Drom watched her run off. "No, not at all, its been fun actually, my people aren't so Xenophobic, and I'd like to have that talk" Boro smiled as Arzachel vanished. "Oh yes my friend, I think it will be sooner then you think." Boro smirked and let out a thunderous laugh.
Cut:"In fact I think it will come much sooner then you think, your pupil needs a lesson in patience." The large pack leader said as if to himself, knowing Arzachel could still hear. Boro dashed off quickly, the forest giving him greater speed, within seconds he was directly in front of the young lady. Veins bulging in his face he roared. "Your attitude is one thing, but at your age you shouldn't be so damn slow!" He huffed. "My kind are fiery in temper, and impetuous in action, and even with my 'childish' behavior on top of that, why is it still you're the one who has no control?" He paused to allow that to sink in, and quickly digressed. "Did my actions or attitude seem realistic? You! Foolish one! Can't see intent; thus you've played right into a trap, you're alone, in the denseness of the forest, at your weakest." Drom Boro stared her down, a cold icy expression in his eyes.

Eve reached her apartment around midday, devoid of any and all energy. Out of instinct she fled to the darkest part of her home, basking in it's cool shadows. She would rest until nightfall, then return to feed...
Adelle cooed at the touch. "I understand father. I hope to be like you some day in the far future. You're like the patient observer. I rarely see you use violence as a means of communication, like so many others do." She eyed his vast library. "May I borrow a novel? Perhaps If I have something to read, time will pass more quickly."
[ EDIT: No Killinger. Fix your post. I've been letting this sit here for the longest, I just haven't submitted it. I will not have conflict with your psychotic wolf. D8 ]

Cooro nodded, "Feel free to borrow any of them my dear." Cooro said to cover the shock that shot though her marble features. Listening to her words he relaxed and gently patted her shoulder. "You are well on your way to being an exceptional vampire. I am very proud of your choices." He said walking around to his chair and sitting down again.

Adelle stepped towards a bookshelf at random, and began to trace along each spine. There were many a literary classic that she had read over the years; even being present for the publication of some that mortals cherished present day. And yet, even a vampire could not devour the contents of every worthwhile book known the man. Adelle trusted her father would have a good selection, and an excitement lit up her face as she found no disappointment. "Oh, I remember this one." She gently pulled the aging novel from it's place. "Jane Eyre was one of the few I enjoyed. Charlotte's sister wrote some promising work as well. Thank you father. I shall be off until the sunset."

Cooro nodded, "Enjoy your reading Adelle." he said looking up from the book he had open again on his desk. "It shouldn't be too long now, I believe just a few hours until sunset."

Adelle fell to sleep with the novel clutched to her breast. At a preternatural pace, she had managed to devour two hundred pages within a relatively short time.
Somni sat at a local cafe, cordially addressed the waitress, and ordered a cup of coffee. With a sigh, he anticipated yet another night. More war to be had, lives to be taken. His race didn't look kindly upon war, considering their dwindling numbers. Somni valued solitude, rather than aggression. And with the setting sun overhead, he took a slow sip of the steaming liquid; let it slide down his throat, coating warmth, and took off for their sibling's bakery.

Cooro stood up from his desk and placed the thick book he had been reading down on his desk. He shook his head, "Of all the contraptions made in this world books are certainly the most fascinating." He commented lightly. Cooro walked to the window and pulled back the curtain. The last embers of the falling sun trickled in though the window and bathed his cold face in their warm essence. The sunlight, as soon as it touched the smooth, pale, skin, it took on the appearance of a diamond. The sharper angled of his face seemed to become more defined, and the rest of his face, if possible, became even more smooth in appearance. He held out his hand to the sunlight and watched the transformation. The same thing happened to his hand, and as he watched dimly he could see the window pane on the other side of his hand though it.
Cooro shook his head and placed his hand to his side, "That's still messed up." With a crooked grin etched into his diamond like face Cooro allowed the curtain to fall. He thought about taking Adelle to find Mara where ever that wild child ran tonight. Cooro felt pretty sure though that she was okay.
Hours later not much had happened. Mara had stayed away from the warm windows and kept to the shadows. She trusted Zack with all her heart, after all he knew her secrete and probably, if he had wanted, he could have killed her already. But she found that as they day passed she became more and more calm as she spent the day at his house.
Mara also noticed, as the curtains covering the windows turned to a light orange, that nice was falling. She lay back in his chair and watched Zack. "So Zack, what should we do tonight?" She asked softly. She would understand if he needed to stay home and sleep, after all it was a human necessity.

Zack shrugged and smiled at Mara. "I dunno... I had nothing in mind. Was there anything that you wanted to do?" He asked her curiously. "Would you like me to escort you to your place? I'm sure that Cooro would like to check in with you... I mean, you saw how Lucius was last night." He told her with a pleasant smile.

"Perhaps we could meet Cooro somewhere." Mara suggested. "I am sure he would like to get out and stretch tonight." She said. "What do you think of a walk? It could be fun, just a midnight stroll. Will you be okay to make it? Did you get enough rest today to satisfy your needs?" She asked in an concerned tone. "I would really hate for you to get sick from lack of sleep."

Zack shook his head. "No, I'm fine. I slept when we got back." He reassured Mara. "I dozed off when you were absorbed in something else... sorry. Hey! I just had an idea!" Zack brightened considerably at the thought. "I think that maybe Lucius and Cooro might be interested in meeting each other. What do ya think of that?" He asked her.

Mara nodded, "I think that would be a lovely thought. Cooro, I am sure, would love to meet Lucius! Cooro loves new people. Perhaps he could find out what Lucius is! That is a wonderful idea Zack!" She exclaimed. Taking his hand she jumped to her feet. "Should we go ask him, right now?" Her eyes gleamed with excitement.

Zack chuckled as he stood up. "Sure! I don't see why not. He's never busy on evening, but I think it will be good for him to have someone to talk to." He told her. Zack opened the door to his room and led Mara to the living room. Lucius was sitting on a chair, reading a book when they came in.
Lucius looked up and smiled. "Well, hello you two!" He said cheerfully, marking his place in his book. "What can I do you for? Something up?" He asked curiously, noticing a particular shine in their eyes.

Mara bobbed along behind Lucius. Her energetic self was giving away how excited she was. "Well we wanted to go out tonight." Mara began feeling that she could not keep quiet any longer. "And we wondered if you wanted to come along and meet my father, Cooro." She said with a giddy and happy expression filling her face. "I am sure you two would get along, and Cooro loves to meet new people!" She exclaimed. "So what do you think sir?" She added wanting to still appeal to his formal side.

Lucius thought for a moment and then smiled. "Well, I think that I would be delighted to meet your father." He said standing up and putting the book on the side table. "This should be a good change for me I think. Your father sounds like a nice person, Mara." He told her. Lucius stood up and straightened his attire. "Well then... I suppose that you two should lead the way. You're the ones with the sense of direction, after all." He said with a bright smile.

"He is quite amazing." She said with a secrete smile. "He's not my real father, but he's as good as a father to me, he took me in when I was an abandoned cold one. Mara giggled. "Well then, we can get going when you both are ready." She looked from one to the other. "Is there anything you need to get? I could call Cooro and set up a place to meet him if you need to get anything." She offered. She believed Cooro was home. Perhaps he would bring Adelle with him also. She wanted to see her sister again.
((Thank you for the posting fun! I really really enjoyed it! It reminded me of old times. heart Thank you, but sadly my bedtime has come and I must go. Take care! I'll talk to you more tomorrow hopefully! Nighters))
