Medeus Pssssh....I remember the Good ol' days when there were 150 pokemon..... stare GET WITH THE TIMES! scream Back then there wasnt even a POINT to having a Dragon type... There were only 3 of its Kind! Same for my favorite, Ghost types! D: And all were on the same Evoltionary chain. And don't even get me started on its lack of Ice types...

I am incredibly thankful for the addition of more ghosts. Gengar is still my favorite though.

J of The Wind Wantcookie Haha, planning. biggrin When I get Black (give it a month or so, I've got more important things right now), the only things I know I want are the chandelier and the bugs that switch costumes. Rhed and I will each pick up one and swap for the other. Everything else can come at me as it likes, true to a first experience for a pokemon game. Plan? What plan? Those are just my favorites! I don't EV train and all that nonsense. I just REALLY want all of those mons~ heart That's what I mean, though. I looked over the list and committed to only a couple because I'd rather not make plans about what my team might be. (although it's likely going to be filled with Steel Types anyways xd ) I can't stand EV training, it's useless time put into a useless cause. The real fun in the game doesn't come from proving you can manipulate the numbers better than the next person, it comes from trying interesting strategies noone else has thought of. For instance, if you're going through a triple battle with someone, having sets of the same species 'mons with the same names and different movesets (preferably all with the Regeneration ability) would make for some interesting psychological warfare, no? Your enemy will they think they've figured out that you keep switching out your dear pokemon to refill its health, and then be startled to see the thing they were so sure they killed be sent out once more.

I EV Train :3
It's fun for me. One of my greatest joys in the series is raising up my "perfect team" for the game. I have trained teams for Platinum and HeartGold so far. I'm gonna play through White normally on release, and after it's been out for a bit, I'm gonna think about how I can make the 'mons I chose my first time can be made into my "perfect team" of the game.
