Madison bit her lip in concern. That was until the foul sting and taste of blood hit her. She almost let out a yelp in surprise. The topic of his family didn't seem like it disturbed Fang much but more or less make him a little...restless. The need to feel that she had to completely understand his family hadn't risen in her and she doubted it would. Her mind wondered to the conversation she and Yi Xian had had earlier. Family is just a word. It's true meaning was a bond that elapsed time, space, gender, age and species. It almost calmed her to think of it that way. It wasn't an uncommon phrase to be muttered in the underground. Even the hardest of people would at least mutter away from others. It would matter not that a loved on had died or left, they would forever remember and love them in both mind and heart. She repeated it to Fang, looking longingly out and up at the stars. Each seemed to be a sequin sewn on a large stretch of blue silk that she could stroke if she reached just high enough. Her fiery creation seemed to think the same as in a swift movement not only had it turned around but taken off into the sky as well. It wouldn't last long though. She couldn't keep it up for more then a few metres unless she were to give up talking to fang. She could of course have called it back but to do so seemed almost...well controlling. More or less she was curious to see what it would do. After all she had never known any man made creation to truly have a mind of its own. Then again it could even be a reflection of her feelings since it had taken off just as she had wanted to reach up and touch the stars.

Fang listened and smiled. She was right. He looked up at the stars as well, seeing the beauty of the sky once more, but somehow seeing it in a different way. He wasn't sure how it seemed different, but it did. Somehow seeming more beautiful and majestic to him tonight. He sighed softly and watched as the creature flew off into the sky, looking like a shooting star going up instead of down. It was amazing how beautiful the sky could look if someone saw it the right way... Like through the eyes of a child who was happy and care free.

((that was a lovely and strangely inspiring interpretation eek ))
Madison smiled back at him .Tonight was a beautiful night. Too good yo just sit down and watch. She was hit suddenly with an idea and stood up. She offered her hand down to Fang. Would you care to dance? Her voice suggested that weather he said no she would probabbly excercise her legs either way with a couple of spins.

He looked up at her, a little bit of curiosity in his eyes. "With what music?" He asked softly.

Madison laughed. A valid question. She put her hands on her hips and looked around. Well if you'd prefer we could go to the library? She decided inteatd to do a few turns on her own, just to excercise her legs.

"If that is what you'd like to do. I don't mind." He said and smiled. He remembered mother teaching him how to dance at an early age. He always wondered why she had, but guess he knew now. He stood up and dusted himself off.

More or less pulling Fang to his feet she twirled herself around, raising his arm so she could go under. IUf we did go we could probabbly get you some books out, sorry I couldn't bring them today. Meeting you was a little unexpected. She laughed. Pulling in a little closer to him.

(( S'okay. I understand. ))
"It's alright. Going to the library sounds a little fun right now.." He said softly. He wondered if the dead were watching them right now. Watching them dance in a place where happiness was scarce. If they were, it probably pleased them to see a little cheer once in awhile.

Madison smiled, doing a final turn until they both faced the exit of the cemetery. She stopped dancing and faced Fang. I guess we could always pick up a gardening book or two if you still want to plant some roses. She stopped and thought for a moment. There was always a chance that they would grow again, why give up after one try after all? ((I'll post first in the library))

Claudia passed under the gate of the cemetary with a look of sadness on her face. She stopped for a moment and took a deep breath to steady herself. She pressed the dozen red roses she was holding a little closer to herself. Very slowly, she started walking and stopped when she approached a fresh grave. After kissing the roses, she placed them on the fresh mound. She sat next to the headstone as tears slowly started to fall down her cheeks.

Quinn tripped over a raised cobblestone beneath his feet and stumbled, putting a hand out to catch the fence for balance. In the other hand the map he'd gotton earlier from Madison crinkled. Straightening and looking at the map again his nose scrunched up in annoyance. He didn't recognize this side of the cemetary. It wasn't the side he'd passed buy. This side had a number fo crypts, while the side he'd passed earlier had nothing but small tablets and shrubbs. He'd turned the wrong direction somewhere. This was the third time in just an hour he'd ended up having to re-trace his steps from a miss direction, and he was getting desperate to find his way back home. Or at least wher he thought home was. It was dark and it was cod and the tea and fire from Madison's cabin were fading. He aslo didn't want to stay out here at night... some of the things the girl had said had warned him that there were things to be wary about here. He stopped looking at the map and looked up at the starry sky. "Well Q... this is a fine mess your in now isn't it?" and sighed tiredly.

Kimiko heard a male's voice and grinned widely to herself. She'd been etching designs into the side of an ancient tomb, the way she was crouched hiding her rather perfectly. She shifted silently and popped up from the side of the marble and cement box, head tilted as she looked to the stranger. Lost? she pipped, grinning still. Cemetaries aren't a place you want to lose yourself in, you know.

Quinn startled and turned quickly towards the fence (he be on the outside) and looked through to see a girl peeking at him from aroudn the corner of a tomb. He gave her a goggly eyed worried look. "That's why I'm on the other side... though it doesn't seem to matter much since I"gotten myself lost already.... well... more lost...." he got a pained expression on his face remembering how uttelry out of his league he was then looked back at the girl, thoughtful. He should be more warry about people runing around in graveyards at night... but he really needed to find his way. "Though being lost in cemetary's doens't seem to bother you. Do you know this... area? I'm new... and... welll... yeah. Map doesn't seem to be helping much as it should..." and he smiled conciously, bouncing on the balls of his toes nervously.

I'm new too, actually, Kimiko started, stepping around the tomb to creep closer to Quinn, taking careful steps over the uneven, worn grounds. She giggled and moved to place her hand on the chainlink fence, fading through it to move around to the other side of Quinn. I've only been here a few days. This is the first night I've had time to explore, but from what I can see, it's not that complicated a place to make your way through. She giggled inwardly as she observed the boy. Such strange clothing he was wearing!

/She.. jsut.. walked... through..the... fence.../ Quinn openly stared at her for a moment, then shook it off. It was becoming very obvious to him that normal here was absolutly not so. He blinked a few times and then just smiled meekly again, trying not to think to much since he'd probalby sart paniking. He just had to be careful to run at the first sign of claws, fangs, or a madened tinge in the eyes.... he hoped. "Hehehehe.... well... it might be not that complicated, but it seems to want to keep me lost one way or the other.... I trying to get here..." He pointed to an area north of the cemetary by quite a ways. "My Aunts house is there... I think. I left this morning and I've been wandering around all day, 'cept for a few stops. I'd like to get back so... ya know... I won't be lost anymore." *sweatdrop* ((P.S.: he not be wearing his hat.))
