((benefits to having several trigger happy characters: Best stress relief!))
The sounds of Pantera's "A Vulgar Display of Power" blasted through loudspeakers as Arell and Jonah had flown around, turning many of the I.O. guards and troops that followed Threshhold and the elder Summers into chunky salsa. To the point where the gatling gun's coolant system was having a hard time keeping up with the use of Jonah's demand of destruction. Arell smirked as he sat in the pilot's seat, watching a master's handiwork.
"I plum gotta hand it to ya, che'. Dat's da finest shootin' I've seen YET!" Arell said with a smirk as he aimed around the corner, letting loose with more gunfire.
"You ain't seen nothin' yet bo- aww ********> Jonah growled. Yep, they had used the gatling gun so much that it had overheated. If they used the over-ride, that gun could have been incredibly damaged by the time they really needed it. The Mooks were going down like dominoes though, so that was a plus.

Red Hood was changing clips in his emptied out pistol when he felt the psychic energy inside his head. It was like he could feel his brain being crushed. He shoved the magazine into the gun and removed his finger from the trigger so he wouldn't shoot anything by accident.
Pressing the sides of his guns to his helmet, he looked to Firestar, who also seemed in pain. He practically yelled at her.
"What the hell do we do about this?"
MahoHaku Hell yeah there should be. Jason seems to be a part of those a lot, anyway.

 Firestar Tried to focus on Jason's statement through the psychic assault. Teary eyes focus despite the horrid headache, the fiery mutant spoke, "He's..... not on this floor.... we would have seen him.... this guy has to be below us. he'd need to be close to launch this kind of attack on us.... If you can... break his concentration.... We'll be able to fight him."Cold Doubt I have Barbara and can be added to the batfamily reunion. smile MahoHaku Isn't Starfire unconscious? You'd have to wake her up.

 That was as much as Dart needed to hear. The opponent was beneath them on lower floors, exhuming the psychic attack to bring that excruciating pain. His knuckles balled as he fought to inch over to the railing, the psychic pain making it hard for him to walk, even stand, but he needed to stop this. Especially now that he was wasting time trying to find Mr. Wayne, who wasn't where he should've been.
Forcing his body over the railing, he fell, forward towards the ground, purposely landing on his hands and knees upon the ground. The fall certainly hurt, but he ignored it for now, the psychic assault causing him greater pains and he about had enough of it.
"RRAAAAAAGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!" His scream echoed as he focused his energy on the stone within it's protective casing upon his belt. The stone was not fully charged, but it would afford him at least enough time to find his assailant and either knock the bloke unconscious or kill him, whichever need be, he didn't care. With his roar, green emerald light flowed through his form from his core and great gusts of wind blew through the level he was, focusing and swirling on his location as he was lifted a few feet into the air.
And then, the radius of light and wind rapidly expanded outward, destroying the portions of building around in close proximity to his aura, glass, fire and chips of wood being flung about as his armor materialized, the emerald, glistening suit appearing with his wings and their energy feathers spreading outward, his sword leaping within his hand in it's new state, malformed by draconic energy.
In this form, the psychic energy was tempered, but only just. He was still very much susceptible and was being hit, but now he could at least focus on it. Trusting on what they said to be accurate, and before he was forced to revert back into his form, Dart began drawing in more wind energy as he floated upwards, his wings beating as energy of wind coalesced into his body. When enough had gathered within him, he then spun about his sword and pointed it, and his body towards the ground, pointing directly at the lower levels of the mansion. He only hoped this worked.
"Time to end this! Wing Blaster!" And upon his vocal command, the energy of his body shot through his form and through his sword, stretching outwards and flung towards the lower levels in a roughly eagle like shape. The sound it made as it pierced through the air even sounded like that of an eagle, the power easily bashing through the couple of levels in the mansion until it hit the ground floor. Upon impact with the solid ground, the great eagle would detonate in a small blast of wind energy, blowing away tile, concrete and wood, causing a good amount of devastation to it's small area of effect.

 Threshold and several of the Black Talons were knocked off of their feet from Dart's blast. Fortunately, this did break Matthew's concentration on the psychic assault; however, his full attention was now on Dart Feld. Slowly regaining his feet and his composure, the blonde mentalist grinned at the dragoon, "Very impressive, Mr. Feld. Given time, you would make a worthy adversary. Too bad that you'll never get the chance..."Threshold raised a force field around himself, and then almost put his hands together in front of his chest almost touching. For a few moments, glowing yellow energy gathered in strength in the space between his palms. Once that ball of energy seemed to reach its bright zenith, Threshold focused a beam firing it directly toward the dragon knight. On the floor above, a mirror fell from the wall to crash on the floor near Jason and Angelica. Firestar could feel that psychic attack ebb into nothingness and glanced toward the edge of the banister to see where Dart had landed, when the redhead heard Threshold's statement. Green eyes widen as she turned toward Red Hood, and whispered, "Jason.... The mentalist is right below us..." Firestar was ready to move when Jason was to make a coordinated strike on Threshold..... MahoHaku Threshold's distracted. You can use the opportunity. Swamp-Surfer The Attack of the Southern Brigade could possibility get a bead on Threshold from the slightly glowing force field.

They were juuuuust about to land the chopper when the forcefield got Jonah's attention.
"Cajun!! Turn this whirlybird fourteen degrees starboard. I think I done got us a bead!" Jonah growled as Arell spun the helicopter around before Hex realized that his guns weren't working. The emergency override had occurred since the gun was literally too hot to fire! "s**t! Damn gun won't fire. I think that hombre down there has somethin' to do with them whackjobs!" Hex growled as Arell smirked.
"On my mark, Hex, hit dat red button t' da lef' of da trigger." Arell drawled as Hex looked at him.
"Th' HELL is that gonna do, Cajun?! We don't have a gun!!! Is it gonna open da door so I can shoot at 'em?!" Hex asked, raising his voice over the din of the copter.
"Not quite what I was thinkin'. Remembah whatcha did t' da Red Guy?" Arell said with a smirk.
"OOoooooooh." Hex said. He got it, prepping the button.

All the while, Tim had his eyes locked on Starfire behind the two hostile 'strangers'... who were revealed as Kai's parents. He knew they were with IO, Kai had told him herself, but he had never met them before now. If only they could reach their unconscious comrade behind their opponents so they could make a quick retreat with everyone in tow. With this wanted drive, one of Tim's hands reached slowly around his belt.

Rose reached her hand up and clicked away a small portion of her mask to reveal she was a person. More or less to make this as personal as possible. If they dared to attack at least they would buy enough talking time before reinforcements come to back them up.
"I would not reach for any weapons. That would be very unwise, even if Kai is our daughter we will not go easy on any of you if you do that."
Grayson was hold his hand to his waist as well ready to pull out some smoke pellets. There was no way he would leave starfire in the hands of bad guys so soon again. Starfire had only been free for so long before this.
"We won't go with you to IO and we want our friend back. We won't go without a fight at least."
Jack picked starfire up and put her on his shoulders as they spoke and walked up to Rose staying well enough behind her that she could block them from trying to reach their friend.
Grayson glared at the two, there actions of how they treated Starfire and them in general was very offensive.
"We don't want to hurt anyone in this mansion. Just to bring them back to IO. If you want to fight we'll have to hurt you just like we had to with this alien. Are you sure you want to end up like this girl here, friend's of Kai?"
"It's Nightwing and you won't have Starfire for long. I'll make sure of that."

Tim kept watching as Kori was picked up by the mech-suited man. He was momentarily halted by the woman's threat.
"What's our best plan of action, RC?"
He was ready to go, but he was practically just as eager to free Starfire from IO as Nightwing. Robin figured that asking Kai about their next steps was the best bet, seeing as she knew these people the most out of all three of them.

"We, grab star and run as fast as we can. Rose won't go easy on us whether or not we do comply to her."
She looked to Tim and then Grayson hoping that they could act as quickly as possible now that she has said what they should do.
"Fair enough. Let's do it."
He rolled his Neck to crack it before tossing down two pellets with quick precision to the floor near the two mech suited IO agents. The smoke welled up to the ceiling as he lept forward keeping in mind where Starfire was. He leaped onto one of Jack's open shoulders and pried Starfire from his arms. Taking on her full weight he jumped and dodged a bright flash that sparked behind him.
"Got her."
Kai pulled out her bow staff and ran after Grayson to help him get star. After he pried starfire from her father she slashed at him with her staff. The staff came into contact with her father's electrified staff giving off sparks sending her back. The smoke became harder to see in with the flashes. She quickly crawled away getting up as she did so.
"Good. Don't look back now."

As d**k and Kai went in to get Starfire Tim spun his bo-staff around, bringing it forward to parry any movement the woman made so his friends could get around her. Once they were in the clear he pushed his bo-staff to force her back and turned the other way, following closely behind Nightwing and RC. Tim plucked some smoke pellets from his belt as well incase they needed them.

"No mercy Jack."
Rose said coldly after being knocked back. She pressed a few buttons on the palm of her suit glove preparing to shoot off some darts. Rose then tapped her comm. "The three apprentices of Batman are escaping with a Teen titan in tow. Don't let them out of this building."
"Got it."
He raised his forearm and from his suit shot out a long projectile metal rope. The rope lashed out in the direction of Kai and her friend's and a line of bright blue charge started from his suit out to the end of the rope.
Kai heard the buzzing almost painful metal shredding noise behind them. Looking back despite what she had said ended up slowing a little ducking to avoid the rope. A jolt of extra adrenaline flooded her as the hissing rope passed over her head. Rolling away from the rope and ahead she looked across the rope to Tim. She wasn't sure what chances they had of escaping if her parents were willing to use this kind of lethal force. She dared not make a noise herself hoping it would help in them making a slightly stealthier escape.
Grayson jumped aside and kept running for the living room down the hall to the right. If they could escape through one of the windows in that room it would be a straight shot to the ocean where Batman had a boat down in a cave along the cliffs. It was the quickest and least traveled way he could think of. Dark and quiet.

Tim ducked, wincing a bit from the shear energy crackling down the length of the rope. He met RC's eye shortly, continuing after Nightwing in their escape.

Nightwing turned right, into the living room and darted for a window. Once he got up to a large portrait window he clipped it open and looked around for a moment before jumping. There was no one in sight of the window and he knew not to wait for someone to show up.
Kai ducked under the rope and followed Grayson. The smoke moved away revealing her parents coming towards them. She knew they had to hurry if they were going to get ahead and away from them.
"They are on the side of the manor. Quickly get them! Does anyone read me?"
Though she didn't know it this was the side of the manor that had been disarmed by Dart. She chased them and shot off a few darts one hitting Kai's leg as she jumped out the window.
