Such a shame that these cool events must coincide with my least enjoyable of days.
But at least the White version will inevitably be mine. And I'm only 50 bucks away from the 3DS.

Today, I decided ******** it. I paid off Pokemon White completely and pre-orded Black alongside it. I've never gotten two versions at the same time before.
Also, I finally got Inception on DVD. Super excited. Also got Jurassic Park.
Which should I watch first?

Medeus Pssssh....I remember the Good ol' days when there were 150 pokemon..... stare Mewtwo sucks. So does Pokemon Red and Blue. No, not really, but still. Psychic-types were unfair, Ghost-types couldn't do s**t to them, there was no point in getting a Dragon-type and competitively the game was overall unbalanced. Don't get me wrong, I love those games, but as a live-long fan of this series, I personally always welcome new entries into the series. I'm one of the true fans, not the "fans" that go "durr, it should've ended at Gen 1 (or Gen 2 on a good day)." @Reg: You don't like Jurassic Park?

Ghost types existed to counter the very OP Psychics. They didn't do a very good job at it.
Then again, the reason why Psychics were OP in the first place is because every Pokemon and it's grandmother was part poison in the first generation. There's also the low Defense issue.

Okay, plans for tonight are to eat dinner at the university cafeteria, then watch Inception, then put on Red VS Blue while I work on my FireRed LP. I've been putting off Chapter 6 for too long. Too much college and Oblivion.

Gen 1 really didn't have many cool pokemon creativity-wise... and not that I didn't like it... I just had to much trouble really getting into the movies.

I like the new gens, but they just kinda fell short on a chunk of pokemon. They could have been better. As for Pokemon White, I need like $5 more. :/
And I don't know if I should put the $30 I have towards White, or towards my much needed housing application...

I've absolutely hated most of the new pokemon, but Black and White's done a really good job.
