Kaji Ryuuko I am a trumpet in teh Clackamas high school band...and I hate freshman who think they are better then you since they are in a higher chair. the reason why iI am in a lower chair is that I don't really care for being a first trumpet. It's usually the second trumpets who get the cool parts anyway. Or third trumpets, I've experienced first and third and before I got used to the first and filled my ego (most likely) I really liked the third part, especially when everyone was playing first before the auditions except for like 3 seconds and me on third whee

Number_09 Maranara Number_09 I can only reliably hit a G above the staff without having to a) force it until it's paper thin; and b) play up to it. How many years have you been playing? This is my 4th year. That's insane.
It's like what I can do,
and I've played a year less than you have.

I'm kinda of wierd, some days I play high notes excellent and others not so much, the wierd thing is it's at random...

kingbored I'm kinda of wierd, some days I play high notes excellent and others not so much, the wierd thing is it's at random... Hm... My notes always sound the same. Well, they just get better. On a bad day, when I get up above a C on the staff, It makes this weird noise. You can like only hear it if you're about a foot away from the bell, though. And that would hurt.

My trumpet is tempermental...it hates me some days so it won't play right...It might be me, but i don't care I have fun playing anyways.

So I'm very excited...I mostly nailed my audition for a slot on trumpet of basketball band. They should put up a list of people who made it either after practice on Monday, or sometime early the next day. biggrin

I get to play in my schools orchestra now....Only bad part is that a girl in that class hates me and has a cast (I must act sneaky ninja )
