"... I'm not sure if you're kidding." Jypsum said as she scrutinized the young woman.
At the mention of "her" Cas sprang into action. He ran up to the soot covered raichu and offered to help her get cleaned off. "Rai raichu chu?" ...in the suavest way possible of course.

 Lumina had only watched while taking notes, surprised that none of the pokeballs had any effect. It didn't occur to her that it had been caught already, the poor thing.
"Will the raichu be alright?" Lumina asked as another girl crouched by the pokemon.

  It already has a trainer? Kaskia thought. She had just went with the flow, and followed everyone else in throwing the pokemon. Plus she would love to have other on her team. Kaskia felt terrible.

Rian-chan As the sounds of a guitar reached her ears Raina turned to see who was responsible for the music. Upon seeing a man playing she wandered over towards him. Her pokemon forgotten, though if she would have thought about it she would've realized they wouldn't cause any problems. "You're good." she said as she sat down beside him.
The Absol that was resting on the other side of it's trainer, rose as the female approached, growling low. Eyes opening, the male glanced to the girl. He didn't say anything, and continued to play. Seeing that his trainer was not threatened, the Absol calmed some, but kept its eyes hard on the strange female, eyes narrowed sharply. The Ponyta also snorted, ears flipping back, picking up on the other Pokemons discomfort. After awhile, the breeder barely murmured a, "Thanks..."

Opal's heart twisted when she saw the little Raichu crying. As she started over to it, a bunch of the other trainers were already by it. She groaned and looked to Nerezza. The ghost Pokemon rolled her eyes. Opal did the same and sat back on Ursalyn, petting the bear Pokemon's head.

Jenn looked in alarm at the injured, and now crying Raichu. "Oh gosh, I'm so sorry." She called to the electrifying pokemon, before turning to see the gym leader. "Oh, a different Jen. Gotcha." She muttered to herself, angry at not thinking before acting.

Flint looks over at the crowd around the crying raichu, he felt bad about trying to catch it, but really, how was he supposed to know? but all the same, he felt bad, but figured there were enough people trying to help it that he wouldn't be needed

Rhia looked at the other person who echoed the desire to offer her healer services. There were way more healers on this trip than she had expected there to be, but she smiled at the other girl.
The revelation that the Raichu's owner was missing didn't bode well. No good trainer willingly abandoned their Pokemon, and she hoped since Luna was concerned that the missing trainer was a good one.
She approached and stood behind other trainers, trying to leave space. "We should step back," she suggested at a loud decibel so it would carry. "Let me, or one of the other healers, have a look at him while his trainer's friend tries to calm him. If we're all crowded we might frighten him more."
She rested a hand on Anise's shoulder, and leaned close to whisper. "I don't think the leg is broken, but once he's calmed down we should check anyway." She took out a roll of bandages and pressed it into Anise's hand. "Here, to keep anything from tearing or fracturing further."

 When the familiar Raichu started crying was when Lamen chose to look away and get back to the tent and lie low. Other people would take care of Abiba, right? And she was sure she'd heard Luna, too. Lamen didn't want to see any crying pokemon, nope. Those tears were just too powerful. They kind of horrified her, and not much could do that. ... .....The pull was too strong.
The gray-haired androgyne got up and approached the crowd. "Luna. Hi. Is she okay?" She asked, sympathetic.

Stunned out of her tears as she was suddenly the center of attention, Abiba blinked at the gathered trainers and pokemon before tears crept out of the corner of her eyes again. With a sniffle, she buried her face in Miriam's shirt as sobs came forth again.
Whatever had happened had shocked and scared the normally carefree Raichu to her core. And this was worrisome.
Blinking past the flowing tears, Abiba stared at the familiar face of Luna and choked a bit on her words. "Rai...Raichu...Rai..."

Well... ok then. Math watched his Pokeball soar towards the Raichu and, no doubt about it, it bounced right on off. It seemed the trainer wasn't lying. All that meant, though, was that he finally had a second to catch his breath. Jaxith had already calmed down from his previous hyper state. In fact, he had done so the second the mysterious trainer reacted badly to him. Blast from the past or just a cruel stranger?
Well, it seemed he had caught up to everyone, meaning his brother and sister had to be around here somewhere. He hopped off of Jaxith and laid a hand on his side (the Pokemon was large enough for this, a gargantuan canine) while walking along, trying to spot faces around the campfires. It seemed most people had already calmed down after the Raichu incident, willing to let the trainer deal with her Pokemon in her own way, so there were plenty of people around.
"Aleeex? Peeeeenny?" he called, squinting at each face. None of them seemed quite familiar...

The commontion apparently hadn't been over with her new companion's capture, and Tabitha rose from her seated position, carrying the meowth toward where the campfire had been going before the fire had broken out. Settling down, she looked around watching the drama that was unfolding with the sootcovered pokemon. Yuzu had floated off to eye the drama and she was content to stay where she was. Looking to her left, she blinked a bit. Pity neither of the girls she'd met earlier around, especially Lumine. She might have been particularly interested in seeing this little gem.Click the picture for full size

@Opal Returning to Opal, Meeka tried her best to utter up a smile. "You hungry?" she asked, picking up Terri and hugging her close while removing her hat. "I need to make a fire but . . . I have some marshmallows and tiny sausages in my bag we can share."
