No offense; I just meant to say that, if given the option, I'd gladly converse with a headless cockroach rather than this idiot. So someone of genuine intelligence, and coherency to boot, is quite refreshing.

Seriously; this is mine. It's like 50 years old...wonder how much it's worth
This is a sort of prison sentence for me; my kind can exist outside of our physical form for a short period of time, but after a while, we're pulled back into our bodies. So, our prison system consists of blocking that return so the soul just latches onto the nearest body. I was falsely accused of trying to assassinate my liege lord, and sentenced to this idiot...

*Grabbing up the quarter, he got to his feet, checked to make sure he hadn't left a dent in the wall, and sat back down in his seat*
-until he dies. Thankfully, my sentence will likely be short, from the looks of it... could you do that again? That was a pretty good one. I'll have to try that next time I manage to seize control of one of his arms.

Well, if there's nobody around for miles, I'm dead. Otherwise, I just latch onto the next warm body I find, free to jump around as I please till I find a portal back home.
You guys have anything good for 25c? It's a really shiny one.
And if they have ANY idea what sort of smegging idiot they bound me to, they'll realize that even if I HAD tried to kill the man, I STILL have more than served my penance.
Gotta be worth at least 45c...

When they locked me in here, they realized just how stupid he really is and told him, rather than what they had really done to him, that his shirt was possessed by an evil spirit, and that THAT was the source of the voice he was hearing. I've tried to explain a million or more times what really happened, but in the end he somehow came out of it believing that shirt-buttons are spirits of evil, barely held in check by button-holes. It was funny, at first; I let him go on with it until he blew apart the back-room of a JC-Penny.
