Victoria stopped as she reaches the outside ring of Sneasel's she sighed openly. Three pokemon that he could command, that trumped her, but still ...she felt it then. This was the time to challenge him, to crush and claim considering that she had achieve her mission and had nothing to lose. Besides, Aella could uses all the training she could get as the Emolga in question moved from one shoulder to the other looking at the boy.
He had been smart not to answer the first time ...and foolish the second as she stops and cups her hands behind her back. The girl had reached freedom from the Sneasel and felt it was good enough as she turns to look at Raven.
"Humph, 1."
She declares with a smirk.
"I only have one partner, so, with that in mind ...do you think you could trump me?" "Your 3 vs. my 1." "You challenged me before, but I determined early on that it was a worthless fight, but three vs. my 1 sound a bit more fair."
"So, how about it?"
She declares as the wind stirred her hair. Those silver locks were forced into the air ...as she seemed to be smiling quite deliciously at him.
"I have completed my mission and now seems as good as any time for us to test our strength."
This time it would be her to challenge him. Though she wasn't the only one gearing up for battle as swift moment would take place in the area above them....her eyes narrowed as she looks downwards at the movement from above. A motion of her paw would bring her mate to her side as both of their eyes narrowed.

Six had no idea what he was thining. Obviously he was somewhat panicking. So he took a few deep breaths and tried to think more clearly. Ok...So what do I do next?
"Snover use Powder Snow on the ones that got caught in your gaze!" Hopefully, he could take down at least some, making the group smaller.
Snover did as he was told and used Powder Snow. As Snover shot snow at the Scraggy, all Six had to hope for next was knocking out some of them.

Raven's eyes narrowed for a moment upon Victoria, and for a moment he paused. There was only one answer he could give her, it was the sensible one, but in a way it surprised him to be the one making it. "I..." He began calmly, straightening "...refuse." Yes, he was rejecting her challenge. Something he never thought he'd do when asked for a duel...but he had to set his priorities this time.
"Three against one his hardly honorable" He stated calmly. It didn't help that most of his Pokemon were currently weakened by their time spent on this island; but it didn't seem wise to mention that for the moment. "Though you may have completed your mission, I still have my own to complete..." Briefly, Raven peered over his shoulder at the Sneasel upon his back "...and for the moment, I have other matters of which to attend."

Through if he was looking for words, there was none that needed to be spoken ...as the Spiritomb find that the cat hadn't chosen to run, but instead had growled as he made his own move. It's entire body would seem to break apart them ...as it dissolved in the air as nothing but a wisp of wind.
It's stone would fall heavily to the ground ....as it seemed for the moment to have left them behind. The darkness avoid would fade to seemingly nothing for but a moment ...as the grass around the Purrloin's feet would suddenly wilt and die.
Tendrils of hands would come up from the grasses as they would cross each other once before coming downwards at the cat. Each one seeking to cut through him and back into the ground itself.
No, he was making it clear what he wanted.
His death as he used shadow sneak.

"Tch, weakling."
The girl declares with a bit of huff in her voice. She had figured he would back down, but as he gave the lame excuse of it being a bit unfair she recognized his real reason. He hadn't finished his mission.
For him ...he could still fail, and she could lower the number of rivals in a single move. It was something that she had been hoping to come across as she reaches a hand towards Aella.
"I don't accept your refusal."
She declares with a devilish sort of a smirk on her face. She was going to battle him whether he wanted to fight or not, and there was little that he could do about it. These were her thoughts as suddenly a shadow would be cast above her ...and the girl would find herself having to dive out of the way ...as something heavy and strong would put a dent into the crater where she had been before.
It was quickly followed by another ....as Aella was dislodged by the girl's dive and roll.
Before the two trainers, there would stand two sights that no one would expect. The parents of that little sneasel and as they locked eyes on the two trainers it became quite clear ...that they weren't happy. The male stood up as he pulled the earth with him in that moment ...allowing it to fall apart around his claw revealing those sharp and long claws underneath.

Instinctively Raven began moving one hand to his sword, but as he moved his hand even the faintest bit he noticed the shifting of his burden. Yes, he was still carrying something wasn't he...or rather someone.
It was then realization struck. Weavile...angry Weavile...and ones whom had likely gone out of their way to get here if their entrance was an indication.Probably the Sneasel's parents....why ELSE would the Weavile appear so close to a pack of rival Sneasel?
In contrast to the two Dark-Types before him, Raven actually smiled quite kindly. "I believe this belongs to you..." He rolled his shoulder as before to better show the snoozing Sneasel "...she was hanging off a branch when I found her."
With little fear of the Weavile attacking, Raven turned his back to them and leaned down so that the Sneasel was closer to the ground. What did he had to be afraid of? Though his back was turned, in this position they were more likely to hit the babe then the trainer whom bore her.
"Wake up little one" The boy cooed, scratching the Sneasel's nose lightly in an attempt to wake her. It was more then a little out of character for the boy, but the arrival of the Weavile had reminded him of something...he'd had at least one good parent...once.
His mother had been a gentle, if stubborn woman. When she were alive, she'd wake him up in the same manner he now attempted on the Sneasel.

As Vanni waked, she found their path had changed a bit. The forest had turned dark and old- a relic of the ancient times. Vanni reached out and brush her hand across the rough bark, curious about the strange bark. "It's lovely," she murmured, eyes shining with curiosity. [1/10]

::The Purrloin looked round, trying to examine... they wouldn't be able to beat this thing in straight battle... and running... he could tell, the way this thing had attached itself to his shadow... running wasn't an option either, certainly not with Jasmine as she was, nor himself... they had to think smarter... find a way to beat the Spiritomb WITHOUT attacking it::
::He looked back... the original area the ghost had spawned from... it wasn't speaking... there had to be a reason the ghost wasn't talking... maybe it was more than arrogance...:: [Jasmine!]
::He pounted with nose away, the direction it had came from, trying to get the girl's attention away from the apparition, nodding toward the point on the grass:: [Go look over there!]
::The girl couldn't take a language course, but she could take an educated guess, following the nod, the point it had risen from...::
::The Purrloin barely looked round in time to see what the Spiritomb was doing, watching it break down... the core left alone as its ethereal body would emerge and strike down upon the land, the pestilence was fast, the mystery of the black earth now solved!::
::He ran, as best he could, he leapt forward, trying to reach that stone core, try and see it himself whether or not it was odd whilst trying to avoid all the shadowy tendrils::
::What they both knew and were expecting, was Jasmine was indeed free, that mid leap, Jasmine would whisk the cat out of the air, whirling onward:: We stick together, remember?!
::She called out loud for the Spiritomb to hear as she would roll there, looking to find feet as she'd aid the cat, looking to help him find a perch ready!::

He dumped the Sunkern in the hole and kicked the dirt onto it, And it was there he unknowingly left it to die...as he walked back to Crimson with a sad look on his face. "> I want a new squeaky! <" he whined, and she only sighed "don ever...well, you won, that was good. Just don't...stop being stupid." she looked down at him and he only have herbsad dog eyes. impromptu stopped for a moment to stare at a bush, making Ada stop as well. He sniffed at it for amniotic before sticking his head in, biting down on a perfectly shaped branch and featuring out, turning around with his prize in his mouth and his head held high...well, for five seconds until it dropped down on the ground.
Ah, yes, the perfect fetching stick...was too big for him. It made his head heavy and close to he ground and caused his rear end to stick up in he air. He growled, pushing his hind legs against the ground to drag himself forwards with the stick, refusing to let go even in this ridiculos position he was in. This was his stick, HIS! NO ONE ELSE IS ALLOWED TO FETCH STICKS LIME THIS BUT HIM. YOU SEE SOMEONE FETCHING A STICK AND YOU THINK "DAMN! WHOS THAT CRAZY MOTHER FEAROW FETCHING A STICK? THAT MUST BE IMPROMPTU, SON OF A BIDOOF, HE'S THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS HOW TI FETCH THOSE CRAZY THINGS!
That's totally what he was thinking now. Totally. And watching him, Ada could barely hold back a giggle. This was some good stuff

Entering the Temple, she'd find the place to be oddly more spacious then it rightly should have ever been. Dark and cavernous, the walls were all made from the same golden, rune etched stone. What little light there was came from torches which hung from the walls.
Solid ground would last only so long beneath the girl's feet, before she was faced with a darkened chasm. The girl wouldn't be able to see too far in, but an occasional flicker of the torches revealed a glint of metal. Obviously she didn't want to be falling down there.
Spread before her were three pathways. Upon her right was a bridge suspended above the empty space of the chasm. The shortest and widest path, the bridge was however made of wood, and evidently quite old. One could only guess at whether it retained the strength to support any weight.
On her left was a set of stairs ascending upwards, and then down onto the other side. No doubt the longest and most difficult path, the stairs were however carved directly into the wall. Likely most of the temple would need to collapse before they fell.
At the center was...simply a path. Made of stone and heading straight across the center, it looked neither aged nor rickety. It wasn't the quickest route, nor was it the longest. In all appearances it seemed the perfect path...but then what was the reason for the other two?

Victoria whom as slowly regaining her feet watches as the two Weavile's eyes fell upon the boy and his bundle. Then their eyes fell upon each other as the female nods and walks forward towards Raven. Victoria snorted, he was losing a good chance to gain something with that babe as his prisoner. Though there was nothing that she could about it ....as Aella floated back down to her shoulder as she watches as well as one of the Weavile declares with a smile.
"Weavile."
The female would step forward.
Her eyes showed gratitude so deep that one could fall into it, but it was her words that froze Aella to the core. Neither Raven nor Victoria could understand her, but, she could ....and she saw that the boy had dropped to her level. Presenting both the babe and his back to her ...as she drew up her claw towards the slowly rousing Sneasel. The babe's eyes open only a little bit as she yawns and then sneezes at the fact she was having her nose rubbed.
Rubbing at it, she still hadn't looked backwards yet .....and the Emolga's fur was fluffed as that claw that reached out to reclaim the young pokemon was turned downwards swiftly as that smile turned devious.
The look in her eyes that had seemed to be so kind before turned to one of pure malice and hate as she drew her arm upwards quickly and down down at the boy and sneasel's unprotective back as the pokemon woke up then as she seemed to feel the same sense of danger. Her eyes wide as she screamed ....and it would seem that that was the only warning that Raven would get to react ...as Aella tries to throw off the blow herself. Speed ....unlike any that she had every had before ....as she sprinted free of the girl's shoulder using Quick attack aimed at that descending claw.
((And, this is what happens when you come across a low roll combine with a high)) ~Weavile's roll# 1 - Aella's roll# 2~

It would work, Claudandas would avoid the attack as he leapt for her, but those dark claws didn't stop at reaching for him at the ground level. They would literally reach up and grab after him .....as the cat would find safety on the girl's arms, but Jasmine herself would find herself in danger as those tendrils would instead grab her and pull downwards. Pull her into the ground ...but it didn't stop there ....as she felt her arm disappear into that darkness ....the girl's arm seeming to go through the ground.
She had saved the Purrloin, but her interferences had put her directly in harm's way and as the Spiritomb had aimed before ...with one hand pulled into the earth ....she would find herself unable to render any more aid until she was able to get free.
The stone that had rested against the ground would soon have those curls of black smoke reassemble right back over type as the Spiritomb's form became solid once more. A wicked grin on it's face as it watches it's opponent with eyes that seemed to read malice and destruction .....still silent.
