Though most received her kindness with their own sort of sweet reply, the Eladrin did not and for that Belladonna was sorry. Sin's tight, hurt face did not staunch the faerie's words, but did at least temper her a little so that when she was let go, she felt sorrow deeper than she expected. It wasn't fair that the faerie knew what awaited them both when she woke up, that they would still be friends, that this was just a very odd dream that did not at all diminish anything about the other. Now she wished she had not said such harshness earlier in the heat of battle. But confusion had clouded everything whereas the white pillar struck through it with a calm hand now, too little too late, unfortunately. Still, Belladonna smiled at Sin, sadly, but a smile nonetheless and let her go. A part of that other Sin would always remain within her heart, the one that had asked to protect her and been rewarded with an unjust end. Things always seemed vastly unfair, but there would be time to make it right upon wakefulness.

For now, it was an end Belladonna hated the most because all those memories, however fuzzy and vague, were still in her mind. They vied for attention as she stood underneath her King and watched his face change in emotion, a variety too complex and quick to properly pick out for analysis. She almost spoke, almost piped up with an apology or another profession of love since he seemed even in this lifetime to ignore her words in favor of everything else. But his mouth opened and she closed her own, patient and waiting.
First, an odd laugh that turned into a cough.
Second, a note that formed no words and was cut off with a shake of his head.
Third time was always the charm as he swept forward, swept her up and bent her back in recreation of a kiss the faerie knew too well. Belladonna almost wanted to fight because she was wrong, she wasn't the girl he wanted, but she didn't because, after all, that faerie Belladonna had only been a facet just like he was. And facets, even if they do not reflect perfectly, are still part of a piece that can be loved in combination of all its different faces.
With the full intent that she would not regret this, that she would never regret any affection given to her by any Mort, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back, perhaps a little guardedly, but still with enough passion to warrant belief in equal affection.
"Please tell me you forgive me…" She mumbled with a small spill of tears down her cheeks, the best apology she could muster at the moment.

Thackery awoke not to his perfect world, but to a mirror without a reflection.

He stared for a long time, trying to make sense of it. He was just supposed to sleep, and he'd had the idea that he would wake and everything would be right. So what was this? He leaned a little closer and stared some more, unable to make out anything through the 'mirror'. He guessed he might be able to understand this, he thought, since he was the Reflection, yet...this wasn't really what he had in mind for his kingdom. Maybe if he closed his eyes and opened them again, it might look different. He tried as much. Same result, much to his dismay. There had to be some sort of mistake. He hadn't slept long enough, or there was a slight hold up in getting everything just so. Or this was exactly as it was supposed to be, and he was the mistake here.

But The Voice said...and he trusted The Voice...so...

Frowning, he tapped on the glass.

Then someone else did, too.

Startled, he jerked his hand backward, turning to see who stood near his side. Erebus! he realized, frown quickly changing to grin. A little odd to see him here, of course, but not an all together unpleasant surprise, he didn't think. They could just talk to pass the time, and wait for whatever was supposed to happen to happen. The smile faded again, just as quickly, when he saw Erebus completely ignore him, watched him turn towards him.

This wasn't Erebus.

He opened his mouth to speak, but there were no words he wanted to say. There was nothing to say. Had The Voice created another one, just like him? What had he done wrong? He was loyal, right? He continued to gape at his double (who was substantially less attractive than he, if he had to say) as he reached right through him to tap on the glass again.

This time there was a sound like a mirror being smashed beneath a boot. His ears twitched towards the noise and he glanced sideways with concern-turned-horror when he realized that the other him was the one who was stepping through. No! Unacceptable! In no perfect existence was a less attractive version of himself wandering around without him!

Determined, he tried to follow, pressing against a barrier he couldn't seem to break. He whimpered and turned in circles, looking for another way, but none seemed to present itself. Desperate hands searched for an exit where there was none.

And here he was. Stuck as the reflection.

Maybe it was meant to always be this way. The bitter taste of realization made him sick, and he pounded at the barrier again, frustrated with this fate. He'd proven himself so capable! Couldn't he be the real one now? The True King instead of its Reflection?

The Voice - no, just a voice - rose to answer him. It had not been the one to guide him through all of his existence, but it was the one that guided him now, showing the way to the door that would bring him to...well, he wasn't sure where, really. He hesitated before opening it, watching everyone on the other side. Was this his kingdom?

There was only one way to find out.

He smoothed down his hair, tipped up his chin, and stepped through the door.

Etzer stood, blinking his eyes as he glanced around at the people he fought with. At the people he lived with.

He didn't know what to do. So many emotions filled him, but what he felt most was regret. None of this was their fault, so why couldn't they just... be?

Walking around the group, Etzer glanced over as he spotted Xiu, walking over to her and, when the opportunity arose, kissed her on the cheek.

A sweet gesture.

"Thank you for everything." He looked a bit awkward, but stood with his jacket still open, a lost expression on his face. Was this really how it was meant to be?

"Commander Wilson!" The ever-cheerful Ganerie replied, darting over to his Captain with a slight bow and flutter of his wings. "Et were really gud fightin' with ye, n'all," Marosa exclaimed, letting out a sigh. "Happy endin' or naught, toh, tis is pretty jacked up." His golden gaze slid around the room, shoulders sagging at the sight. No sign of the other alien he was looking for anywhere.

"Oi dinnae suppose... ye've seen Sharra aboot, have ye?" He had a forlorn expression on his face, having hoped to see his best friend one last time.

Watching Jericho nearly made Poke's eyes roll out of her head. Yeah, she'd totally watch out for him (not). But he wasn't swearing revenge on her, so it was a good outcome. Looking up she saw commander Wilson was back again, and she gladly took the hand that was offered, leaning in as she lowered her voice.

"Nah, his punch was feather light, didn't hurt at all, I just said it to inflate his ego a bit. Guy couldn't throw a punch to break wet paper." Even if her face said otherwise (and was that blood on her nose?) Grinning from ear to ear she straitened. "Oh yeah, the guy I mentioned, he looked a little like a feathered serpent. Really white too, but his skill on the bike was amazing." Not that hers wasn't, but she was gonna igve credit when credit was due.

Light was piercing through her closed eyelids, causing her to blink awake. But how? She had died! Well it felt more like a long deep sleep, and now she was finally truly awake. It seemed as though she was not the only one; many from all of the kingdoms were here. Whisper felt so warm, so at peace, and that definitely that was a welcome departure from all the chaos. There was something though that told her that this really was the end, but this time it wasn't terrifying or cold. By far the most comforting thing of this was that she would not be alone. She was almost ready to go, to finally be done with this fragmented existence, but there was one last thing she needed to do. She was strength after all, and the one she saw in the mirror looked like she needed some.

Whisper moved among the crowd, searching for one in particular. She was trying to locate one of the once thought traitors, to see if they could do anything to help. Obviously they were special, so perhaps they could pass a long a message for her. If her real self was anything like her she knew it would all be hard to believe, but she just had to try.

After a few brief moments, she managed to find the one she was looking for. Whisper approached the girl, who was their queen and bowed her head. "My queen, I am sorry for being so foolish and not seeing the truth as you did. But I have a simple favour to ask. Please find the one from whom I was birthed and give her a message. Be strong, fight for what you believe in and stay loyal to your cause. There are times when the shadows can be overwhelming, but fear not. Not everything that is unknown is bad. Just trust yourself, you will always be on the right path if you follow your instincts. Just believe in yourself. Just believe.

I will trust you to do with that as you wish, I would not be offended if you could not tell her this. Thank you for listening, my liege."
She bowed once more and stepped away, not wanting to overstay her welcome.

It felt strange to exist once more, not as a mere nothing but as something once more. Jason opened his eyes once more, confused as to why he was even here. With a glance he realized it was the white pillars doing. He smiled at its words. Emotion was a powerful thing indeed. And though he was a mere fragment of someone else, he still had his own feelings and desires.

It was also nice to see the emperor once again, and to see people from the gold kingdom find each other once more. Though he held secret hopes that, maybe this time when he faded away, he might find Zanthvos again.

Temes had faded the first time, like little droplets of a memory being torn apart. It hadn't worried her like she thought it would, she hadn't been afraid like she thought she would - it had merely been her body fading. She was used to it, used to everything...

And then she returned. It was like a sudden gust of air bringing her back an forcing her to see the others. She hadn't been alone in the room after all, it was not a repeat of before.

But...whom would she speak with? Whom should she say her goodbyes to? It was no different than before, she was still...it was....

No, it was alright. She would merely watch the joining, the delights, and. . . well...

When she'd faded away Ofelia was pretty sure she'd screamed. It was hard to tell and she didn't want to think on it...but then suddenly she was back. The White Pillar had driven away the black, bright and warm and full of light, so so now everyone was visible. She could see all the faces again but. . . something felt wrong.

It was like there was a bitter taste on the end of her lips that meant everything here wouldn't be as it was once the light was gone. It made her wonder just what was happening, why she'd faded to start with. Ofelia had felt anger over that, regret perhaps as well, but now. . .

Now her feet just carried her to a shock of red hair with a man in black. She'd seen them on the distance, she'd heard them somehow. It was like part of her knew them and yet at the same time they were nothing to her. Objects, maybe? Lies, or a memory tampered with. She'd lived with them, grew with them, but this felt strange and distant. Like something was wrong.

Like this wasn't real.

Ofelia approached the pair at a distance, the seething anger she had towards the Faerie a little more than still lingering. They had sent her away when they were acting weird but to see her on the King...had something happened? The voice had called all kinds of things and. . .

So she just stood there within the line of sight, not speaking and not moving.

He hadn't expected to wake up again, or, if he woke, to come back to consciousness in Deus, with the awful knowledge of failure weighing heavy in his mind. But it seemed there'd been an intervention on their behalf, and Jordan was quietly grateful. He'd been wrong about the Voice, he realized, but that was okay.

Jing was raising an imaginary glass in a toast, thanking them all. Most of the Watch had never known he wasn't their Jordan after being awakened, and he wasn't going to enlighten them, not in these final moments; he could be the person they wanted him to be, just a little longer. He smiled calmly, nodded to the assembled Blue Kingdom, and raised an invisible glass of his own.

He looked to Harrison last, caught his eyes, and hoped that the Blue King could read his apology there.

Carhop Cavalier

Mot tilted his head to the side as Gilly slammed herself into Riley, and Gene pinched her cheek. Such an odd sight, really. Riley even seemed off at one point. Not quite herself. But who could blame her, right?

Mot's hand was soon occupied with Gene's, squeezing it lightly in return. Her smile was sad, and his mind momentarily reminded him of their last encounter. The dark haired fragment nodded solemnly to her words, a smile gracing his face regardless of the dark atmosphere. "So it is."

"...no hard feelings, in case you were wondering." Mot chuckled, a playful grin spreading across his features. "I'm not really sure why it is we all felt the need to kill each other back there, but somehow I don't think you really wanted to."

AJ was brought back, once again. He was sure that he heard Mr. Pillar White's voice, the one who was alone but treated them nicely. He can see again, hear again and speak again, the last mercy given by the White Pillar. There are many people dressed in white/ silver, so plain. To the contrary, there were some outstanding figures, with vivid colors. They were not fragments......?

It's time. It's time to say goodbye. There was no much time left.

AJ scanned through faces from faces, locking for familiar faces. Then, he saw-

-Their King!

"Your majesty! Mort" He hadn't think of anything but dashed forwards to hug their king. It might be weird for male to hug male, but he didn't care anymore. He just wanted to enjoy this moment. "I just want to tell you I am proud to be part of the Om! The hug lasted for a while before AJ finally let go.

"I am glad to have you to be my sister, Ofelia. Another hug, it didn't hurt for a final hug.

To the other, he gave a hug also, each of them, including the newly joined silvers. "Thank you. Thank you for everything. Goodbye, my friends."

Finally, he managed to have this last reunion with the one he loved so much, he didn't have any regrets.

He had a big grin on his face, really satisfied.

Was she in the darkness? But - there was lights?

Arynek felt the lights and opened her eyes slowly, she wasn't sure where she was, but they were all there. All the silvers, all the fragments, all the kings.

She wasn't sure what was happening, but she had an urge to find the one she likes. Arynek looked around, everything was so bright and full of hope.

Was that Rei? And Sun! The Shadowlord also!

She dashed to hug the two, tears representing happiness were running down. Rei! Sun! Nice to see you again! Arynek was thankful, for the chance to meet with them again. Even if they will no longer there, they can enjoy this moment.

She then brought the two towards where the lord was, the fragment which was once Moon expressed her deepest gratitude to the Shadowlord. "Thank you! Thank you my lord. For letting me stay in your kingdom even though I seemed so useless. For trusting me and gave me power to fight with you."

She smiled, so sweet and obliged.

The darkness didn't seem to like her that much.

The light forced her eyes open, and she stared at the silver room around her. People were milling around, all from the different kingdoms. All the fragments. To have all her senses back was a welcome relief, but Justice knew that it would not last. It was just a brief interlude the White Pillar had granted to them before they truly disappeared.

The fragment that was born from Marzena did not know whom to approach, even as she watched the others chat with each other. And yet, it did not mean that she was not grateful to see the scene before her. After all, it was just as the White Pillar had said. This was a happy ending. And Justice was content.

...Or was she? Even as she crossed her arms, standing alone with a soft, sad smile upon her face, she remembered. That one person that she should, at least, say something to.

She figured that she owed someone her thanks for what he had done. Even if they had been in opposing Kingdoms, even if she did not know his name. And so, arms uncrossed, and she went into the crowd in search of him.

Bix was back and the abject terror he'd 'died' with seemed to be gone. There was only a sense of peaceful finality.

And sadness.

"I think I'm the other guy." He laughed, approaching his commander. He clapped the other man gently on the shoulder and gave him a nod. "Roch and I got him. Damn android... no machine should ever be that smart." Wilson got a wry grin from the albino.

He watched the infinite space brimming with figures all speaking and hugging, some punching, most simply milling around and waiting until they were ready to surrender themselves. He was almost ashamed of his own fear previously. He even wondered why they'd all just done it. Followed the voice and obeyed.

If they hadn't, would they still be destined for oblivion and the memory of only a few?

"Do you think.." he wondered aloud. Protocol could be abandoned now. He could speak freely to his King. "it would have been different if we just.. didn't listen?"

Also where was Roch? He wouldn't mind maybe shaking his hand.. apologizing for any sour words they'd shared.
