Basically, it was my mistake. There is no getting around that. The Carmel police sent in a 17 year old, dressed him up to look like he was over 27, which is the age we are allowed to let it slide. I forgot to card him. Got a fine of $50 and was fired on the spot for selling to a minor. My store manager didn't want to let me go, but district said I had to go.
I wasn't even suppose to be at the register. I was suppose to be on my aisle, but I was back-up for the one on register and we were busy getting people through the line and unloading the truck we had just gotten.
Like I said, it was my mistake. Sure, I'm still a little upset on how strict it is, but that's how life goes.

I miss my grunny i got during that halloween event, but, now we have the items XDD so happy!!
and i swear that same exact thing that happened with Evelyn happend to my roommate... the girl (i think girl) came in during a really busy time and asked for a pack of ciggerettes. he was so busy, he just sold them to her. it was a trap and he had to get fired. his boss really didnt want to but had no choice. he was so upset for a long time about it too.

It's been crazy here, because the smoke from all the fires has been clouding the sky. last night and this morning, the moon was blood red. creepy, but cool. and the sun was red as well, but i dont know for how long, because i was up all night and finally fell asleep around 9am.

I've heard about the Carmel in California. They pronounce it differently than the Carmel (Car-mel) here in Indiana. X-D I wish I lived in Cali, but I'm in depressing gray skied Indiana. xP
One of the shift managers said they should have gone on strike. Everyone liked me from what I've heard. X-D;; Don't know why, though my boss, Brad, said I had a great personality and I got along with everyone. It sucked even more because Caran was at work at the time and went into shell shock after I left.
