(And the Beastmen once were in 40K as well, i didn't say anything about Fantasy, were both Beastmen and Dwarves are institutions, by now .... )

Beastmen were auxiliaries used during the Horus Heresy, but fallen out of grace with the Imperium and the Squats have long since been wiped out by the Tyranids.
Come to think of it, the Servants of Slaughter army found in one of the Imperial Armour Vraks books has beastmen as a troops choice, mainly as cheap cannon fodder if I remember correctly. So I guess they are still there, but as something found in the ranks of Chaos, not the Imperium as atonement seeking mutants.

Bloodgor Beastman attack squad...6 points per model.
Bloodgor 3 2 3 4 1 3 1 6 6+ Packmaster 3 2 3 4 1 3 2 7 6+
Composition: 10-20 Beastmen
Unit type: Infantry
Wargear: two close combat weapons
Special Rules: Furious Charge, Battle Lust
Options: Any model may replace one close combat weapon with a lasgun, autogun or laspistol for +1 point.
The entire squad may have frags for +1 point per model.
One Beastman may be upgraded to Packmaster for +6 points
The Packmaster may replace a ccw with: laspistol +1 point plasma pistol +10 points

...... I could continue to argue, but it would seem to just be semantics on my part, and this Thread is on Daemonhunters anyway, so to continue arguing on my part, on the "Beastman Issue" would also be off Topic. .......................... Well, i guess we'll see within a year where they are going with the Inquisition & Associates ...... or maybe it takes longer.

It doesn't matter what the "argument" was.
It is done now. We shall continue with the "as planned" thread.
That said, while we're talking rumors, who has a Daemonhunters wishlist/rumor list?
One thing that I heard was that we might get Grey Knight Assault Marines. More than a grain of salt with it, but I think that would make for a damn terrifying assault unit.
The other one that I heard (as a part of fluff from the Blood Angel book) is that Grey Knights will be getting the Stormraven as a transport option.
As far as named characters go, I bet that the trend will be continued with a named Justicar/Brother Captain upgrade character along with another Inquisitor character.
Probably Land Raider variants with Psycannons instead of the Heavy Bolters/Assault Cannons and Incinerators in lieu of Flame Storm cannons. Those were put forth by Forge World though, so I cannot take credit.

Let's see, here's what I think they'll put out and hope for:
- GK power armour plastic boxed set with ten models and both assault weapon options - GK Terminator plastic boxed set with five models and all assault weapon options - A boxed set containing a metal squad of something very good on the tabletop - Two or three blisters with special characters, including a Justicar, chaplain and inquisitor - "Official" inclusion of the FW variant vehicles, maybe a special upgrade sprue that allows for such conversions to be done, including Dreadnoughts

my bets are: GK in PA - probably 5, unless they are nerfed and cost less points GK termies - 5 inquisitor and retinue GK vehicle conversion set all in plastic, save perhaps inquisitor and retinue and of course Storm Raven, meant to nerf all the melta spam smile and new metal Brother - Captain Stern - his fluff is too good to not use!

A pure Miniatures Wishlist from me: Multipart Plastic Battle Sisters Inquisitor with Retinue Multipart Plastic "Inquisitorial Additions" (To add to Space Marine, Imperial Guard and even Fantasy Human, Bodies.) Better looking Death Cult Assassins

I'm more interested in what the codex might give us. Most probably powered down Grey Knights so we can take more of them.

Hmmm, they might take NFW down to add just +1 Str, maybe. I think they'll keep Aegis Armour, maybe not The Shrouding. I definitely think they'll make the Grand Master at least Chapter Master status or maybe even higher, seeing as how Grand Masters are much more awesome than them. Brother Captains may have 2 wounds? Possibility?
