If there was one thing Troden hated more than when he was surprised, he wouldn't know it. Not at that moment. He growled before backing off, "This is only the beginning Lina. When the time is right, I will destroy you and all how oppose the Cause." he said as he walked out of the hallway and through the bar entrance.

Lina watched him leave until she didn't feel his presence any longer before visibly weakening, even though she still stood, "Let's go." she said softly.

Remus relaxed visibly as Troden left, glad that they're bluff had worked. "Nice thinking Lina..." He moved towards the door, stumbling a little before catching himself. "I'm not sure how else we could've survived that."

"We wouldn't have," Lina said simply before gesturing for Rikku to follow, "I am glad the Rajen leader understood atleast part of the book, or else we would be dead." she then walked out the door, slowly, but still urgent.

Picking up Lina's sense of urgency, Remus felt a little of his strength return and he hurried after her. He kept watching for any surprises that might jump out at them, but he didn't think they'd have to worry at this point.

The wall that was unfortunately infront of him suddenly was pierced by Troden's fist as he continued to yell at his men, "Why wasn't I informed about this?"
"Sir..." one of them began.
"No!" Troden snarled raising his hand slightly, "Don't speak, just listen. I was just informed by the Lotus leader herself about Lotan's awakening."
"But sir..." another replied, who was then thrown across the room.
"This is why I have no patience!" Troden snapped, lowering his arm.

She lead them through a series of alleys, all of them having the Lotus symbol at the entrance and exit. When she finally stopped, they were infront of a small building, much like the bar in appearance, but the atmosphere was much more modest, "This one of the smaller hideouts my people created. It has easily melded with the times as you can see, but it's hidden magic has not faltered. The shield around it will protect us from prying eyes." and with that she moved towards the building.

The remaining men looked at each other knowlingly before leaving the room without another word. The whole base knew how their leader was when angry..it just wasn't any use to reason with him until he was silently fuming. Maybe, just maybe, he would listen then. The sound of another wall being punctured reminded them to quicken their pace. They had to make sure what Lina said was true...before Troden found out.

She laughed once again, but this time it was true, "I hope not...vampires aren't supposed to age." she then entered a room containing food, and couches to rest on, much like a Roman living room (triclinium), "I think we deserve this momentary rest before the true test begins don't you think?" she asked, sitting down on one of the couches.

Lina thought for a moment before nodding, "Yes we shall. The others will know where Lotan's tomb is and will be there before we do probably." she then looked at him before saying, "It's seems my calculations were wrong about when the moon will become completely red. I believe tomorrow or less will be the time."

Remus nodded thoughtfully. "I think we can manage." He shifted to his wolf form where he sat, and laid down next to her, his paw resting on her leg.
