In your face, Solens! Not only do I fail your mission to marry one princess, but I take the other for my own, and now you can't marry into the family! Victoire! 4laugh

Good stuff, and a nice enjoyable read. 3nodding

All caught up, finally~ That was quite a ride.

First, a note, before it slips my mind: I wake up twice - once in chapter 39, once in chapter 40. Was the first one supposed to be someone else?

And I do love having a good death scene, and this one - mine - was exceedingly groovy. <3

I must say, I like how the master plan was kept a secret up until the end. It certainly made Gendou - the character - seem colder than he perhaps might've otherwise, if it was just your average, run-of-the-mill "evil overlord"-plot. It all fit together quite nicely and of course, I like how all the loose ends were tied up in the epilogue. Well, all loose ends, except for one - what does Gendou need the heart for? Is that a sequel I smell? wink

All in all, it was a delight to read. The story flowed well, and there was a bit of everything in it, from romance to comedy, and including plenty of action. It's not easy at all to handle that many characters and make sure they all have a place in a story, but I think the fact that we were already familiar with the names (if not always the characters) helped a great deal. Having an avatar to associate with a name definitely helped things from getting too chaotic, which I think could've been a possibility otherwise - especially when introducing characters rapidly. But I think they were all handled quite well; all of the primary characters felt like they had separate personalities. Personally, I think smaller chapters are a good idea (as opposed to fewer, but a lot longer chapters), since it makes it a lot easier to find a place to stop (even if the "just one more chapter..."-thought is hard to avoid), if you only have a little time to read - plus, it means we don't have to wait as long for new ones. X)

A great read, overall. It can be hard to keep fantasy from getting clichéd (especially when dealing with secret princes and such), but I thought it was avoided very well.

No, it appears I actually wrote the scene twice for some reason. Odd I never caught that.
I'll have to edit it out for the edited and updated Special Edition I'll eventually be posting to DeviantArt.

And thank you for the in-depth analysis of the completed work. I really appreciate it.
