Emmy nods quietly, before thinking of changing her bo staff into a pair of over-the--head headphones first, setting down the bulk of the headphones with the others, the trailing wire adapter part, trailing down the table, and within reach. Not that she had any cause for doubt, but she'd just been meaning to do that for a while, and now just seemed like a good time.

Nekora:
"Ahem," Jasmine says, pointing at the table.
Rule 5,649: Always inspect your team's Soul Gems within twenty-fours hours after a mission is completed, successful or not, she recites in her head, as if knowing that you're checking. Rule 5,650: If a member of your team refuses to submit to inspection, force may be used within reason. Rule 5,651: If reasonable force does not succeed, backup must be called in and the offender detained for inspection and questioning.
She continues to list off a few following rules as she waits. One that strikes a chord with you is Rule 5,655: If there is reason to believe that the offender's Soul Gem may be tainted, you are authorized to detain the offender immediately if they do not submit to Rule 5,649; if there is no reason to suspect this, this rule may not be cited as reason for detainment.
Jade & Misaki:
Jasmine takes each of yours in turn while still looking at Nekora and puts them on the table, waiting for Nekora to put hers down.
Emmy:
You notice the corner of Jasmine's mouth lift in a short-lived smile that reverts back to an annoyed look at Nekora.
Chi:
Jasmine doesn't seem to react to your Soul Gem, as she is waiting for Nekora to put hers down.

"Okay! Just seeing if it's a test! Hard to tell and all, no need to get annoyed. You did give us a warning yesterday about being careful with our gems, so it's hard to tell if you'd want to push the point further!" I say with an awkward smile before setting my collar down. I had to admit, having destoryed a gem myself gave me a hearty respect for what can happen if it were to falll in the wrong hands. Not that I didn't trust Jasmine, but it felt like I should keeping a pretty close eye on it.

Everyone:
Jasmine gently holds Nekora's Soul Gem and looks it over carefully.
"Nekora," she says. "You have a hairline fracture inside your Gem. That's probably caused by consuming that girl's soul. You CAN heal over this small impurity, thankfully, but I recommend not doing that again for some time, if at all. Gaining new powers is nice, but tainting your Gem is a pretty hefty cost."
She set the collar down and picks up Ayumu's spear, looking deep into the Gem on the blunt end.
"Looks good, Ayumu," she says.
She sets the spear down and picks up Jade's gun, popping open the handle, to get a good look at all parts of the Gem.
"A little dirty," she says. "Probably from using the magic bullets. Clean it after every mission. It won't taint it, but cleaning it will make inspection easier and make it look nice."
She closes the handle and sets the gun down before picking up Misaki's sword, looking at the handle, where the Gem is held in place.
"Yours is a little dirty, too, Misaki," she says. "Like I said to Jade, clean it after every mission. Your soulfire and the blood from enemies will make it look disgusting if not cleaned regularly."
She puts the sword down and picks up Emmy's headphones, looking at the Soul Gem, which is set in the middle of the headband.
"Very nice," she says. "Yours is looking a little dull, though. You just need some rest."
She puts the headphones down and picks up Chi's choker. She looks at it closely before looking up at Chi questioningly.
"Chi, you have a hairline fracture, too," she says. "I'm not sure why, though. You didn't do anything negative...how deep into your thoughts did she get? Did you say or think anything negative? It can be healed easily, but it still has to included in my mission report, with a logical reason for its presence."
She is still holding the choker in her hands.

I stare at the table. "I attempted to assist in throwing her off by eerily chanting about the fact that she was going to die. It didn't effect her and she tried to claim something like we were kindred spirits. It was at that point where I stopped and told her to die before I moved in for that close range attack that injured Nekora and Ayumu. She was more deranged than I thought she'd be."

"Ehehehe... Well, at least it's not too bad. How do I fix it? Is it healed over time, or do I have to do some kind of soulsearching quest or..." I say in a slightly distressed voice voice, taking my collar back and putting it back on. "I can't screw up my opportunity to prove that I've got some good in me!"

"Cleaning my gem will be no problem, I was told to keep my weapons clean and in good shape." I say, and put my sword away. I glance over at Nekora after my sword is away, thinking about her soul gem being damaged. I must keep her on the right path, her and Chi. I will not let anymore of my family fall to the darkness. I don't know if I could turn my blade, the last thing I have from my brother, on to someone, even if turned, that I call family. Best not to think about it, Nekora can read minds now it seems.

She gently picked up her spear and sighed"oneesan you need to be more careful, you worry me too much"she said as she was looking at chi, in a very worried but kawaii way.

Chi:
"Unfortunately, we have to always assume the worst of them," Jasmine says with a sigh. "Don't worry about it, though. You'll be fine. Just try not to let it happen again."
Nekora:
"Don't think negative thoughts, and don't perform negative actions," Jasmine replies. "It'll heal over time. Oh, and before you ask, killing people in a video game doesn't count as negative. Took the Order years to believe it."
Misaki:
"Good," Jasmine says with a smile.
Everyone:
"All right, time to eat!" Jasmine announces.
Right on cue, a cute maid strolls up. She's pale-skinned and has a French accent.
"What can I get you all?" she asks, her English coming through very nicely. "Tonight's specials are French onion soup, T-bone steak, and a house salad. However, you can order whatever you like."

She thought for a moment"Can Me and Oneesan have a giant Chicken Ceaser Salad to share? with apple juice and a nice T bone steak and then a cookie for desert?" she asked mainly looking at chi to see if she would accept this order herself.

"Oh, that soul was so satisfying, too... Is eating souls evil? I mean, in a weird, roundabout way, I'm giving them a chance to redeem themselves by letting them help in fighting back evil." I say to Jasmine, biting at my claw like nails subconsciously to sharpen them. I turn towards the maid who arrived. "I'll take two steaks, rare, one bowl of the soup, and a big Baked Alaska, to share!" I say happily.
