Astaroth hurried, disliking that he'd fallen behind while lost in thought. Watching the doors as he passed by, he smiled slightly when he caught sight of a gaggle of students clustered around the door. The smile quickly turned into a frown as they refused to move from the door and into the classroom proper.
Adjusting his bag, he deftly weaved his way through those around and paused momentarily not to dazzle at the lights - he'd seen the glow on their bodies as he'd approached and had assumed something was giving them pause - but to scan the assembled desks and students for the familiar face of Danna. While he wasn't adverse to meeting others, they'd started off poorly in his eyes. Clogging up the doorway was a surefire way to make others late.
A glimmering green caught his attention and he turned to find that he'd spotted Danna. Smiling, he padded silently over to stand just behind her left shoulder before allowing himself to truly look at the room. It was spectacular and appealed to his sense of logic, the smooth lines and connecting patterns seemed to dance before his eyes and it inspired him. One day he would be this precise; his exact and perfect. He smiled as made a promise to himself that he would bring that perfection to bear in his pursuits, especially that of magic.

Cash, who was still with Lior, wrinkled his nose at the sight of all the math and ... well, all the math. This he was not looking forward to. Still, it wasn't fair of him to immediately write off the class as boring. Certainly, the professor was interesting-looking enough. "Neh... Do you mind if I sit with you, Lior?" Antigone walked with Aysel, purring to her lover softly. "I'll need you to keep me awake, dearling," she said with a soft laugh, golden eyes dancing with good humor. "So I suppose that means we should set up front too. I'll want to be on my best behavior for teachers, in case they've heard of my... walking out, so to speak." Blayk was making her way towards the next class as well, her bag slung about her strong shoulders. Her smooth olive-toned skin looked almost... out of place, among all the others. Running a strong, long-fingered hand through her dense brown locks, she took a seat in the middle of the room.

Aysel smiled tenderly at Antigone's purring, slipping the arm that had been previously linked with her beloved's around the girl's waist and tugging her closer for a moment, pressing an affectionate kiss to the arch of her neck. She forced herself not to comment on Anti's walk-out, knowing that it would do no good. They would only argue over it..."I shall do my very best," she murmured in response to the statement that she would need to keep the lovely sanguine awake, "But I shall also try not to distract you too much...math is an important subject, no matter how tedious it may or may not be."

"A mask?" Mat repeated, looking a bit confused for a moment. What sort of powers would a mask golem have? Hiding ... maybe? Deception of some kind? To be honest ... it sounded just a little dumb to him.
But then again, Ubel was smart. He could probably figure out how to make a mask cool. Right? The smile he offered the other was slightly unsure, but he nodded. "Uhm. I guess that would be cool."

Ubel laughed softly and reached up to ruffle Mathiaz's hair, shaking his head. "Don't worry about it, Mat," he said simply, before pulling the other into the classroom and wrinkling his nose a little, though not nearly as much as his 'brother' had. His logic was that it was something to be learned, so it was something to be tolerated. Lior looked at Cash with a bright smile, curling an arm around the other's. "I would like that!" he replied happily, purring to the other Journeyman. Then he dropped his voice to a whisper. "We can write notes to each other and try to not get in trouble."

Grave followed Ubel and Mathiaz into the classroom and found a seat beside Amelia. He smiled at her. "Hello again," He said in a whisper. "It's been a while..." GRave set about to pulling out his notebook, his inkwell, his quill. Then he stared up at all the lights and tried to copy down some of the shimmering designs, without much luck. While he was staring at the ceiling, his right hand was moving, and some of his slowly etched out lines overlapped where they shouldn't because he was not watching where he was placing his ink. Danna looked up and smiled to see Astaroth there. "You will sit with me, won't you, 'Taroth?" She asked smiling. "I'm not so sure about this class..." She gestured to the layers of glowing equations and intook a little breath. They seemed...ominous to her, somehow. She didn't know why, or what they were, but there was something about them that rubbed her the wrong way. Nevertheless, she opened her sketcher and prepared a quill with dark green ink for note-taking. Cyphr saw Astaroth approach and rolled his eyes visably. "Well boo!" He declared, seizing his rough workbook. "Now that YOUS here, Danna'll be ignering mes something wretched. I'mma sits with someones niiiiicers." Cyphr stood up, and was startled to find a line of light went right through his chest. Turning, he looked to see where it went and faithfully followed it. It lead him to an empty seat beside a green-skinned Choleric girl. She looked sturdy enough. Cyphr liked Choleric girls. He grinned from ear to ear and clammoured into the seat beside her. "Hulluh!!" Cyphr piped with friendly abandon.

Paxar sat crouched on his Draconic haunches in the center of the room, apparently unaware of the many students milling about him as they found places to sit. Paxar's talons etched and scratched in the air, and with every subtle movement of their twitching, lines of light sprung up in the air around him, lacing the air in the room with mathematical equations and diagrams.
Suddenly, as if something had caught his attention, Paxar waved a single clawed hand, and all the lines of light in the room shattered without a sound, letting sparkling dust come raining through the air to settle on whatever it touched. The dust glittered and glowed where it lay and slowly faded away to nothing. And as if he didn't even see this effect, Paxar lumbered towards the back wall of the room, and mostly facing away from the students, he began again with his etchings in the air, frech, new lines of light starting out. The new lines spread across the blank wall before the Mathematics Professor like water following preexisting grooves in an angled floor. "Yeeeessss," He hissed in murmur, "That, Andromeda, that is how it is done..."

Torrid hurried his feet to catch up with his fellows as the throng dissolved, finding himself a little behind again. He reached the door of the classroom to see the imposing image of the math professor, who seemed to be talking to himself. Torrid quirked an eyebrow at the odd sight, pausing to goggle at the lines of light, and slipped quietly into the room to cast a look about for his schoolmates.
Grave was there, along with many of his fellows, and so he decided to join them. He made his way over to Grave, who was staring at the ceiling and trying to write. Torrid grinned and took a seat next to him before greeting him with a low whisper. "Hey, cutie."

Grave smiled and leaned against Torrid happily. "I was wondering when you'd get here." Grave reached and squeezed Torrid's knee uner the table. "You haven't missed anything yet. The Professor hasn't said anything to us.... He seems a bit... out of it." Grave stared quizzically at Paxar's plated back as the professor continued to ignore the class.

Astaroth turned to Danna, nodding, and frowned as Cyphr stomped away. "Pardon me." He looked nonplussed as he took a seat and pulled the chair beside him out so that Danna might sit. He followed her gesture but found nothing strange. The perfection and order appealed to him and he said as much, adding, "Something wrong?" As he spoke the lines broke and disintegrated, cascading around them. Blinking, he caught some of the dust and watched as it faded into non-existence. Rubbing his fingers against his palm, he felt no residual dust. Odd.

"Oh yes, I'm certain math is important. I haven't come across a class yet that I didn't think was important to attend. But I have come across classes I didn't want to be in. Still... I thought Art was going to be boring, it proved otherwise, so perhaps this class will be..." Trailing off, the young Sanguine blinked golden eyes as she slid into a desk, peering curiously at the professor. "Watch him, Aysel," she whispered, as if afraid of breaking Paxar's concentration. The Phlegm Journeyman laughed, letting his fingers toy with the end Lior's braid. "Yes, that will be great fun, I'm certain." With a grin, he gestured for the other pick a seat. "Preferably near the back, hmm?" Obviously, Cash was in a good mood. Of course, Lior's sunny disposition was infectious, and for the moment, the young Phlegm boy could be at ease with who he was. At least around Li- whom he owed a kiss to, still. Well, best not to think of that right then. Startled from her half day dream and watching of professor Paxar, Blayk looked up when she heard the friendly hello from the seat beside her. Ah, Cyphr. She'd spent the Dual beside him, and had heard enough gushings from Antigone to know who the chubby Sanguine was. "Hullo, Cyphr," she greeted back with a smile, fairly sure he had forgotten her name by now. Continuing to smile, the sturdily-built Journeyman tried to think of a way to reintroduce herself without embarrassing the Sanguine.

Ubel was completely and utterly baffled. Fascinated, but baffled. And a bit unnerved. He had heard that Paxar was something to be watched out for... but, to be honest, this was just... creepy. The young Melancholic stood near the Professor for a few minutes, just watching, trying to figure out what was going on as he watched the light slide over the walls. Lior watched his older brother for a moment, before chuckling and shaking his head, moving to curl an arm around one of Cash's. "In the back, yes, that would be best," he replied, leading the other towards a pair of empty seats and gesturing for Cashimer to select whichever he pleased.

Aysel blinked curiously at Antigone when she didn't finish her sentence, but then as she slipped into the desk beside her and fixed her eyes upon the professor, she understood why. "What is he doing..?" she whispered reverently, not even mentioning the fact that Anti had said that she had thought that art class was going to be boring, of all things.

Kallisto entered the classroom with the others, frowning as a new melancholy pushed past. How... rude. Shaking her head, she moved about, trying to find a suitable seat from which she could either nap or pay attention. She glanced from Grave to Antigone and pondered who to sit with. Antigone looked like was heading for the front of the class so that ruled her out entirely. It was not a good idea to nap right in front of the teacher.
Which meant she'd with Grave and... Torrid and Amelia! She smiled happily as she settled into a seat near them. Definitely people she'd be happy to bum some help off of if this proved to be a difficult class. She hoped it wouldn't be...
"Hello guys!" She said in a quiet yet cheerful manner, "Long time no see! How've you been?" She blinked as the light broke and sifted through the air, turning to face upwards to watch the pretty substance glitter as it fell. If Professor Paxar preferred to stand at the front and do nothing of import, she was more then happy to let him. She only hoped nobody would up and ask him a question to get the class moving.

Cashimer laughed, reluctently letting go of Lior's waist and braid, and slid into a seat. "Perhaps math class won't be so boring, with you passing notes to me. Just make sure that we don't get in trouble... Professor Paxar seems... strange. Not someone I would want to test in the temper area, with such Draconian features, neh?" "I don't know," she breathed, watching the professor intently. She had met him once before, briefly... And he had left a lasting impression. "I simply don't know, Aysel." Folding her arms over her stomach, she sat back in her seat, watching him with slowly blinking eyes.
