It would take hours to cover every ethnicity that ever had it's own mythology and religion, days to cover the different groups in each religion etc etc... Make it easier on the people who are willing to help you- explain what you want to know and why and it can help us narrow down what information is useful. cat_3nodding

Seems like we had a white Xmas with all these hailstones being thrown around...kinda glad we only got the peanut sized ones and not the golfball sized ones...

Hellenic Paganism has tons of good sources- there's a really awesome Hellenic pagan named maenad nuri here on Gaia. You should talk to her. This website is also really good. Her husband is kind of a Norse-pagan Lite, so I include little bits I know about Norse Paganism when we do ritual together. So I kind of have a braided path- the work I do on my own, the work I do with my loves, and the work I do with the coven.

So I want to know what you guys think but I didn't want to make a thread on it 'cause its just kind of a random thought that's been playing in the back of my mind.
I kinda wanna say its Djehuty doing something but it could just be something else. But the last couple days I've been having a had time focusing on anything. That or I've been starting one thing and then getting bored and moving onto the next thing. But the whole time that was going on I wanted to go out, buy a book, and just sit down and read it. Couple times I would try to satisfy the need by looking up something online and it would work for a little bit, like I'd get lost in the reading but I still craved holding a book.
Today I was hanging out with my sister, a couple friends, and add ons(I really didn't want to hang out with them and they kept getting us in trouble). We kept trying to figure out what we were going to do and I knew we were going to be heading out this one area to go see Girl With the Dragon Tattoo(nice movie btw) and within walking distance was a Barnes & Nobles. I had the urge all day to go to the book store and once I got there I was like a little kid in a candy store. I did satisfy my urge by getting some manga to complete some of the collections I have started and I ordered Egyptian Mythology by Geraldine Pinch(yeah have Norse, Greek, Celtic, Japanese, and an overview of Africian mythology but leave out poor little Egypt cat_crying I was half tempted to buy The Poetic Edda cat_whee ). That seemed to dull the urge a little bit but I still couldn't kill the need to just sit down and read what I just bought. I was able to start a few pages when I had a little bit of peace from the add ons and I was actually able to focus despite what was going on around me. But I still couldn't completely focus much on what was going on after I had to put my book away. Still can't right now but I just wanted to check Gaia before I endulged my need.
So I'm just curious what you guys think about it

Answers.. Well there are many paths out there and I know recon's not for everyone but I was thinking maybe if you had a draw to a specific mythology that it could be a starting point.
