Mizar was deeply involved in accessing the computer, but responded.
"Not at all. The computer terminal is used for security codes and the like, but I'm lucky to get some schematics of the area. The only way to get outside contact is through a control room."
Mizar watched as data was uploaded into his computer.
"According to this, the nearest control room is the one in the marine facility. Now, there should be some kind of elevator that would bring us down there nearby."
He finished the upload, and turned to Jake.
"Now, we just go through the hall here and we'll come upon an elevator. It'll bring us below the island itself and into the facility. Once there, we can find a control room, access the radio there, and perhaps call for help. Then again, what outside contacts do you have? Calling the government is a bad idea, and just plain stupid."

"That's none of your concern who I'm calling. Also, if I was going to call the government, don't you think I'd have some better equipment than this second hand junk I call an arsenal?" He asked, laughing at his own joke. "Either way I'm calling people I trust, I want them to bunker down, bringing as many as they can with them. This s**t isn't over. Not by a long shot by the look of this place." Jake shuddered. "God, zombie sharks..." He said.

Mizar stared blankly at Jake and walked down the hall, reaching two large blast doors. He hacked into the nearby terminal with his computer, opening the doors and stepped into the large elevatar. The shaft went diagonally downward, with the elevator itself only a large platform, and the shaft walls made of thick glass.
"I'm not doubting your arsenal. If anyone has crappy equipment it's me. Lasting on two magazines for one handgun for an entire year isn't easy."
He motioned with his hand for Jake to step in, then tapped into the control terminal to close the blast doors and start the descent.

Jake plucked three magazines off his belt and chucked them to Mizar. I've got plenty. Just remember to save one round." He said, smiling gravely. "How in the hell is our evac going to get here anyway?"

"...............................................", Naiya silently walked soon stopping when she heard something coming from behind her. "........................", she quickly pointed her guns in that direction, but nothing. The moment she turned around a couple of Lickers jumped towards her. "Not too smart huh?", she said as she continued walking as metal spikes drilled into their heads.

Mizar watched the passing glass walls as they were descending deeper into the island; soon they would be under the water. He turned to Jake.
"I do not have any plan of escape. I meant to get this virus sample and find it out from there. Did you plan to get out of here eventually?"

"I planned to use my now destroyed boat. I could rely on two men, but they don't need to be dragged back into this s**t. I gave them an exit once, no need to reenter them into this hell." He said. "Best damn people I've ever met."

Mizar stood still as the elevator reached the bottom floor. He tapped a button on the terminal, and the blast doors slid open.
"Partners, huh? It's good to have a buddy by your side in sticky situations, I agree with you."
He walked through the doors, and stepped out onto a walkway. He looked over the edge. The room was gigantic, a singular walkway stretching across the room. The floor below was lined with large electric pylons, electricity coursing through them. He looked at the other end of the long room; more elevators and doors.
"This room must be used for electric transfer and control. Take care not to trip and fall over.

Jake looked around in awe. "Maybe we shouldn't shoot down here." He said. "I honestly don't see why we should get crushed by ocean when we were this close." He holstered his guns. "Where's this radio?"

{Well, Clark Seed is looking for a way out of the labs, Mizar and Jake are in the marine facility, Naiya is exploring the labs, Oricai and Gerard are on the surface. Oh, and CC, what should be done with the Jake Skullington situation?}
Mizar pointed forward. He started walking across the walkway.
"This radio is deeper in the facility. There's no doubt that we'll run into some kind of security. It looks like the virus hasn't leaked into this section yet."
Mizar walked forward, his foot going through a green trip laser. An alarm sounded, and the elevator doors behind them started closing. Mizar looked forward; the elevator ahead of them started to close as well.
"Quick! An alarm has been activated; let's move!!"

Jake grabbed the man and ran. He noticed a grate and he quickly upholstered one of his guns and shot it open. He pushed the man forward. "In! It's probably a maintenance shaft!" He pushed him in and followed him down.

Mizar was clumsily pushed up the shaft like a weightless doll into a ceiling shaft, Jake right behind him. He crawled further down the shaft, leaving space for Jake.
"That was not the most graceful escape, but it worked just fine. Security must be tight here."
He looked down through the grate.
"Security personell; full ballistic armor and everything. We'd better stay out of sight."

Jake sighed. He followed Mizar down the shaft. "Well, we're probably going to die now, at least it'll be from a fair bullet wound rather than overwhelming teeth."
