"Yeah, sure I'm fine," the teenager laughed embarrassedly, trying his best to pretend the scrapes on his face did not exist.

"Okay. Well, I don't think we could miss the thing, so you can go ahead and take care of it," Moria told Link.

"I suppose I could give it a try," Link remarked as he came to his feet. Silently, he snuck over to the entrance of the maze, keeping tight against the wall. He was in the perfect position to attack, but there was only one problem, he couldn't tell which way the beast was facing, "Gus, go check to see if the coast is clear," he whispered his eyes darting between the maze and the fairy.

"Right." Gustave said, and flew on forward. He looked around, and seeing nothing, he flew back. "Coast is clear." He replied to Link.

Link nodded to the fairy before entering the cave. Gus was right, the beast seemed to have it's back turned to him. Now was the time to strike. Carefully, the blond lifted his left arm and aimed. with a simple pull of the trigger, the large chain shot out and a large claw clamped onto the boar's back, pulling the boy along behind it.
The monster seemed panicked as Link latched onto it's back, tossing and turning trying to throw him off. Carefully, the teenager switched hands on the claw that was keeping him on and with his left hand he grabbed at the sword on his back. With a few quick slashes, the beast fell, and like the other monsters he had met, vanished.

Gus smiled, and said, "Good job..." In a low voice...

"I'm sure there are more where he came from," Link replied, staring down at the ground, "You should probably stay out front just in case, Gus." With those instructions in mind, he nodded towards the kokiri who was now beside him in a way that said, Lead the way.
Moira walked on ahead carefully and silently as not to alarm the beasts. After turning a few corners, she heard the heavy sound of feet nearby and stopped abruptly, staring at the yellow fairy.

"Lemme guess... look on ahead...?" Gus said, and looked around... He proceeded onward, noticing nothing out of the ordinary...

At that moment, the monster turned the corner. Spotting the fairy, it charged, to mindless to realize that it could easily fly away.
(BTW I coan't remember the thing's name, what is it?)

"Oh no. A... pig-thing is charging at me. What should I do?" Gustave said, sarcastically, and flew away... He then returned to Link, saying, "Watch out... there are things up ahead..."

"I think I can handle this," Link smirked as the moblin passed by, still charging. Once again the Hylian stepped into the maze and launched the claw. a few moments later, the creature vanished just like it's brethren, "Alright, let's go."
The Kokiri once again dived into the maze and began winding her way through. From time to time, they would come across a monster, but Link proved himself a more competent swordsman then he thought and managed to slay them all, being hit only once. An hour later the group emerged from the maze, a large staircase in front of them.

"Try and see what happens?" Moria proposed. "Just make a run for it. If that doesn't work, we try something different."
