He yawns noisily, blinking rapidly to push away sleep. Food. His stomach felt like it was eating itself. Stretching his back in a curve, he finally gives attention to the someone else in the room, though not quite noticing her size as he passed it off as being an optical illusion from rapid fifth stage flipping.

"Morning, Aspy," he says, stiffling another yawn. He trudges over and sits down in front of her. "What's new?"

"Really? Nothing since I last saw you?" He was merely making conversation, too busy on telling his stomach to shut up to actually study her for more than 3 seconds and notice.

Evil double-post...

She laughs a bit and looks at herself. She noted mentally that when she had grown, the blue dye on her tail hadn't, so the blotches of color were now spread out as such so that they looked faintly of mold. >.o She'd have to fix that. "Y'think so, mister observant?" she jokes with an uneasy grin."

She wiggles under his touch. "Ha. Yeah..." she mutters and makes a face. But hearing his last comment, her face begins to go blank again, save a slight furrow in the brow.

"Oh...that..." she almost whispers. Then, suddenly she blurts out a rush of sentences. "Tobias, are you sure you want me to tell you? I mean, I don't even know all of it yet or know if any of what I do know is even true. What if it's not and I make a huge deal out of this whole thing for nothing, what then?"

Her eyes drop to the floor like lead weights. "No...I gotta tell you..." she mutters, as if she just lost a fight with herself. "See...the song...it's..."

She sighs, looking around the HQ again. Gladenned that they were alone, she was faced with the fact that she finally had to tell. Might as well be Tobes. "It all started when I was a pebble..." she begins in an almost story-like fashion. "Pooling emotions...that I expressed with a melody."

Ah te-o, ah te-o, da da di di di di di Ah te-e-e-o

"The first was when I met Tawn for the first time...I was calm, pleased. Then....later I met Hanyuu. I sang the happiness back to her...and she invented a verse herself." she hurried along, wanting to get to teh point as fast as she could. Then came Mauli, and the same thing happened with her. That was when I started figuring things out. When I was with people, that nice feeling surrounded me and I sang. I thought at first it was just a friendly little friendship tune, until I had the dream."

Te-hro, te-hro, Ki chacht oh-vru, Te-hro oh-i...

She shudders. "You were there for that one. The dream I had, it frightened me more than anything ever had. When I left that day, I sang a new melody: fear. I hated that verse, but couldn't stop myself from singing it.

Dae, dae la tio-tio, dae la mi-yo Ah-li te-o, ji nu ah-li-o, te-o te-o, ah-li-o...


"Next was the day we ran in the rain. Remember that? It was one of the happiest times I ever had, and it unlocked more words. These were...jubilance, ecstacy." she pauses. "But something bothered me. I couldn't stop singing. And when I finally did, something clicked inside me and I suddenly knew-- I don't know how I knew, mind you-- what was going on."

Ouii, de de lii oh, nah mo, nah mii, ouii de, li de, nah-me ooh...

"Then...I sang anger when you left. I was mad at myself for not stopping you, mad at you for leaving us behind. The new words hurt, but they came anyway."

She stops. She must sound so frantic, so incomplete. But it was nice just to say everything out loud. Even if she didn't know the end.

"I realized that the song came every time I felt something new. I've counted the emotions: content, fear, exuberance, anger. I know there's more. There has to be." she began stumbling over her words, angry for being so vague with her explanation. "The only other feelings I can think of are love and sadness. And when those become unlocked...I have a feeling something big will happen, and I hate it, because I have no idea as to what it could be."
