Mindlessly chasing a bird around was definitely a good idea.
Absolutely. There was no way this could go wrong.
Because she had had such success with the little blue jay the first time, Belladonna decided chasing Chipper was best. Obviously she had forgotten how difficult he had been, but she felt more kindly toward him mostly because he had listened to her the best.
Mostly.
Naturally, the bird caught sight of the witch and flew as far away as possible. Rather quickly too.
The witch narrowed her eyes at the bird. This was not going to go well.

With a slow motion, Belladonna laid of her arm and opened her hand in the direction of Chipper. She didn't anything. She only looked at him in a meaningful manner.
He flew farther away.
