as you were!"

Keiko became very red as Giglamesh came through the door. As he sung and danced, she gave a slight smile, as he kissed her hand she pulled away. She knew if he saw the ring removed from her finger he would be upset and saddened.
Why? Did everything have a purpose? Why was life full of choices? Keiko's eyes kept away from, she kept her focus on Hitomi. This was her time to get better, her time to have a new light, after everything was said and done she would figure out her own life.
"Hitomi, you should get some rest." She walked over to the bed and held her hand in support. You are strong. You will pull through this. I'm behind you 100%."

Hitomi closed her eyes, squeezing Keiko's hand to soak as much support as she possibly could from her. And then she noticed exactly what Keiko noticed. Gig wouldn't have noticed, yet... "Keiko-sama... I left Kon~kou at the academy... Could you go there and give her this?" Hitomi reached up and took off her headband, placing it in Keiko's left hand. She smiled at her, and turned to Gig. "I'm sorry to be a bother, Giglamesh-sama, but would you mind staying with me? I don't want to be alone... Besides... We wouldn't want me to run away." She couldn't send Gig after Kon, nor would she have wanted to, because Gig very openly hated birds... Keiko was the only other choice. She looked between the two of them. "Please?"

Giglamesh did see the ring was missing, but he knew, or atleast hoped, it was for good reason for it to be removed temporarily. As giglamesh stood there he wassent sure what was going on, but he had some place to be, but he could be in several places at once he was that good. He would do a few hand chakra seals and then return his arms to behind his back and he would nod to hitomi. "Of course..." He never looked away from hitomi so he never once shown signs of needed to be somewhere else, so she would have no clue as no traces of a prior engagement were noticeable. It would just seem like gig had nothing better to do than await there with kei, which he certainly wouldn't say that way as not to hurt her feelings.

Keiko smiled, the fakeness it was coming back. The lies and the hiding of things it was all coming back, like a old addiction. She was making sure that she looked strong and beautiful, that she had no flaws. She smiled at Hitmoi, her mind was racing, oh how she hated the fakeness. "I will be glad too."
Keiko walked out the door and into the hallway, taking a deep breath. She noticed Sato and Sato noticed her. He knew, she was become just as before.

Hitomi let the hurt show through her eyes for just under a second, and then a completely different hurt flashed into her eyes. She grit her teeth, leaning forward to avoid curling into a ball. "Thank you, Gig..." Her eyes were closed and she swallowed hard. "you do- n't have to stay. If you don't want to... I have at least fifteen minutes... of company..." Every muscle in her body was clenched tight, half trying to curl her up, the other half forcing her to stay up. She'd been waiting for Keiko to leave. It wasn't worth hurting her for no reason. Giglamesh, though, she felt like she didn't need to pretend with... He was probably as aware of her pain as she was... It bled into her voice. "Tell Sato-sensei I'm not going anywhere."

He was fully aware of the pain she was bearing, as she had a heavy breathing the entire time kei was in the room. She breathed as if trying to repress pain, much as he was doing at the moment, but he breathing increase was so feint he listening skills as well as vision would have to be much higher than his to realize it. Giglamesh was in the room with hitomi...and nothing but silence surrounded the two of them. The tension was so immense that it could be cut, it was dreadful, the only thin g giglamesh would think of was that he wanted a cig, but for kei and mai he was trying incredibly hard to stop and was doing good thus far...but situations like that made it very hard. Giglamesh would walk over to the chair of which kei was sitting slide it away from the wall and sit in it only to lean back against the wall. He would reach to the inside of his sleeveless coat and remove a apple and begin eating it to replace the craving for nicotine. He would eat it with his eye closed not saying a word, it was to hard for him to talk to her as he still belives this pain she has is because of his error.

"It's not your fault. None of it is. This is completely different. I promise. Unless you can travel a couple hundred miles in a day, without know who I was, you wouldn't have been able to help this. In fact, I want to thank you for catching that thing right when you did." She laid herself back on the bed, closing her eyes again. "If you had caught it any sooner, I would have hated you for it. There would have been no retest, and I would have died. If- If you hadn't have stopped it... It would have ripped my brachial and most likely my axillary out, and I would have died. Somewhere --I don't know if it was fate, or just your natural intuition-- you knew exactly when it needed to be done. And don't worry about it... I'll soon have a new one, anyway." She gave a small smile, drawing the blanket around her to hide the tremors that were racking her abdomen and arm. She took a deep breath and managed to silence them temporarily. "I'll tell you what. I'll forgive you, and you can get rid of this guilt. On one condition." She looked directly at him. "You promise to always treat her right." Hitomi knew that he always would. But maybe this could get him to drop the idea that it was his fault that she had a handicap she had already pretty much adapted to. He should have noticed that in their fight. She held her gaze locked on him.

The apple would literally explode, As she mentioned the scene of the last genin exam. A black aura embraced his eye and his head tilted forward."....You belive that......it wassent just for you but for my self also.....you would not of died if i moved faster you would been in full health, and one wouldn't not of had to deal with so much pain so early in your life....you wouldn't of died if i had acted when i should have it never would of touched you! ......but for my self is why this pains me so much.....i made a error and that is the end of it...forgive me....before i can accept that and not tarnish your forgiveness i must forgive my self.............treat her right hunh.....heh i need no promise that to any body, my family is the single most important thing to me and nothing can change that." Giglamesh's right shoulder wound and hole threw his hand both on left arm, as he wuld tense up dwelling on the memory of what happened again. But he woudlnt let it haunt him he would shake it from his thoughts and mind, and he would tilt back agaisnt the wall again crossing his arms looking back to hitomi, he had no clue of why she was here but he recognized the visitor.
Once again the unknow thing concealed in a black tattered coat that was completely concealed would appear, it was located in the now open window. What was it and why was it following hitomi? Why exactly did giglamesh seem to know what it was for that matter, many questions would proably ircle threw hitomi's head about this mysterious thing.

Keiko ran through the village, getting back to the hospital in recorded time.
Life is full of choices. You either dive into the deep end, or you spend the rest of your life in the shallow end. I've jumped into the deep end before and swam back to the shallow end...I've realized that I don't like it. I'm ready to jump back into the deep end. I must shed this fakeness, I must stop this old habit of hiding myself.
Fake. Hopelessness. Black.
I wasn't those things for three years, what made me change? Not seeing Giglamesh every day?
Being alone? Feeling alone? Is he that important to me? Of course he is. He is the one that makes me feel...pain, love, passion.
Emotions. Why?
Everything confused her, maybe it was time just to talk to him, tell him how she felt. However, she knew, she knew that she was keeping him from something. She slid the ring on her finger, beautiful as the first day she set eyes on it.
Maybe she was wrong, wrong about life and herself. Who knew, all she knew is that she wanted Giglamesh again and her feet to stop hurting. She took off her heals and walked into the cold hospital. The nurse at the desk gave her a weird look as she walked pass to go up the stairs.
Keiko made it to the third floor, it was too soon to go back into that room. She didn't want to admit that she was wrong, but she didn't want to lose the man that she fell in love with three years ago. The one that understands her the most...besides Kinami.
Keiko hit her head when she came to the door, she was debating on whether to go in or just stay out.
Jump.
She pushed the door open, and she smiled, "Eh, sorry it took me so long, there was something going on in the village." Ha, that was lie, this was going great, the whole no lying part failed in seconds. She shut the door behind her and walked over to Hitomi and took her hand, "Hey, do you mind if I steal Giglamesh for a second?" Keiko looked at Giglamesh with her big sparking eyes for the first time in awhile.
