"Nah. He's just getting butt-hurt after I called out his pathetic leader. Like that." Michi said deflecting Ken's sword at the last second after sensing Emma's soul appearance then quickly started to run as the shards was coming from behind barely dodging certain death but got impale in the side left leg. It's only a matter of seconds before Herald shows his freaking self up. After that issue in the past, let's just hope Atticus won't go to the edge and not lose that soul wavelength because he lost his focus.

I used to be afraid of cluttered noises ╔═.❀.═════════════════════════════════════════════╗ ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════.❀.═╝ Now I’m afraid of silence ▬ ▬ ▬ Shira was caught off guard as her appeared behind her, she quickly used her skates to push herself away, barely missing what could have been a life ending hit. While flying through the air, she unleashed rapid shots towards any areas in Goliath's armor that seemed week before flying upward, she needed to be really careful of this opponent or she would die there. ▬ ▬ ▬

Never Again...The portal linking Herald and Emma's realm to Death City widened slightly as Herald stepped through it. It quickly slammed shut behind him, closing off the route to their domain. "We're late," he growled disapprovingly. "Tell Mirai not to take so long next time. She's enough of a pain as it is." He looked back and forth between Ken and Goliath. He wanted the big one. Without further ado he launched himself forward as Shira retaliated towards the massive knight with her shots. He came towards Goliath from the side so as not to get in the path of Shira's bullets in case Goliath dodged her attack. "I'LL RIP YOU TO SHREDS!!" He roared. "Beast Slash!" A blue wave of claw-shaped energy rushed towards Goliath ahead of Herald, followed quickly by his claws that were poised to tear into his armor. Will I be bound in chains

☽ "It was more our fault than Mirai's and you know that..." Emma muttered when she heard Herald before focusing on Ken. She quickly put up a barrier around herself and Michi even though she already took a couple of hits. Mirai quickly used the link she created to heal Michi's injuries enough for her to continue fighting. Emma adjusted the bands on her wrist "Wow... you really pissed him off..." she muttered. The daggers that were spread out around the battlefield began glowing and seemed to spark with electricity. Suddenly, sparks flew in the air almost like a conductor and came towards Ken, aiming to shock him with Emma's own wavelength as well as possibly shatter some of the crystals since the daggers were now active and creating a constant current of energy. ☾

 He who dares__________________________Eric arrived on the battlefield looking down at it from above, a concerned expression on his face. He had stayed behind for a short time as he and Dara tried to decide whether or not she was well enough to fight. She had been sick for a while now and Eric was worried. Despite Dara's protests, Eric had convinced her to stay at the refugee camp and rest. He knew without Dara Eric was at a significant disadvantage, but he was still strong on his own and he could certainly put up a fight. He noted that Herald had arrived before him and was already on the attack, not that he was surprised. Being isolated in their own realm, it would have been hard for Emma and Herald to get word of the battle though. He paused for a moment as he thought. He knew Herald. Herald wouldn't have let anyone enter his realm. Then had he or Emma gone to the refugee camp to figure out when the attack was? No, it would have had to have been recently and Eric would have sensed them. The only other option was some magical means, the most likely of them being a telepathic message. That narrowed it down; Mirai was the only one there with telepathy so she must have sent them a message. Well, sent Emma a message, she'd probably rather tell Emma and let her pass it on to Herald than tell him directly for obvious reasons. He was shaken out of his thoughts when he sensed another presence next to him. Miles Libertatis Eric looked over at Miles who stood silently next to him. Miles was suspicious and Herald didn't like that, but he couldn't bring himself to dislike Miles for some reason, though he had no idea why not. "I hope you don't mind that I'm here," Miles said to Eric, not looking over at him. "No, please, feel free to join in. The more the merrier and all that." Miles looked down at the battle, his attention quickly focusing on Herald. Eric followed his gaze and gave a slight grin. "A kishin. Pretty ill-tempered. He's a friend of mine. It's complicated." Miles nodded. "Yes, Shira explained that situation to me as best she could. It sounds complicated for sure." Eric bit his lip in thought. Wait...Shira had told him everything? Why? Shira usually just didn't volunteer information like that. Miles would have had to somehow gotten her on the topic. That meant he had been talking about Eric with Shira. He narrowed his eyes in annoyance. Great. What had she told him? And why did his relationship to Herald come up in the conversation? And why even bother asking? "Something wrong?" Miles asked as he finally looked over at Eric. "Nah, just trying to decide who we should attack first. Don't want to get in Herald's way." He glanced over at Miles as he waited for his reply. "Yes, his violent temper would make us as much of a target as that giant knight is," Miles said finally. Eric kept a neutral expression but inside he was more annoyed than before. Going in-depth about Herald's character? Why would Shira tell him things like that? He decided to try and probe a bit deeper. "Yeah, well his training was the kind to bring that side of him out, don't you think?" Miles was about to reply when he realized what Eric was doing and abruptly closed his mouth. Crap! He hated it when Eric, or Matt, did that. He had gotten a little better at catching him in the act when they were kids, but he wasn't as prone to subterfuge as Eric was and generally preferred to putting his cards on the table in a fair way. Miles just decided to give a shrug in response. "Depends on the training," he said finally. Eric looked back to the battle. No point probing any deeper, Miles had suddenly clammed up. He might have realized what Eric was trying to do. Oh well. There were more important things to do and he could always chat up Miles later. "The black knight then. Let's get to it," Eric said as he let himself begin to fall towards the battlefield shortly followed by Miles. The two came towards Ken from above, falling in amongst the sparks that Emma had sent towards Ken, both aiming to land kicks on different areas of his body at the same time the sparks hit him. WINS

  The more Michi talked ill of Divine, the more Ken became unstable, but his powers did not decrease because of this. Actually, it got stronger and stronger, however, his armor began cracking with red energy beginning to pour out from them. Obviously, something inside the armor was beginning to emerge, but there is no telling what it was. Ken was then struck by Emma's electrical attack, taking the damage head on, Ken suffered from the surge pulsing through his body, but that was not enough to bring him down.
Just as the sparks hit him, Ken would also be struck by two blows, one to the side of his helmet and the second right on his back. Eric and Miles' kicks landing perfectly on the Knight, however their strength was nowhere near the level it would take to damage him. Needing to distance himself from the two males, caused his body to vanish within the crystals below him, reappearing behind the both Eric and Miles. Ken swung both his swords, releasing an 'X' shaped blast of red energy right at her and Michi. Afterwards, he would stomp his foot on the ground, causing massive pillar-like crystals to emerge from the ground, he was attempting to seal the entire group within it. As though that wasn't enough, Ken's attention went right back to Emma and Michi, he would launch an similar shaped attack like before, right at them.
As Goliath's punch had just barely missed its mark, his fist would hit the pavement and crystals below him, completely destroying them. This would also create a massive crater underneath the Knight. Once Shira went into the sky and started shooting off more bullets at him, Goliath's sword would appear before him, blocking the bullets completely. At the same time, Herald would finally make his grand debut, initiated a rather powerful claw-shaped energy attack at Goliath. Looking towards Herald, Goliath laughed and released a surge of electricity towards his attack. Causing it to disrupt the energy and completely nullify it. Leaving only Harold and his claws to deal with.
Holding up his massive hands, Goliath would easily block Herald's claws, like they were nothing. This would end up having the two locked in a hold against the other. "It is a pleasure seeing you again, mutt. I see that you've grown stronger." Goliath commented. While Goliath and Herald went at it, Atticus' soul wavelength began to fluctuate as the madness in him started taking over. This was all a result of Herald's appearance as well as the remark he made about Mirai. While not saying anything, Atticus' feelings were clearly known to those who could sense his soul. He wanted to rip Herald apart, the only thing on his mind at the moment, was killing Herald, nothing else mattered. As a result of this, their soul resonance began to weaken, if nothing was done, he and Shira would no longer be able to remain in that form.

Mannequin Soul [OOC:] Here they come ~ [OOC:] Madness, Madness, Madness, Madness, Madness The mannequins sat idly by as they watched Ken fight. It's not that they were stupid, they were just relaying the fight back to their real master. As Ken released more and more madness wavelength the monstrosities began to shuffle in place, the madness energy causing their kishin hearts to begin vibrating with energy. The spoiled flesh that adorned their bodies began to wriggle and bubble, the madness wavelength causing the dead flesh to undergo a mutation. The soft squishy hide turned leathery as the skin began to tendril and solidify into hard connective armor like skin. The mannequins grew in size as well, gaining almost a foot or two until they stood tall at almost 7 feet.
They kept their distance from the fight until Goliath appeared, sending more madness into the area. Not being able to withstand any longer the mannequins screeched horridly and entered the battle. The disappeared in a blue, much different than the slow moving pace that they used to have minutes ago. It seemed the madness enhanced their bodies to a new frightening level. One of the mannequins appeared above Shira. With hands already raised the beast roared as he brought the bear sized firsts down in a hammer fashion, attempting to plummet the girl back to the ground. The other two sped along the ground, kicking up dirt as their massive feet pounded the ground. Their bodies moved like arrows, quick and fluent and in less than a few seconds they had closed the gap between them and the students.
One appeared near Michi and Emma , barreling at them as he thrust a huge swipe of his first, knowing quite well that the impaled leg would slow her movement. At the speed the mannequin was going it could potentially break the barrier if it wasn't reinforced. As he swung at her he leaned into the swing, so that if the barrier blocked the attack it would move the barrier towards the giant X of energy coming at it. As this happened the third mannequin launched itself off the ground like a ricochet bullet, moving at a direct path to intercept Eric and Miles. The mannequin spread its arm wide as it attempted the clothesline the two and bring them head first into the dirt.

Winching from that sudden pain that hit, Michi just pulled the shard out of her leg, using the sword to regain her balance."Damn cheap shot move..." She mutters to herself, stretching the leg out like it was nothing but, to be honest, it stings. Badly. When Emma started healing the wound, she just re-stretch out her leg feeling much better. "Somehow, he's getting stronger when I start badmouthing him so.. yeah, he's pissed. However, it's true about his leader plus it's been a long time since we last seen this guy. She whispers lowly back before pulling the sword out of the ground. Michi quickly moves Emma and herself away from the X shaped blast and the mannequin's attack which it stood 7 feet tall - glazing over to a big rock she first sets the rock ablaze then kicks it straight up into the air until it disappeared just like the last time she's gonna wait for a right time before unleashing it. "Another enemy here to wipe the floor with.." So, she then launches out a barrage of shards attempting to slow down the kishin while aiming at Ken's arms.

☽ Emma was about to react to the attack but Michi did that for her. She glanced towards the new enemy that was there, the electric current that was still active quickly launched at the mannequin. A huge tail made of flames appeared behind her and swung towards Ken at the same time. ☾

If you don't get a grip, I won't be able to fight back using you and I will die here." she warned him "Ignore him." she said before sensing the kishin above her. She ended up taking the full brunt and was slammed downward and into the ground. She laid there for a moment before tightening her grip around the pistols and getting up "Dammit..." she hissed before standing. "That is annoying..." butterflies began appearing around Shira and they launched at the mannequin like bullets while Shira recovered from the blow. ▬ ▬ ▬

With eyes darting across the battlefield, a portal opened to reveal Emma and Herald. So they're hear too? Right then... He dashed about the area before noticing more and more wavelengths appearing. He took special notice toward Eric and another meister as the were targeted by some grotesque creature that appeared in a group with others scattering about the battle field. With a swift turn, he raced toward Eric's location. Damn freak! Blake skidded on his heels as he sent the creature flying with fierce strike. Its been a while, Eric. He said as he eyed Goliath fighting Herald. I'll let you two take care of this one. - Max - Meister If life is as short as you say it is... ---------------------------------- Max felt the crystals coming from the ground, with no hesitation quickly smashed through them. An attack like that won't stop me one bit. He pointed his fingers like a make-shift gun, with small smirk Max violently launched multiple shots Ken.

 "Whether it may be Demon, Shinigami, or Human..." While several members attacked the two knights, black bars seemed to shoot up out of nowhere and trap both knights as well as taking the attacks. A black hole appeared and, seconds later, Noira floated up from it and stood before the group "Hello my weaklings..." she said. It was unknown as to why she was there. "All will bow down before me in the end." ((SOD is busy and won't be posting until friday or saturday so Noira will keep everyone occupied till then. ))

Mannequin Soul [OOC:] [OOC:] Madness, Madness, Madness, Madness, Madness The first mannequin that attacked Michi and Emma was evaded by the pair as they both retreated a distance form the behemoth. The pair then unleashed a combo assault at the kishin, which didn't elicit much of a response from the beast. As the shards from Michi rained forward the mannequin lifted its colossal left arm, using it as a shield as the barrage of shards embedded itself into the tough, leathery hide of the mannequin. As this happened the electric current surged up through the beasts feet and into it's body. The beast grunted and furiously began to thrash around. The dead tissue that comprised as the souls husk began to thrive and come back to life as the electricity jolted through it. Because of this a mutation started to occur. Small centimeter thick tendrils escaped the small holes in the stitching of the beasts back and upper arms. These tendril wriggled out until they thrashed back and forth around the beast like flails. The beats then roared as it reach down and picked up a massive boulder, hurling it right at Emma as she struck at Ken. Without warning the mannequin turned the other direction and began charging at Michi, the snake like tendrils shooting forward ahead of the beast, attempting to catch her and hold her until he could reach Michi and strike her down.
At the same time second mannequin was having much more luck. He had connected hard with Shira, sending her plummeting to the ground. Once she hit the ground the mannequin wasted no time in his decent. A roar escaped the beasts mouth as he plummeted towards Shira. She responded by sending strange butterfly like shots at the kishin, which pierced his armor like hide but only centimeters deep, leaving them stuck, protruding out of his skin like splinters. The behemoth raised both arms, shielding his chest from the shots as he planned to impact the ground with full force, crushing Shira in the process if she did not move.
The last of the mannequins was met with a swift counter strike, however it did not send the hulking mannequin far as his thick body was harder to move than a normal humans. The mannequin landed on his feet clenching his fists as he screeched. His bear sized hands opened up and mutated slightly as the tips of his thick hands came to razor points, hardened by the thick sinews of flesh that coated it. He then leaned down like an Olympic runner, and then with a crushing sound he launched form the ground, creating small craters in the ground where his feet once were. He barred his pointed teeth as he raised a clawed hand at Blake, attempting to behead the student in one slash.

He who dares__________________________Miles Libertatis Miles and Eric managed to back out of range of the crystals that Ken produced. They were just about to launch a counter-attack when black bars suddenly appeared, effectively cutting off the two from their opponents. They turned when they herad Noira. "What? Oh, hey." Eric said to Noira, returning her greeting. "What's up? Did you need something?" Miles frowned as he studied Noira. He hadn't seen her before, but he had heard of her. She was the leader of the Blackwings and would definitely be a powerful opponent. The other beasts who were fighting seemed focused on the other members of the team who were present so the two boys focused their attention on Noira. "Where is Divine, Lady Noira?" Miles asked sternly but politely. "Our business is with him."
