he noticed her love of technology as he shared it and, somethin about it made his face blush just looking at her, something in his ead clicked at tha moment ad he would never look at her the same way he nervously said
"Feel free to take a look Emelia, if you know anythign about it i need you to take it apart and find out whas wrong.....where's myles?"

(again...dear lord you guys gonk your all going super fast now its hard to keep up!)
Daniel was a bit miffed. he had introduced himself to the new arrival only to have him walk away and head below deck...
Scratching his head, he hears the incoming signal from the clank in the engine room. "What the bloody hell?" Daniel grouses, "Does every one have my personal headset number...."
Concerned that Nysth may have indeed gone into another rage again, Daniel heads up into the balloons that contained the engines. after making sure things were well on deck of course.
------
In the engine room, Daniel finds that Nysth has already left and a pile of parts laying all over the floor from the fallen clank. Most of the parts seemed to have fallen out of joint, aside from the torso which had been slashed. "Somethings not quite right here... Nysth doesn't have a blade long enough to do this kind of damage." From what he remembered Nysth favored his silver knife. He also notes the missing clanks head.
The machines around the large engines seemed to be working smoothly, Daniel had worked around engines long enough to know how they should sound. (but not how to make them work) Was there a pirate or two still up here?
Daniel takes a moment to look around.

"I've never seen such things before. It's far more intricate than anything I have ever worked on." She peered at it again, although keeping her hands planted firmly at her sides.
This was where she could be useful, this is what she was bred to do: repair, fix. Time spent in her father's lab, fixing what he had broken...
She shook her head. "No, I'd rather not touch anything. They're not mine to fix. I don't know how they're made, and even if I could see a healthy one, I doubt I could repair this. If something's wrong, you'll need a Spark to fix it more than likely." She looked up at Nysth. "Are you sure it was malfunctioning? Maybe it was one that was programed medically and saw the blood..."
She was rambling again, stepping in where she had absolutely no right at all to be. She was a passenger, and a lady. "I'm sure the captain can figure something out."

((Sorry Cap! S'not intentional! lol))
Abigail shook her head.
"None of the clanks had been programmed for medical purposes just yet. They were still being stretched between gunners and general maintenance; no other specifics had been programmed. Even the one I had working for me was still primarily heavy lifting and such."

"Then if no one is here that knows what to do about this i suppose we wait for the captain, this hting" Points at the clank head "Cant go anywhere so it doesnt get damaged."
he stepped outside and stood by the wall incase someone who might have an answer stepped by and waited.

(( It was a different clank that made the report in person, so to speak, cap'n. ))
No mechanic actually works on the clanks. Ever since their arrival they have repaired themselves, so it hasn't been necessary. They don't even need a crew member to wind them ever since building that device in the corner of the hold. That device accounts for a portion of the junk, but there was a lot more of it.

((Yeah, they're robots. Ever seen Venture Brothers? I always pictured them like HELPER. Before the one that confronted Nysth, the clanks had always been pretty docile and helpful, taking orders and never revolting against the crew. Now this one's manhandled Nysth and then took itself out with weaponry it wasn't supposed to have.))

((Thank you very much, darling.))
Zee has been lingering in the background, watching the crew discuss this "clank." He never knew their name, really, but he had seen them before. He shifted weight on his feet and coughed once to get their attention. They probably hadn't noticed him lurkering in the background. "Bye the bye, I've traveled over many a'land in my balloon. We passed over this one place. The name has left me, I believe it began wit an O. I have seen buildings pour out steam before, but never in these amount. Things that looked like that clank you go there were being shoved into steamobils marked "Weapon Arsenal." Perhaps this one came from there. Maybe they're breedng a new kind. Maybe I've been up in my balloon too long. I ain't hear about any wars. How odd..."
Zee realized he had been rambling and talking. How unlike him. He shut up quickly and folded his arms over his chest.

((Anytime.))
Abigail turned around, leaning on the table and crossing her arms in thought. She had completely overlooked the grounded cities. Many were powder kegs just waiting to blow, war or rebellion was hardly an overblown thought. Perhaps Zedock was onto something here.
"I'm not sure where exactly this batch came from. I doubt the ship came with them, someone had to bring them aboard." Abigail raised an eyebrow and looked over the people in the room, noting that out of all of those present she had been onboard the longest so none of them could know the answer, it would require one of the other mates.

(( Was anyone around when Daniel got them from Ms. Bruno? Has any other crew member even heard of her? On a tangent, why is everyone assuming the things are dangerous to people? It only tried to get Nysth to leave, and when he resisted the thing offed itself instead of attacking him directly. wink ))

"Cloulda been a stow away on the pirate ship, no? They might be interesting in an evil clank, I'd think. But what do I know." Zee leaned bac kagainst a wall, stroking Stae's back as the spider clung to Zee's shirt, buzzing softly.

((I know who she is but Abigail doesn't and I don't think anyone currently in the medbay knows her either. I'm going to wait for one of the older crew to show up before I bring the owner up.))

looking back at the broken machine, Danile breifly thinks of the 3 laws of mechanics, but dismisses the notion as these clanks had helped in the fighting .
Daniel activates his headset, if he had been patched into nysth before he must be able to hear him still. checking about the engine compartment he finds nothing amiss, and no errant vistors.
"Nysth what is your location? I have had a look at the mess in the engine room, frankly i cant understand any of this. the clanks was damaged all to cleanly, aside form it falling apart. if you had raged again i doubt your knife could do this much damage."
(3 laws of mechanics are the steam equivalant of the 3 laws of robotics but with a much looser set of rules. also no one but Eli and Dan met her at the beggining, only they would recognize her.)
