Scott was about to quip back with a smart assed response when the armor clad hunter walked up. He nodded as the other spoke. "Yeah, I heard something like that." He turned to the Scottsman and leaned in. "Name's Scott O'Connor, formerly of EKT 1 in the Supernatural Intellegence Network. I'm in town looking for a crazy mage by the name of Kel. He probobly hasnt even emerged on the sublevel yet. Figured it was best to help y'all out while I was lookin' for him."

'Well, we could definitely use the extra hands right now. Some villains don't give up... Just listen in to what the barhas to say. I have things to do, if you'll excuse me. Hunter, give the kid a five dollar tab.' Krii'Ouse said, walking back the way he came.
Hunter smiled at the rookie, and wrote his name down. 'Five dollar tab, bucko. That's all ye got.' he said, smiling.

"We always appreciate help," she said as she came up behind Krii, smiling at the new hunter. "Sorry I took so long," she said to Krii, pulling her red and black curls up into a messy bun, though several tendrils fell right back into her face, framing her face and neck. Her red eyes scanned over the new hunter briefly as hunter began the initiation. As Krii walked away, she laughed softly, "Dont let him fool you. The hunters arent that high strung all the time. And not so stingy either." She said the last part loud enough so Krii should have been able to hear her.
Extending her hand to the new comer, she gave him a fanged grin, "I'm Kerrigan, Rank blah blah blah. Pleased to meet you." She still wore that charming smile she had always given new people, even before she was turned. It was obvious that she had either accepted her vampirism completely, or she completely forgot. In truth, it was probably a little of both. Turning to Hunter, she leaned on the counter, "Can i get a drink Hunter? Im kind of thirsty." He nodded, handing her a glass of red wine. Any idiot would be able to figure out that it wasnt all wine however. The consistency was thicker than a normal wine. She would have to remember to grab some more packets from Gail later on. Her supplies were getting low. "So, where are you from?" she asked, turning back to Scott.

Krii'Ouse returned, leaning up against the bar, tapping notes on his wrist device. He seemed to be typing out messages to people. 'Damn it Will, let us know what's up, you punk.' he said to himself. He looked at Kerrigan with a frown. 'Stingy, am I?' he asked, slapping her on the tush.
'That's what you get for being a meanie.' he said with a fake sad face. He turned back to his device, and continued what he'd previously been doing. 'Where the Hell are you, brother?'

Scott sniffed the air and looked back to his drink. "All over. Raised in Arkansas, I was a cop in LA. SIN took me all around the globe. You hear about the Coven that fell in berlin last year? That was my team."

"Well, that is certainly impressive. Always glad to have someone who knows what they are doing as well." she grinned at him, jumping a bit when Krii patted her behind, though that was all.
"Well, currently we have a missing hunter in the hands of a known psycopath names Mauser. As is this werent problem enough, the hunter in questions happens to be the wife of the head honcho and ready to have his kid any day now. SO, you can see why this is a problem. We would love for you to join us. We are heading to a few spots to see find out about any new updates are on the situation."
She glanced back at Krii as if to say 'and if you arent leaving then I am'. She hated the idea of Lydia being out there in the hands of Mauser and them being safve in Haven. Plus, she was itching for some hunting. As sadistic as it sounded, she had not killed anything in days, and she was thirsting for it. It might have been blood lust from her vampire side, but she didnt care. The point was that she hated feeling helpless and so it was time for everyone to get their asses in gear and go find Lydia.

'To the Krii'Vette!' Krii'Ouse said, sweeping Kerrigan off her feet, and walking out of Hunter's with her in his arms. 'See you around the neighbourhood.' he called back to the rookie.
Krii'Ouse walked across the street to the garage, and put Kerrigan down in the passanger seat telekinetically, while he slid into the driver's seat. Buckling them both up kinetically, he started the car. Actually, it had started before they were buckled, but that's regardless.
Off they sped, through the streets of New York. It was time to save his sister-in-law.

Scott sighed and scratched the back of his neck as the two others left. He reached in his wallet and pulled out a bill. "Hey Hunter, put a hundred on my tab will ya?" He left the $100 bill on the bar and left without actually drinking any of his coke. He pushed on athrough the door and stopped to take a breath of cold night air. "God I miss my bike." He muttered to himself. He rolled back his shoulders and walked on into the city.

Skiaska cursed quickly as her watch beeped, letting her know HIN had sent her a message. Reading it over, she paled and ran to her room to change.

Skiaska wiped her tears away and discarded her weapons behind the counter. Grabbing a botlle of tequila and a shot glass, she sat down. Screw the twelve step program! She ignored the two beeps her watch gave to let her know someone sent her a message. Booze first, people later. Taking a shot, Ski pondered if she had over-reacted.

Krii'Ouse walked out of the closet, and into the crowd. Passing them all, he headed straight for Hunter. 'Bacardi Razz, Hunter.' he requested.
'Something troublin' ya, boyo?' Hunter asked, pulling down a bottle of Razz.
'The whole thing.' Krii'Ouse seemed to ignore the question.
''Ey now, you seriously that upset?' Hunter responded.
'Yes. Please, give me the bottle.' Sethe pleaded. 'I just... I just need something to displace my thoughts.'
'A'right, boyo. Here ye go.' Hunter handed Sethe the bottle, who promptly corked it, and started to drink. 'So, wot's wrong, bucko?'
'Just...' Krii'Ouse took a swig, 'A lot.' Sethe wiped his mouth, and hung his head. 'Not really a lot, just one thing, but it's a lot to me. It's really got me in the chest.'

Skiaska turned her gaze to the upset Hunter only three seats down from her. Biting her tequila flavored lip, she moved a seat down. She still found a friend in Krii'Ouse, but she didn't think they were still on the same frequency to talk openly about problems. Piping up, she looked at Hunter. "A bottle of water and another bottle of..."
Since Ski had just downed a fourth of a bottle of strong liqour, she sighed. "Give me a bottle of Bailey's, if you have it." Hunter opened his mouth, but she interuppted. "I don't much give a damn about that promise I made you make me. I have a problem. Get over it." When Hunter didn't move, she settled for the last shot she had. Now looking at krii'Ouse, she sighed again. "Want to talk about it?"

'I... I don't know, Skiaska...' the Lycan replied. 'I just... It's not fair...' He put his head on the counter. He'd gone to his room and changed prior to coming up, and was now in his dancing outfit. Leather pants, leather boots, latex shirt, and fingerless gloves. He had his mantle and cowl on, as always. His shades hid the glowing of his eyes from the public, and his right arm was gloved with latex, his left only down to under his brand.
'It's just not fair...' He began to sob.

Skiaska felt her heart clench and her stomach twist when the first sob reached her ears. it hurt, like being stabbed. She briefly remembered doing this with the lycan children, her mother, Lydia, and even Solaer. Moving down the other seats quickly. She hesitantly wrapped her arms around his form. An instinct kicked in, making her body move on it's own. Is this what they call maternal instinct? Not bothering to think about it, Ski just... hugged him and stayed silent.
She may not know what was wrong, but she wouldn't let anything happen to her family. God, where AM I? Why can I never seem to be there for people... Why can't I prevent this... PAIN? Lydia, Rhiona, Solaer, Jasmine, Will, even... Myself. "...Everything will be alright, in the end, Krii..." Ski briefly looked at him. He was like a brother... Yet like a child... She wanted to protect him... He was probably right... Myabe I just misinterpreted my feelings for him before. Little brother...
