Rylenn sort of jumped when he was touched by Far. It wasn't that he didn't like affection.. he just... not at that moment. He rubbed his arms and looked to the side. "M'sorry, but.. no... I can't. Not right now. I'll just follow after in a vain attempt to think of something else, but I don't want to talk to anyone."

RuiZhi was also awake, but it would be more unusual to find the boy sleeping than not. Alex had, somehow, entered during one of those unusual moments. He still knew she was back; he could hear the angry exclamations from the doctor, and Herei's voice on the heels of it. So, they were all back...that was such a relief. The boy sighed quietly, his shoulders slumping as though a great weight were lifted.

When Weiyuan moved, he also sat up, taking off his glasses and rubbing his eyes. He had a feeling the day was going to be far more tense than when the three were missing, for now actions had to be taken to cure the reason they were all here to begin with. The boy put his glasses back on, blinking over at his brother as the elder started his morning routine. It was good to see the old Wei back, the one who let things roll of his back like water, the one who greeted the new day with a workout and went to bed with a peaceful mind. Since the brothers had been together, that meant...

RuiZhi looked around in the darkness, spying three forms near to each other. It was Farlest! And Ka'hmesh, and...Rylenn? He couldn't help but wonder what the other was doing so far, but he had an idea that it had to do with Wei staying with himself. He had needed his brother's presence, but he felt guilty for taking him away from Rylenn. He wanted to go talk to his friend, but he'd wait for the other two to disperse first; he could tell by the way Rylenn was holding himself that he was upset. He sighed again, standing and brushing off his garments, thankful he had brought a few changes with him. For the time being, he had something else to take care of.

The boy walked quietly over to the woman who had her back turned to him, and wrapped his arms around her exposed stomach, burying his face into her back.

"Party pooper."

Lina was by Audun's side in a moment, smile wide and friendly. "Well, someone has to keep you company while everyone else goes and celebrates, eh? It doesn't do good to isolate oneself."

Her hand on his arm tried to be warm and comforting. She let it drop after a moment.

Dante walked over to the group, shaking the remnants of his meditation from his mind. "You are all all right?" he asked the students, eyes casually wandering over their bodies for a moment to make sure that they were unharmed. "You are not hurt in any way?" He paused. "You are probably hungry, though." From his pocket he produced more of the flat Elvish bread and broke it into thirds, giving two of them to Farlest and Ka'hmesh. "This may look slight, but it is better than nothing, and it is what my people use to ward off fatigue. If you are in need of it, take it.

Greg had been sleeping, and had been fine. He had been getting some… not nice sleep but okay sleep. But that changed when a rather large commotion started up. He wasn’t sure what was going on at first, as he was still semi asleep, but quite quickly he came into full wakefulness and sat up. As he scanned the area found that there was a group of people standing around. He blinked a few times and stood.

“What’s going on?”

Irame bit her bottom lip as she looked over to Herei. She was reminded of one of the Rius brothers from her home when he smiled like that, and she wasn’t quite sure if that was good or bad.

“Heru Herei, I hope you do not find me annoying, but do you have any ideas about what we might be facing?” She waved her hands slightly in front of her, helplessly. “I mean in general, as well as just with the person that we are going to be talking to.”

Dante raised an eye, giving a nod to the boys before turning away from them and towards Greg, his profile hidden by the shadow. "They came back," Dante said, smiling a little bit, a small, humorless thing that didn't quite reach his flat, neutral eyes. "Alex is with Professor Kenth."

Alex was smiling at the doctor when something decided to wrap itself around her lower body. She lowered her gaze and blinked curiously at the pair of arms around her waist, knowing immediately who it was by the sleeves that covered most of the sandy skin. Strong fingers gently pried the arms off of her body, just long enough for her to turn and face her brother, kneeling and allowing the arms to close around her shoulders and neck. She wrapped her own tawney embrace around him, allowing him to bury his face into her shoulder. They stayed like this for a few passing minutes, enough for the rest of the camp to awaken.

Slowly, the woman pulled the boy away to look him in the eye. She was quiet for a moment, before opening her mouth to speak.

"Dont." RuiZhi looked at his sister tiredly, lifting one hand to rub his eyes like a young child. He then looked upon her, his expression one of relief and discontent, frowning a little.

The woman nodded a little, swallowing roughly. He was mad at her, and rightfully so. She lifted one hand to brush a stray piece of hair from her eyes, or maybe to hide the guilt. There were four precious people here, and they were all likely going to be very upset with her.

The boy took a step back and looked over her. "You don't look hurt," he said almost grudgingly, as if he didn't want to care, as if he wanted to be angry but couldn't. "But why..." He was too tired, and the words weren't coming to him yet. Speaking in his mother tongue, RuiZhi asked, ""

"" Alex was tired too, and her Chinese wasn't quite up to snuff. It was enough to convey what she needed to. Before she could elaborate, the boy all but flung himself at her, hitting her hard in the shoulder before embracing her again.

Hearing her voice, and that she really was okay was more than RuiZhi could take at the moment. He'd been trying so hard to keep everything together, with his brother, Rylenn, his new friends Sable and Elijah, and he'd been so worried about Farlest and Ka'hmesh, he'd truly been more worried than he'd realized. The boy hit her good on the shoulder before hugging her again, not giving her a chance to retaliate.

She couldn't have done anything if she wanted to; she had deserved it, and was expecting one from Weiyuan, too. Instead, she held the small boy, grimancing a little at the impact on her bare shoulder, hearing another one of those dear to her wake up. Alex glanced over to Greg, still embracing RuiZhi, before offering a weary smile. "Hi."

Herei simply watched as everyone started to awaken, his whimsical smile still intact. His brown eyes shifted to Irame as she questioned him so tentively, causing his smile to split into a grin. "I have a theory," he said mildly, lifting his shoulders in a dismissive shrug, "but I'd rather not assume anything just yet. We may have the answers at hand." He said the last part a little loudly, hoping to draw the doctor towards him so they could speak with the man that was still waiting in the forest. He didn't think of it as being rude, but time was slipping by, and they needed all of that on their side that they could manage.

Elijah had woken much like he had the past few days and as his senses came into contact with that was happening around them he slowly realized what was going on. The boys had returned along with Alex and much to everyone's relief. A wide grin spread across his bright face as he watched from a distance as RuiZhi was reunited with his sister and could almost feel the heart warming embrace. Slowly he stood, stretching wide to pop all of the back stiffening air pockets in his back he had gained from sleeping on the hard ground, but now he felt refreshed and held a lighter spirit within him knowing the three had finally returned.

Watching as everyone started to wake up, one after another, the stranger walked to the center of all the people. He looked around, and spotted the woman he as with before, and the gray haired man beside her.

"Who is your leader?" The man asked. His voice solemn and loud, like rumbling thunders hidden deep in the sky.

Kenth looked up at the man hesitantly. So this was what Alex was talking about...The young doctor stood up. He casted a quick glance at Herei, and turned to the stranger.

"Thank you for bringing these three out of the forest." Kenth started, but paused after his first comment. Should he say that he was the leader? From what he had seen so far, Herei was the one that had been controlling the whole group...

"What business do you have with our...leader?" Kenth asked, trying to be as neutral as possible.

The cloaked man looked at Kenth for a while, and nodded. "I have a favor to ask of you."

"Me?" Kenth raised an eye-brow.

"Are you not the leader?" A sound, somewhat like a snicker, came out of the stranger. "She was the one who have consulted you first." He casted a finger at Alex, then back to the young doctor. "You do have an important place in this...group of yours."

"Heh." Kenth gave a slight shrugg. "We are not going by dictorial rule here. If you have something to say, say it to all of us." He turned around, and scanned across the filed at everyone else. "I'm sure they would like to know too."

Dante's hand went to his badge, but stopped a little bit before he touched it.

He knew that Herei and Kenthhad thrown the Shinkami emblem at the doctor, and that had gained the doctor's approval. But this was a native--and while the native could remember him, there was no telling he would.

So he let his hand drop. "I am an administrator from the school we are at," he said. "And Kenth is technically our leader. I want to hear what you have to say, though, if it concerns our party.

Lina stepped forward. "What you can say to them, you can say to us. We want to know--and it does no good to keep others in the dark."

Alex stood and turned back towards Kenth, carefully ushering RuiZhi behind her. She was tired, mostly shirtless and riled at the sudden tone the strange man took. When he pointed at her, however, she started to bristle and could feel imaginary hackles raising on her neck. She certainly hoped the man wasn't going to be rude now, not surrounded by the people she had lead him to.

"Come on now," she frowned at the man, moving closer to Kenth and crossing her arms. "What does status have to do with anything?" She was starting to become suspicious, and that made her edgy...which was never good for anyone.

Herei did not like this 'man.' Not at all. He kept his carefree smile intact as he followed Alex, lifting a hand to motion towards the doctor. "Ask your favor, if you please, for it will touch each of us no matter who it is directed at. Everyone here serves a purpose." He folded his hands together, looking for all the world as harmless and happy as could be.

Wei eyes had immediately narrowed, defenses raising, as the stranger made his appearance. The overpowering need to protect took control. Concrete eyes searched for Rui, a nod following as he found Rui safe behind Alex. His gaze changed subjects as he immediately stood near Rylenn.

His gaze was set hard. It was about damn time something happened. But he never thought it would come in the form of, hopefully, a human. He didn't like the cloak though, the urge to remove it strong.

Greg smiled at Alex, relived. He was glad that the three were back, regardless of how they had been found and who had brought them back. “All you’ve done so far has been to help us, and that’s certainly gotten my attention in a good way.” Greg said, adding in his two cents. “I’ll listen to anything that you have to ask as soon as you want to talk to us all.” He said edging over to Alex.

He looked her over, and she seemed… well ‘okay’ at least. “You alright?” He asked, even if he was interrupting her a little. After all she was important to his brother and therefore quite important overall.

Irame drew her hands closer to her and unconsciously moved closer to the nearest person to her, Herei of course as she watched the man. There wasn’t something really wrong with the man, but she didn’t really… she didn’t really like him. She really shouldn’t be rude to him for something as silly as a strange feeling in her gut, so she spoke from her new less obtrusive spot. Not before muttering ‘Maya, amin naa tualle, vara ley.' softly though.

“What, exactly, is this favor that you would request of us, heru?”

Lina turned her head to....

"ALEX!"

With as much strength as she could muster Lina barreled into the woman, a large smile on her face, taking her by the shoulders.

"Alex, you had us so worried! I'm glad you're okay but...please! Don't do that again!"
PostPosted: Thu Jul 19, 2007 5:29 pm

The man paused, looking at all the people gathering around him. Humans...they are truely curious creatures. He wasn't sure if he liked this curiousity, but from the way he was surrounded, the man didn't like this feeling..being alienated within an alien race.

Kenth looked back to the man. His eyes focused on the stranger's darkened face. "Well? We are all ears, sir."

The stranger was silent for a while, then he nodded. "very well." He turned his back on Kenth, and walked a few steps closer to the forest. Then he looked back, and as if making an announcement at no one in particular, his loud voice hang in the gloomy air about him.

"I seek help from you...to find something precious that I have lost in the forest. I know the place is dangerous, but she is very dear to me. So in returning favor, perhaps you could help me out."

“This coincides with what we were working with before, heru.” Irame said, not liking it, but drawing away from Herei. “If you where she is lost then I have a creature already out that could look ahead for us.” The blood creature that she had summoned earlier was still active, thought it had not moved since the man had first come as that required some thought, it was indeed still in existence. “It was summoned to search for the ones that you have returned to us, so it seems only proper that it be used to help you look for the one that you have lost, heru.” She offered, looking at him shyly. How was it that this one man did not worry about traveling in the forest?

Once more she waved away her wonders and forced herself to offer as much as she could to help him. After all he had done nothing but help them.
