About the student reference to get sorted...
Do they have to post in the Giggling Pear or contact someone or something?

To get sorted, you have to wait until the next term's sorting. But if you accumulate 50 posts, i believe, you may qualify for an early sorting. Your best bet in posting a lot in is the Giggling Pear, Spinner's End and/or Heard it the Hallways.

I just posted a message in the Pear about the special sorting.
So those rules don't apply for this one. I think the posting is down to 25 or something
As a reference you need to contact them, or they contact you. Posting in the Pear won't guarentee they know you. I'll be making a special sorting annoucement with the answers and form and stuff.
PS I'll be editting the Homepage, Entrance Hall, and Welcome Letter with updates and stuff as soon as my computer gets fixed and I stop being busy. I'm busy all this week. When will my summer start?? lol

According to that message in the Pear, Icee, you said any house elves who weren't sorted by the time specified will be banned, right?
What if there are house elves that don't wanna be sorted that have already met the requirements a while back? Cause I know one house elf in this guild who isn't particularly interested in being sorted right now.

Hey all ok ok so yeah I updated the rules and whatnot for Quidditch yet again not all the teams have to be full to play at least 4 members need to be there and Try - outs are only for people trying out for Captians and then the captians will pick thier teams and they will inform me of who is on the team!

Helloooo out there!!!
I know, it's been a lllllllloooooonnnnnnngggggg time since I was here.
I don't think I could account for my absence in a single post. But I will say that I haven't looked at anything yet; not threads, not PM's, not gaia updates or plot lines. I also don't think I'll have time to look at it all today. Anyways, here's the quickest summary of my absence as I can give...I don't really remember when I was on last, so I'll just give you a break-down outside of gaia.
...SO...
I had a bit of an emotional break-down last fall. This was mostly depression mixed with sleep deprivation and home-sickness. Even gaia was loosing its fun for me then. So, I moved home around Thanksgiving and my laptop broke around Christmas. Well, my laptop is a 3-year-old Compaq; they don't make it anymore and my warranty ended about a year ago. But my dad designs computer chips for a living so he offered to look at it for me. (the majority of the computer was fine it was just the little port of the power cord wasn't working anymore). Well, my dad is a pretty busy guy and I took a semester off school anyway, so fixing my computer wasn't on the top of his list of things to do. It wasn't until about three weeks ago that he fixed it. During that gap, I baby-sat my cosin's kids and couldn't really go on Gaia because in my house we have a pretty strict rule about going on non-essential sites on other people's computers. (Viruses sorta killed my little sister's computer and they got on her computer through Neopets, which isn't all that different from Gaia when you break it down.) Also, all my files and what-not are on my computer, so even if I could get on I would have been frustrated not to have my usual information. Anyways, my grandmother died last saturday after having fought Uterine cancer for what seems forever, so I've been busy with that in the recent past. And I'm in a Drum and Bugle Corp this summer so my time will still be limited. And there ya go.
I know there's no way in hell I'll be able to be as active as I was and I'm so glad that you guys have kept the guild going without me. I was actually worried that it might fall apart (last I remember it was getting kinda slow.) But I suppose with then new book and movie approaching it's getting back up to it's usual full roar. If I don't get back on later today, the next time I'll be on will be Monday at the latest. (I have a Drum Corp camp this weekend starting at 6pm tonight about an hour away from my house...) In the mean time,

He's not exactly the most active member at the moment; as a matter of fact I know that he won't be on Gaia nearly at all for the rest of the month cause of work and er... me (I'm staying at his house at the moment sweatdrop ) But you've probably seen him around the Discussion forum posting every now and then.
EDIT: ...and just cause I just noticed the other post...
