Akane Saito "Thank you." She smiled to Feather, calming down, since the wounds were not fatal. Akane turned to Shayla, her face expression was probably the angriest she had ever made. "I'm... I'm not some animation. Do I look so artificial to you? And I'm not "it"! I'm... Just... You..." Her anger had overflown her, so it was hard for her to say something, that made sense. But Akane usually calms down quickly, so she just smiled and laughed. "And my name is Akane. I would prefer that instead of "it". I hope you will remeber that." She then focused, remembering that she was training before. "Okay then, another skill - Flame Dagger. "

Feather Feather patted Akane shoulder. "Enough of that, let's continue." She quickly said. She ignore Shayala's thought of Akabe as an animation. It is a reasonable mistake to think Akabe wasn't even real since feather thrown a fire ball at her. But as a teacher she must continue teaching these young ones how to survive. "For the next one, flame dagger, require you to use your edge of your hands to force a single source. Like so." Feather held up her hand, into a first with her fingers curled with flames coming out from her knuckles. The fire was a blowtorch-like, shooting hot jets out of them. When she changed her hand to extend all of her finger up, flatten to a palm, flame came out from her fingertips too.

Checking over the next skill, she realized she need supplies of bones and bodies. "Castle! I need dead people. Have you made any lately?"

Rook shook his head again. "I'm a paladin. Not a ripper. I haven't hurt anyone in quite some time, to my knowledge. There might be a graveyard nearby though. I think I saw one when I was passing through town. Check it out maybe?" he told her, looking over his cleaver. he thought to himself. "Teacher, show me how to use this. Paladin skills are good, but most of the ones that I'm learning aren't quite 'monster' vanquishing"

Feather Feather look over to Rook, and his over size cleaver. "Hmm.... I don't usually seen paladins uses cleaver big as that." She thought out loud. she wasn't even sure where that type of weapon even go in the weapon style list. "I think the best way to learn wielding that blade is the basic of Great sword." She figure out the best one that fit his weapon. "Alright, First off is Buster. Hold your blade with two hands and do a downward slash with a little bit of your energy to it. Making it a stronger slice. After that, there's Cross-slash, a swing to the left than to the right along with your energy added to it. Your weapon is heavy, so your swinging won't much matter if it can't hit their target." Feather explained to him to do, test it out himself. Buster Rank: D Requires: Energy Description: This is a basic skill for a Claymore Weilder. This skill is simply one downward slash with a little bit of energy for some extra power. it is capable of smashing most boulders to pieces, and if someone is hit by it, the sword is likely to chop off a limb. Cross-slash Rank: D Requires: Energy Description: As the name says, this is a cross slash from the right side to the left added with a bit of energy for extra power. the cutting capability of this skill is similar to that of the "Buster" skill.

"Blade with whom I have lived, blade with whom I now die, serve right and justice one last time, seek one last heart of evil, still one last life of pain, cut well old friend, and then fare thee well."

"Go work out kid." Rook said to Shayla, unsheathing Bad Luck. He rolled his neck, popping it in several places. He stepped towards a dummy and took a good stance. Like a windmill, the blade went over his head, and down onto the dummy, cutting it clean in half. "I hope my enemies are more durable than this." he said, thinking out loud.
Setting another dummy up, he took Bad Luck by the hilt with both hands. He flexed a few times. This was all familiar. He remembered all this stuff. Or did he? He swung the cleaver left, and quickly brought it back opposite. Mixing it up, he threw in Buster, cutting the dummy three ways. "Deja Vu much?"
He was on a roll now. Something was stirring in him. Something was stirring in him, that was for sure. Was it some sort of light? Holding up his hand, he tried to let the light out. After checking the book Feather gave him, he realized it was really a paladin skill. He focused more, and got a bright light to shine from his hand. He was a walking flashlight now.
The light inside him was beginning to build up. He needed to release the good, and quickly. Checking the book, making a shield of light was next. He focused into his left arm, keeping a grip on bad luck. With a bit more thought, something began forming. A knight's heater. He was impressed with himself.
And still there was light. It was almost hurting there was so much. He had to figure out how to get it out of him before it burned him from the inside out. A voice commented on his pain. Rook was beginning to get pissed off. He needed to vent through his whole body. Thinking about letting it all out, an armor, made purely of light formed around his body. It released some of the light.
But it still wasn't enough to satisfy him. The talisman kept talking. He gripped Bad Luck tightly. Grinding his teeth, he whipped around towards a dummy. Performing the Buster move, a wave of light shot out, cutting the dummy in half. "Hush demon. It's not your say what I do."
He felt better now; the light was back to normal, and the talisman was quiet. He began to read more into the book on Paladins. He came across a blessing for a sword, and thought something of it. He pulled the sheath off his back, and put Bad Luck back in. He began to recite an incantation over the set, attempting to bless the weapon. Bad Luck didn't seem that much different, but he knew better.
Continuing through the pages, he found a skill that would make him, "beefy." He decided it'd be in his best interest to pick it up and put it in his skills. Standing tall, it called for focusing all the energy one had into protecting others. Not moving under any circumstance. Putting the energy into that thought, a light began at his feet. He tried to jump up, but his feel wouldn't leave the ground. So he tried falling backwards. His feet still didn't budge. For a moment. And then the spell ended with Rook hitting the ground.
He'd managed to cut himself somehow with Bad Luck. Just a little nick across his hand. Nothing huge. But he wondered if he could heal it anyway. He put a hand over the cut, and began to think, happy thoughts. Within moments, his skin was mending itself. After removing his hand from the wound, he marveled in the ability he had to heal his, or someone else's wounds. "Amazing stuff here.."

Akane Saito Akane listened and watched Feather, as she was explaining the technique. She just ignored Shayla's insult and decided that it's useless to try to be nice, if she's going to act like that. So Akane turned to the metal dummy, focusing on her training.
She decided to learn the technique without hitting the dummy first, since it would just cause sore in her fists. So Akane just formed a fist with her right hand, letting the fire energy through her knuckles. It was easier this time since she had already learned that when she practiced the fireball technique. So after a few attempts, she managed to make flames from her right hand's knuckles. Akane had some struggle with the left fist, but few more attempts and it was okay. But she couldn't make the flames come out of her fingertips. She stretched her hands and tried to concentrate on them her fingers, but the flames were still going through her knuckles. Akane was still smiling and it looked like she was making fun of her own failure. But it's just how she did things. Her happiness let her try it over and over again, without getting annoyed. So after lots of attempts, Akane finally did it - the flames were coming out from her fingertips when her hands were stretched, and when she formed fists, from her knuckles. She tried to punch the metal dummy a few times to know for sure that it works.

Feather "Very good little one, Let's move things along by learning 'fire stream' and 'flame whip'. First off you must control the fire to shoot continuous streams of flame out from your hands, making it a dangerous ranged attack. And for the flame whip, all you really must do is brag the end of you fire stream and flare it around like a whip. The fire will instane itself long enough for your use." she explain to her about the other ones, moving things along faster to learn two things at once.
Feather than look over to Rook, who couple of more things than the ones she just gave him. "Alright big guy, I want you to learn 'Royal stab, twin moon, Reliquish, outrage, and feint.' After that, you will have enough training for today. I got a job for you to test out your skills." She said to the paladin. Letting him know she has a plan for him.
egloo Flame Whip Rank: D Requires: Fire stream Description: An extension of a fire stream, this continuous stream of flame can be used as a whip. Only a range of four meters. Fire Stream Rank: D Description: Yet another basic ability. With a movement you shoot continuous streams of fire well its continuous for that post and it is a direct stream. The Urban Superstition Royal Stab Rank: C Description: After jumping high into the air the user will then position their Sword in a way that when they drop it will stab into the ground or their enemy. if stabbed into their enemy this skill has enough force to cut them clean in half, but if stabbed into the ground this skill will cause a small tremor with enough force Twin Moon Rank: C Description: This skill works great should the opponent dodge the first strike. Lunging forward at the enemy, the brings their sword from behind them and slashes diagnally upwards. Should the opponent dodge, the user spins their body, lunging forward one more time and using the momentum from the first strike to perform an even faster and stronger slash. Relinquish Rank: C Description: This skill is used to disarm opponents from their weapons, wether it be swords or guns. The user will slash their blade, spinning their sword in order to slam the blunt side of it unto the opponent's weapon. This skill, which uses blunt force more than anything else, will simply knock the weapon right out of their hands. You cannot disarm someone of higher rank with this but someone of lower rank is instantly disarmed. Someone of your own rank may dodge. Outrage Rank: C Description: This is a three part devastating attack. The first, a blow with a downward swing using only one hand. Coming down from the swing, the user will spin their body, bringing the sword behind them while gripping it with two hands. The second step, is to bring the sword from behind, straight over the head of the user and down upon their opponent. Should the user miss, the third step is to let the blade bounce off the ground, using this momentum, the user will take a single step forward, thrusting the blade into the chest of the opponent. Feint Rank: C Description: This is preferred to be use when you have to dodge and attack. You run at the enemy and then jump, driving the sword into the ground. At this moment, you kick the enemy in the face, while stabbing the blade unto the ground simultaneously. This will avoid any low attacks, as well as a boot to the head.

Akane Saito Akane smiled once again. She nodded when Feather explained the skills and was eager to start the training.
"Control the fire. Shoot streams of flame from my hands." She thought as she imagined doing it. Since it was a ranged attack, she walked away from the metal dummy, leaving a two meter distance between it and herself. Akane thought that the technique is a bit similar to fireball, she just needed to find a way to extend it. So she aimed for the dummy and punched the air with her fist, trying to release a stream of fire. It was somewhat a mixture of a ball and a stream. Akane understood that she needs to shoot the streams continuously, but she decided to concentrate on the power of just one attack. So she tried it a few times, each time it was getting slightly better, when finally she managed to shoot a normal fire stream form her hand. "What's left is to continue the attack." Akane shook her arms so that they would relax a bit and then focused again. She punched the air and shot a fire stream from her right hand, then the left, then right again. She continued to do this when she finally understood that she learned the skill.
[Fire Stream mastered]And then only the flame whip was left. It made her so happy, that she learned so much in these past two days. Using her happiness as her strength, Akane concentrated on her current objective. She was still standing two meters away from the dummy, so she made one step, so that she could definitely reach it. She stretched her right hand, shooting the fire stream she just learned and trying to control it and move it as a whip. Fire didn't let it happen so easily, though. It just scattered around and disappeared. Akane imagined the fire as an extension of her arm, so it made it a bit easier. After a dozen and a few tries, she finally made it happen. Akane controlled the fire stream completely, using it as a whip and moving it, so it could hit the dummy. [Flame Whip mastered]"I'm finally done!" She said to Feather. Akane was quite exhausted and even though she tried to hide it, it was obvious. "So, what else can I learn? Or I may be able to try my skills somewhere?" She was eager to do something, though she didn't feel very powerful and was a bit afraid of being killed on some quest.

Feather "I think it is best to test out your skills. You may not learned a lot, but I trust that you can handle this little small job I will give you. As long as you remember the important things of being an assassin." Feather said to her, confident that the young trainee can go off somewhere for a short wile. "Why not try catching a wild hog? We need some fresh meat in the Kusana's bonfire to feed some of the citizens. Do so that, and you can take the rest of the day off." Feather said to her, giving her the first mission to do in her Trainee rank.

"Could I learn a few fire skills beforehand? I feel like that would make me well rounded." Rook inquired before continuing his training.
He grabbed several dummies, and headed outside of the office. Setting them up in the yard, he began his training. He thought about the move royal stab. How high he'd have to jump to get that kind of power. He didn't think it'd be too hard, even wearing his armor. Whipping out his cleaver, with one swoop noise, he leaped into the air, and falling just as fast as he ascended, brought the cleaver down on the dummy. A clean cut, he thought to himself.
The next move was twin moon. An easy enough concept to grasp. Two cuts diagonally, each one with great force. He nodded, unsheathing his choice weapon. He stepped quickly forward, twisting his body into a spin. The cleaver caught the chest of the dummy, but not by much. With another step and twist forward, he cut the dummy clean in half at the chest. It took some work to stop the blade without being erratic, but he succeeded.
The next move was relinquish. Another easy move; this one involving using the flat of your blade to smack your enemy. He stepped forward again, bringing bad luck's side into the dummy. The dummy snapped in half, and he followed quickly with twin moon, devastating the dummy. Performing a chain of attacks worked for Rook.
Outrage seemed like a lot of work for the little reward that came with it. He set up 2 dummies. One behind him and one in front of him. Bringing the cleaver from behind him with one hand, crashing down in front of one dummy. He twisted and brought the cleaver into the dummy behind him, cutting it at the waste. With one swift step he side stepped and pushed the cleaver through the dummy. It was especially blunt.
Feint seemed somewhat useful to him, thought not much more than outrage. He busted out into a sprint towards a dummy. He was indeed strong enough to use his sword as a pole, but it still seemed far fetched. Putting the tip of the weapon into the ground, he vaulted up and over the blade, and his foot landed square in the head of the dummy. He landed somewhat on top of it though, squishing the stuffing out. He stood up and began cleaning the dummies.
"Nevermind the fire training. Let's just get on with the fighting." he said, throwing the dummies to the recycling.

Feather Feather look back to Rook, able to finished his training. With drawing the thought of learning some of the fire skills also, she'll just tell him his job anyways. "I need you to go adventure out deep in the forest. There's been reports of living skeleton wondering around for some reason. It's not un-commin, for they do turn up at times in the swamp, but we can't have them wondering around disturbing the nature and animal life. Purge them out, have them be put to rest. It'll be a easy job, I think there are about four of them out there. Return back if any wild animals decided to kill you." Feather explained to him. Rook is the best choice for this mission since he is a Paladin. A very easy simple job for even a trainee. ((Mission: Take out 2 skeleton-E rank, 3 skeleton knight-D rank in Kusana nation forest))

Shayla ~~~ Trainee ~~~ Shifting Necro Energy: 525/525 Satisfied the bones were just how she wanted them, Shayla laid them out and looked over her notes. The next thing on the list is to start animating simple dead. Stepping back, Shayla focused on the bones she had. It took not much more than a single uttering of "Surgite, o Ossibus et meam impleat voluntatem" to see the bones move and shake, rising to become a silent soldier before her.
Deciding to give him some company, Shayla figured there had to be some old fallen students here beneath the dirt of the floors. Reaching out with her will-infused power, Shayla intoned, "Veniat ad me, Lapsis bellator." A scratching could be heard as a new skeleton emerged from the ground, old dual long swords still strapped to its hip bone. It walked over to Shayla before taking a knee before her.
Looking over her notes, she noted preparations for preserving a corpse. She felt this was something easy for her to take care of. So moving along, she made sure to earmark the page for later.
Directing her two minions over to the training dummies, she watched as they did little damage to it. "Debellavit eos meus cohorte!" Shayla roared, watching in fascination as her two skeletons became almost death hungry. They utterly destroyed the small group of dummies sitting there. "Revertimini ad mecum," she commanded, making them stop their attack.
She couldn't hold the energy in her minions anymore so they both crumbled. The sword user crumbled to dust as Silver's bones clattered into a heap. Walking over, Shayla looked the bones over before double checking her notes. "Fiat protéctor meus," she commanded, watching the bones rise up to start circling her. Satisfied, she directed them back into her backpack.
Wanting to work on herself, Shayla turned the page to observe the next skill available. "Mortem ego sum licam," Shayla intoned, repeating the words as she felt the power grow and bubble to the surface of her skin. She could feel it crawling across her skin, sending out wave of unease and dread to anyone nearby. Smiling to herself, Shayla stopped her incantation,
Last on her list was what looked like an upgrade to her death bomb. Since she couldn't use the animation anymore it seemed, she settled on a dummy. Gathering the power needed, Shayla unleashed it upon the dummy, making large chunks of material fly from it.
Pleased with her work , Shayla looked back to Rook. "Let's see you top that, Castle."
