SailleSoul Is the issue only published in this guild or is it also published to the public. Beacuse maybe we should start publishing our issues on the Writer's forum so the public may see it and we could bring in more people to work or write articles for the issues! Just a tought! heart Saille Hehe, the issues are always published in the Writer's Forum, and it usually stays afloat two or three days after posting. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Poco_The_Great I was just wondering thepress is the guilds mule right if so shouldn't we get her a green messager bag to make her look more papergirl-esque. Just a random thought. lol. biggrin Hahaha, random indeed! I guess we could do that, though I think she already got a new outfit while I was gone, so let's hold off on new accessories for now! We generally use the mule's gold to sponsor writing contests and things like that. wink

To that "How many of the new ones will stick around" comment, three words:
Just watch me.
I love it here.

alicemae Bookie What? Rules? No one said there was gonna be any rules! domokun Hehehe, rules indeed. Do you feel slightly tricked now? And grumpy? Well, I guess that's how we are here at TGP. sweatdrop Heheh, gotta strike while teh iron's hot, doncha know! ninja ...Anywho, about your reviews! I'm assuming you're going to be in charge of anime, right? I'm looking forward to it! Anime? Actually, I was thinking of reviewing longer peices in the prose forum. I think trying to find enough anime to review for two zines would kill me. sweatdrop

Yeeesh! I'm not around for an afternoon and you go and jump 3 pages without me?
*pouts*
Araia: Yes, you were a wodnerfully pleasant surprise! I remember there were 5 or so newbies in your batch, and of them all you're the only one left. sweatdrop
NEWBIES PLANNING ON HAVING YOUR OWN COLUMNS: Please come up with a name, example Jahoclave's column is called "Point! What's your point?", so headline banners can be made.
Serieve: That list of works is outdated! The last paragraph I mean. xp
Clavy: You likey the froggy? ^^
Saille: I'm sorry, but that little bouncing heart bugs the crap out of me. whee
Bookie: Rules, and no pay to go along with it!
Poco: If you can find good pictures that still look good when resized [compression usualyl screws over screenshots from games], and you have permission to use them [really do not want to have to deal with copyright issues], then yes, we can have pictures in The Review.
Xer: Yes, this is the first place you come to once stepping into the guild. Main idea swapping, apple throwing, and general chatter happens here -- it is the HQ after all.
*mops*
Hmm...on the topic of picture, what say we post a pic, then have people write a complete short story from that pic? As a project, I mean. And we can use a bunch of random pics. I have a gazillion in my various folders.
Alice: Gimme a week [a few days give or take], and I'll have a layout for the website I'll show you for review. I'm working with a mauve-ish/light fuschi-is and white color scheme....yes or no? [personally I hate it]. I'm also figuring out what buttons to use etc. Also, what icon/symbol could represent us? Methinks that would be nice, have our own lil' logo.

And stupid uncivilized people make pirating the Man of La Mancha soundtrack hard.

I just went through HQ and picked out things to comment about, so! Here goes. Oh, you don't have to worry about that comment. I'm well on the way to considering you a regular now. 3nodding alicemae Hehehe, now that you mention it, I happen to know someone who could write a little something about going back to school as a NKOTB... *wiggles eyebrows* Actually, I don't see why anyone would take an interest, so while many of us here (me, Lilly, Kraeela) could talk about the NKOTB feeling, it... doesn't seem like the kind of thing to write about. neutral Don't ask me why. Kraeela I'm thinking a Classifieds section? I've noticed a few, ok more than a few, threads looking for Beta readers, Beta readers looking for work, writers looking for art of their characters etc etc etc. I like this idea. You were a little unclear last time about this idea, Ms. Mae, because I didn't really know what you were talking about (again, don't ask me why). Plus you did only mention it once in the Afterthought, so there wasn't much attention brought to it. And we can gain more gold by charging for such priveleges. mrgreen Now, to help us regulars keep track, a list of the new people and what they're supposed to be doing. ninja Poco- Video game reviews Sallie- Columnist Bookie- Reviews Xeheqlar- Columnist And what I thought about things on the List of Doom: List of Doom - Let's add a new section! The pending title is Dear Staffies and this is where we'll post any feedback such as fanmail or critiques from readers. We'd have to get more feedback if we did this, and they'd have to say more than "Loved it! I'm a fan!" However, there is the chance that by adding this section it can generate more feedback, which would be awsome. So it depends on if you'd like to take the chance. We could always start out small. If not, we can just keep on responding to feedback posted after issue publications. List of Doom - Another new section! This one's pending title is The Review and obviously we'll be reviewing everything from books to music to anime. This is my way of branching beyond the Writing Forum into the other forums. Good idea, yes? Yeah, this sounds like an awsome idea. 3nodding List of Doom - Kudos to Clavy, the next Staff Spotlight will feature short bios and real life pics of all the staffies! I don't mind displayign an RL pic. But how are we going to format our bios? We don't want to make them long and we want to keep them interesting to the public. Yep, I liked this idea too. And lastly (at last)! My own idea. A FAQ. Nothing big, just a little sticky/thread for visitors with answers to Frequently Asked Questions. Jaho brought it up once some while ago and then I found that it could come in handy. The End.

*cough*
P.S. The contest is still going quite horribly, and if we don''t start getting more votes then it''ll have to be put off for the third time total. Second time because of voting. >< So, I''m going to go vote even though the original plan says no staffies. But we need votes.
New staffies can vote in the TGP Contest 1.3 thread. There are some good pieces there and I don''t like that we have to resort to this. People too lazy to read, I guess... *sigh* v.v

And if anybody can give me a good explination of a complex sentence, I could really use it. People should know that just because somebody is smart doesn't mean they can explain things.
