"It wasn't your hands I was talking about, Angel. Though your hands are covered, the way you hold them is detectable. If there was anything I passed along onto Neb, it was how to observe people. I will not brag about it though." He sighed, and sat down finally, as the final whirr of the engines wound up.

"Much like Labrynth, I recieved most of the same information reguarding you two. However, as it was baised in Neb's view, you will find my standards slightly different. I am not your teacher. I am not your mentor. I am here to fufill only one purpose, and that's to get rid of this blasted DSA you unintentionally created, which is destroying my brother's buisness. It just so happens that you get to come along for the ride, if you so choose. I can get you close enough to your mistake for you to correct it. However, you have to stick with me if you wish to make it that far."

The ship began to take off, heading into space.

"Flights as long as these are for droids. I take only interest in the honest duel. We will be docking with a larger ship, one of the cargo ships of the company, which will take us to Bestine. We will not be stopping at the core, and from Bestine, I take you to your guide, who will administer your test. Its not a pass or fail grade that matters. It is like acid and base. It tests how far you must still go to meet your final appreciation. Any questions?"

Drake put in the code. Slowly the station lights came back on. Doors opened and Droids rushed in taking over rooms with any troops in them.

" Good work Drake. Luger... I want you to set up here. Get every thing running NOW! I have other matters to get to. Report to me when your finished. Here is a data pad with all the ships needing to be made. Get going. " With that Drako and Drake left.

" Ri! Where are you? " He commed his learner.

Solms got the sense she was feeding him a line. But the story was a good one. Had he been a less experienced Hunter, he might have fallen for it.
"Good point. I'd like to see your Pilot's Licsense though."

Rain reached into her belt and produced her liscense. "Fine. If it lets me get on with my own buisness. I want to get my transponder fixed so I can Catch my Vode before they depart."

(( Ok..... How would he know i have a clan here. All he saw was my ship. The fleet is to far out to scan. ))

Novara darted around a corner and saw him. Slowing him self he walked up slowly. He knew if he was quiet he would get blasted at.

" CALE! I want to talk to you. I am commander Novara. We have met befor. " He was still a good hundred yards from him.

"Right, right. This won't take long." He looked at the card and examined it with the numerous sensors in his helmit. The woman's picture was disticntly familiar. The woman, Rain Starwind, was the same red head he had seen leaving the auction house and the hooker he had spotted.
He had found the right ship.
He glanced at the ship for a moment, his helm scanning it with his heat sensor. He detected no other bio organic heat signatures onboard the ship.
One more thing to check.
"Ma'am, I'm going to have to ask you to remove your helmit."

Rain frowned. She suposed with her mask on, the hunter couldn't confirm her identity, but she still didn't like where this was going.
"Fine."
Rain drew her helmit off, her red hair spilling over her shoulders. She gave the hunter a cold glare as she tucked the helm under her arm.
"Happy now?"

He saw no disquises, nor could his systems detect any holograms.
She was real enough.
He handed her card back and nodded.
"Everything seems green, ma'am. Seems there was a bit of a mix up. Notheless, we're going to have to hold you here for about twelve hours until we get a scanning crew to check you out. Sorry for the delay."
The Hunter did not proceed to the docking bay exit, instead making his way to a portion of the landing pad.
He Removed one of his gloves, revealing a dark skinned, human like hand. He pressed the hand to the permacrete and focused.

His mind's eye viewed a whirr of activity: bootprints, landing pads- everything the permacrete had come into contact with. He focused on the most recent activities until he saw what he wanted. On the otherside of the ship, boots of a correllian make walked up to the wall of the bay and vanished.

His prey was on the move. But he was close. There would be no escape.
The Hunter Slid his glove back on and passed by the woman on his way out, bidding her farewell.
He passed by the officials and nodded to them.
"They're pirates alright. Keep an eye on them but don't let them leave. I'm going to go capture their captain."

((That's saying alot, since you managed to know exactly where cale was, as well as finding him with little effort... Plus, your bounty hunter is a professional.))
PostPosted: Wed May 03, 2006 5:00 pm

(( First off deductive reasoning. Thats all he had left to do beside blast his way out. Second how he know a clan was here? He could not have. Nothing pointed to it. It adds to the story thats why i dont mind. Its not like i am telling him to change it. ))

((That is not deductive reasoning. He could attack the command center, or the power, or the tractor beam projectors, or a number of components. Plus, how would you know which power cell he'd be in? Its a spaceport, multiple generators exist. And the closest one may not be the one which the power is fully regulated from. And two, deductive reasoning))
PostPosted: Wed May 03, 2006 5:27 pm

(( Master Wulf.... i am not trying to arrgue. And i said that he could blast out. But Novara thought he would be smarter then that. As for the power cell locations. Normally they would have them close for easy matinance. And deductive reasoning that a clan is with one Mando is more like assuming. But it is ok. I dont care. Its all good. Besides.... me and Cale have talked. ))

((I'm simply saying not to be a hypocrite. That is all. Aaaand Action!))
PostPosted: Wed May 03, 2006 5:44 pm

((Solms probably have ways of knowing. The fact you and your band of mando travel in your own personal armada means he thinks youre a clan. And its kind of hard to hide four dreadnaughts in the coreworlds region.))

Rain slipped her helmit on and watched the man preform his odd ritual.
She got a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.
Her mother had warned her about nonhuman bounty hunters. They often had special skills or abilities above those of humans. Gotal could read minds, Gand used rituals to predict their prey's movements, and tons of races could track by scent.
This guy had soemthing like that.
She got on the comn right away to alert Cale.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With a final crash of a piece of rebar on the control panel, Cale finished his sabotage efforts. It would take the spaceport goons at least two days to get this bay's tractors working right.
He smiled at his handy work as his comlink vibrated. He clicked it on.
"Talk to me."
"Cale? Rain. You got a hunter on your trail, a good one. Get your a** going!"
Then Novara called out to him.
"I think I found him." Cale remarked to the comlink.
Cale frowned and turned on the Mando, rebar rod still in hand.
"Yeah? what do you want bucket head?"

Novara lifted his hands up slowly.

" Thats no way to treat a friend. Come on... i got some thing for ya. I can get you out of here faster. My fleet is ready to make it look like they are the Pirates. I can get you out of here with out any problems. If you help me...."

Novara slowly moved closer.
