Yasuo looked back at her. "Yeah I guess your right it was a good memory. She loved both of us but Yuki didn't know how much she did till she died." He gave her a sweet smile. "I miss her a lot." He said to himself low.

Dystra smiled an touched his shoulder, "Of course you do. And that is something you will never get over. In fact, it is good to have that feeling for your mother. It keeps both you and Yuki loving her and helps you remember her." she said, happy he was opening up to her.

"You know Yuki kind of thinks of you as a mother to her. Your there for her and asking if shes ok. Shes really happy here. I will always love her." He remembered something of her. "One time she was in the kitchen making breakfast for me." He started to laugh. "All of a sudden it caught on fire she was yelling. I grabbed some water and put it out. She was smiling at me and laughed that she did that. It made her happy I was around." He started to cry he never told anyone about her.

Dystra smiled as he told her of his mother. When he started to cry she wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug, "Well, I am very happy you came to live with me." she said and smiled. She wouldn't trade them for anyone or anything. They were truely one of a kind.

He hugged her back "I'm happy too." He thought of Dystra as a mother to him. "Thank you mom." He smiled when he called that. Yuki woke up at see Yasuo gone, she walked down stairs. "Yasuo?" She said sleepy rubbing her eyes. "I think your daughter is up." He chuckled

Dystra smiled as he called her mom. She looked up at the house and laughed, "My daughter, huh?" she said and smiled again. She couldn't stop smiling when she thought of what he just said. Dystra swam to the edge of the pool, "Come on. You need to get to bed. So do us all." she said and pulled herself up and out of the pool.

Yuki walked to the kitchen still rubbing her eyes. "Awww but mom I'm not sleepy." He yawned. "Ok maybe a little tired." He got out of the pool and walked to Yuki. "This is your new mother Yuki." He smiled and she nodded. "Mom what are you doing up?"

Dystra smiled as she wrapped her robe around her, "I joined Yasuo for a late night swim. Now we are all going to bed." she said and began leading them up the stairs. She was surprised she hadn't asked any questions about the 'mom' thing. She wasn't exactly sure why, but it made her happy having them call her that.

"Ok mom." Yuki got in bed. "Hey mom can you read us a bedtime story?" Yasuo get in next.

Dystra leaned against the door frame and smiled, "Are you sure?" she asked and walked voer, sitting on the edge of the bed.

Chris frowned, now scraping along the wall next to his bed with his claws. Slowly, of course, so as to not alert the others with noise... But he couldn't stand it. Sure he lived with them... But he didn't belong here. He didn't belong anywhere, they were just keeping him here because they felt like it. He continued the scraping, and stopped when he noticed he had dug a few considerable gashes into the wall. He stared at his claw... It looked as if nothing had happened, sharp as ever. He sighed, closing his eyes and trying to sleep; trying to block out the 'family'.

Dystra laughed a little, "Alright, but just for tonight." she said and thought for a moment before she told them a story. She knew it well, though it was a simple story. When she was finished she stood up, "Alright, now go to sleep. I am going to see if Chris is asleep as well." she smiled and walked out the door, closing it softly behind her. She walke ddown the hall and pressed her ear softly against his door to see if she could hear anything. She didn't so she very lightly tapped on the door. She knew that if he was awake he would hear her.

Yasuo nodded and went to sleep. "Night mommy" Yuki closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

"Come in," Chris replied to the knock, quietly of course and quickly, almost harshly. He frowned, knowing already it was Dystra. After all, he had identified Yasuo and Yuki's breathing from hers, and he had heard Yuki say good night to her. A simple deduction, by any means. But not entirely welcome, at the moment.
