"Good match Lucifer. You did really well." he complimented. Thank you master. Like I said, I won't disappoint you. The echoing in Ren's head was starting to settle. He could barely notice it. It was as if Lucifer was speaking normally like a regular human being. "It's too bad you can't evolve. It'd be nice if you had an evolution." I'm sorry.... "Don't worry, it's not your fault. That's just life." Ren could hear shuffling and the scattering of feet as people nearby began to circle around the fountain. It wasn't noticeable until Ren actually looked around and saw that people were staring at him. Did he do something wrong? "I said I wanted a rematch!!!" A familiar voice struck him as he turned back and saw that same rich kid he had just beaten. "Didn't I tell you to grow up first?" "I don't care! You just got lucky. I've my top pokemon with me." "-sigh- I see you won't leave without a fight. If I beat you....AGAIN...will you leave me alone?" "Sure. But I get to pick which pokemon you use, since you think you're sooo better than me." "I never said I was better than you, I just said you needed to grow up." A smirk came across Lucifer's face. This child had no idea who he was dealing with. "Have you any idea who you're talking to?" asked the rich kid. "Uh...a rich, snobby, know-it-all who is a pompous brat?" The minute the insult was said, the crowd that had already gathered around them gasped simultaneously. "I'm the champion of this Battle Pike. Theodore Marcellus Ravenclaw, and I said I wanted a rematch. Now take out your pokemon so I can choose which one I want to battle against." This was starting to get on Ren's nerves. But what choice did he have? There was already an audience and he wanted to battle. Might as well. "-sigh- fine. Alright guys, present yourselves."
One by one, each of Ren's pokemon appeared before Theodore. "Not a very nice combination of pokemon, but I guess it can't be helped by loser's like you." "I'm sorry, but the last time I checked you were the one who lost not even ten minutes ago." With every insult, Theodore was getting irritated. Going down the line, he stopped his eyes on Poochyena. "That one. Your choice of pokemon to battle with will be that mutt right there." he said pointing at the small pup. "I'd be careful with what you say there. He may be cute, but he's tough." "Yea, we'll see about that." Theodore chuckled. Recalling the other five pokemon, both trainers took their places. Theodore tossed his pokeball up in the air releasing his pokemon. "You'll be battling my prized pokemon, Ariados." As the light that consumed the pokeomon faded away, the eight-legged pokemon stood there mercilessly. You could see the aggression in it's face. But Ren, he wasn't worried. Like every Team Aqua member, he had a trick up his sleeve.

"Now you'll see the full extent of my wrath. This is payback from our last battle." Theodore puffed his chest. This kid was just too much. Well, there was no harm in teaching this guy a thing or two. Again. "Suuurrreee." Ren teased. "Start off with String Shot!" The Ariados speedily approached Poochyena. Well, at least this would actually prove to be a challenge. Silky threads came from the mouth of the spider, putting Poochyena in the same binding situation as he was before with Wurmple. At least now he knew what to do. "Attack again with Bug Bite!" Again, with speed and swift agility, the Ariados dived into Poochyena nibbling on the small pup. It'd prove to be a super-effective move, but Ren would use the enemy's moves aginst' them. "Turn over to unbind yourself!" Soon the nibbling would start to tear away at his fur and start to slowly rip at his skin. Shifting his position, Poochyena managed to force the Ariados' attack to chew through the silky webbing. "Use Fire Fang while you're up close." Poochyena jumped on top of the arachnid. Flashing his fangs, heat would start to emit from them. Biting into the giant spider, the Ariados would feel a burning sensation. Poochyena might be in a type disadvantage, but at least he had a move to make up for it.
Disengaging, the two opposing pokemon retreated to their side of the field. "Keep it up Ariados!" In an instant, Ariados was englufed in flames for three seconds before they would vanish. "Looks like your prized pokemon is burned." he shouted to Theodore. "How are you doing Poochyena? Think you can keep it up?" he asked. Struggling, the small pooch stood it's ground and puffed out his chest. Letting out a howl, he began to glow. Small energy particles began to surround him as his physical structure began to change. The howling ceased and the light grew brighter. Poochyena's lifted it's head to the sky and let out a howl once more, but a deeper one. Instantaneously, the light vanished revealing a Mightyena. His pokemon had evovled. "Impossible!! That's not fair!!" complained Theodore. "There's nothing wrong with a pokemon evolving in the middle of the battle. Still want to continue now?" Ren let out a smirk. "Doesn't matter, your mutt is still at a disadvantage." "You know, it's not always about the type match-up. If you haven't noticed, your Ariados is burned. Every minute that goes by, it's health will decrease." "Enough! Go Araidos, String Shot again!" "Not this time! Dodge and use Take Down!" Silky webbing would come from the arachnid. Mightyena managed to dodge the attack, jumping into the air. Looking straight at the spider, Mightyena threw his wieght to come down heavily, intentionally crashing into the spider. "Fire Fang, quick!" Lunging forward, Mightyena took a bite at the arachnid with flames coming out of his mouth. The Ariados would feeling the burning sensation from the fangs, but the pain was much worse this time. To Ren, it seemd Mightyena's speed and attack power had increased from it's evolution. "Quick, Poison Sting!" Turning it's head to face the dog, whom was no longer a pup, shot thin needles that were covered in poison. Mightyena felt needles poking him, but the thick fur took most of the damage. Althought the chance of getting poisoned was much more less then getting burned.

Once more, flames covered the Ariados entirely. The spider couldn't take more of it. One more attack and it would be done for. Mightyena, now panting, was beginning to feel tired himself. "Let's try poisoning him, Poison Jab!" Leaping in front Mightyena, Ariados began thrusting it's two front legs that were emitting a purple glow. A single hit could poison Mightyena. "Dodge and use Take Down one more time!" Jumping from one spot to another repeatedly, Mightyena dodged every incoming attack. A single misstep would land him a punch that'd possibly poison him. Upon the last jab punch, Mightyena landed on Ariados' side. Once he touched the ground, he pushed off his hind legs and rammed into the arachnid. Mightyena sent Ariados to the sideline several feet. "NOOO!!!" Both Araidos and Poochyena struggled to stand. A fearful silence overcame everyone, that was until Ariados dropped down to the ground first. "Well looks like I win..again." Recallling his Mightyena he faced Theodore. "I hope you're happy now. You wanted a rematch, now you got it." Walking away, he headed back to where he was suppose to meet up with RenOne and Kasumi. It was a wierd feeling. He had beaten the best trainer here at the Battle Pike, twice for that matter. The crowd had parted, making way for Ren to pass through as if they were afraid of him. "Let's go Lucifer, I bet Ren and Kasumi are waiting for our return." Yes master. The jewel-eyed Sableye trailed after his master.

After finishing their training, Ren and Kasumi returned to where they had planned to meet Ren (Two) again, and they waited.

Ren and Kasumi nodded as Ren (Two) approached "Of course." Kasumi answered "I hope you did as well" "And that your Pokemon gained some valuable experience too." Ren (One) agreed.

After spending a few weeks in the hospital, the process of deactivating Maddy's microchip was complete. Her and Matthias wandered into the common room.

"I'm your prisoner, dumbass. What do you think I'm doing here?" Maddy asked, returning BL's glare.
Matthias rolled his eyes. "We'll change that soon enough."
She turned to Matthias. "Hey, can I at leas--"
"No, you can't beat him up."
Maddy sighed and leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
