Maranara Number_09 I can only reliably hit a G above the staff without having to a) force it until it's paper thin; and b) play up to it. How many years have you been playing? This is my 4th year.

I don't even know what type of trumpet I have, it's horrible though.
As for a mouth piece, i have a Blessing 5c

im weird. ive gone through 3 or 4 trumpets from 6th grade. and im a freshie. is that good or bad...? o.O
oh god, when did i first pick up the trumpet.... i think i was nine when i started 6th grade.... so yeah. 9 yrs old. ive been playing for.... 4 years now? ah oh well.

I started playing trumpet in grade 8, I'm now in grade 11.

Yea, Im in 8th now, started in 5th, I had private lesons from 6th to 7th, stopped over the summer since my band teacher told me to switch to the highschol band instructor (also does private lessons) and my mom just now e-mailed him and i think all the spots are filled...Oh well, even without lessons, I got first chair in my schools band mrgreen

I've been playing since my 8th grade year. I'm now a sophmore in high school. I'm better than some people who have been playing longer than I have. I currently have a Yamaha Allegro, a King, and a Simba. My first horn was another King better than the one I have now. stare

kingbored Si! I got first chair in my school band, Me and another 8th grader beat ou ALL the 9th graders...and the crapy 8th graders mrgreen bored, first of all you copied my name if that wasnt enough. but then you had to go and beat the S#%T out of my pride. You know as well as I do that Condne favors you. And by all rights reserved (had to say it xd ) u know i deserved the 1st part on Hartland Overture, if not on Double Eagle. And you know as well as I know that Brandon is 1000 times better than you. AND you are letting Fogles Headstrongness to get to you. You are undoutably really good, definetly ONE of the best in our band, but not the best. Condne favors you. Thats the ONLY reason thatv you got first over Arther and Brandon.

I am a trumpet in teh Clackamas high school band...and I hate freshman who think they are better then you since they are in a higher chair. the reason why iI am in a lower chair is that I don't really care for being a first trumpet. It's usually the second trumpets who get the cool parts anyway.
