((Roll for an event))

Thus, they would enter the area that the Tympole had promised. A place of green and of life, but the air that hung there seemed filled with something else a darkness that seemed almost unaccounted for. The ground itself through green seemed to be black underneath ...here was a good place to bury the Vullaby, but was that all that could be found there?

It was a huge question as she stood on the borders of the center of the island ...a place where the beyond seemed to be nothing. A votex of water spun and dove deeper into the water ...if one dared they could simply leap into the center of that pit and see where it would take them. What lands are there to be found in the very heart of the island.

::Jasmine shivered, looking around and surveying the land, it was green enough at least as she looked at the surroundings, it was green, but even she could feel there was something strange about this place, something eery and unsettling... but she looked to Claudandas first:: ...What do you think?

::The Purrloin stood there, breathing deep the dark air, he could feel the Aura, this place... it seemed like his guess was right... the realm of Spiritomb, he looked to Jasmine, indeed, this was the best place to bury the Vullaby, he nodded slowly::

::Jasmine only sighed, perhaps she'd take her time with it, but she'd lay the Vullaby down, looking to the ground as she'd look to find out how easily she could go through the ground, she wasn't sure how deep this earth was, considering the stones path on the way here, and that swirling water lapping against the shores, this was indeed a very strange place... but she placed that aside, she could search around this area before heading onward, but right now, she had to do this:: I'll try to be quick... just rest again while you can, alright?

::But that was one thing Claudandas wouldn't do, standing there, on edge, the darkness all around, he knew they weren't alone, at least they wouldn't be for long if they stood around!::

The ground here was indeed soft ...as if someone had already dug and turned up the earth many times before hand. The girl would find plenty of places to bury her in the earth, but there in the midst of the island was a single strange stone.

It pulse with heat and darkness ...as something would start to stir from it. A thick dark cloud ...as it seemed that they guess whom this island belonged to, but then again...just because this island belonged to him ...it didn't mean that that would be the pokemon that would rise. For the darkness was home to more than just a Spiritomb ....as the smoke would rise and from ....and indeed a the Spiritomb they had been expecting would appear. The pokemon was well aware of the type of pressure she had been putting on this place ...as she moves slowly towards the girl. She also was well aware that the cat's luck seem to stem from the human at his side ...she would have to change that ...as her body curled around Jasmine's outstretched shadow.

It was a simple curse to lay as her claws reaches out and grabs it. Binding her to the earth ...the girl if she didn't somehow break the pokemon's hold would find herself suddenly too heavy to move. Her body would go limply to the ground as the Spiritomb made her first move.

::Jasmine had spent time indeed at work, where now lay a simple mound of earth, she'd laid rocks upon it, marking it with a single coin, she clapped her hands, waiting until she'd had long enough to prey herself, looking upon the grave once more:: Rest now to rise again.

::Claudandas had sat aside her, but now, his ears tilted and he looked around, he could see the darkness and he cried out a loud and plentiful hiss!::

Clau- ::She looked up, stopping, when she saw the shadow reaching out for her, the girl tried to push herself, roll out of the way with no way to evade fast upon her feet!::

::And in her place, resistant to the shadows, Claudandas leapot forward, hissing aloud, fur on end:: [If you have a grievance, speak aloud to us, don't strike from the shadows!]

What Victoria would hear next would come as somewhat unexpected, despite her surroundings. It was snoring, distinct from the other's in the fact that is was lighter in tone, and feminine in nature. Certainly none of the Sneasel currently surrounding the child looked to be female.

A soft crunch came from the young trainers right, the sound of heavy steps making their way across the crater floor, strewn with small rocks and fallen thorns. The sight that would greet the girl would likely be the most unexpected of all however; half soaked, sprinkled in dirt, and with a twig in his hair he'd failed to notice, the boy looked every bit as one would expect of someone whom went sailing off the edge of the crater. Except he was still alive.

If not Victoria, Raven at least would be quite surprised. Between this girl and the Sneasel on his back, this was likely the most contact he'd had with the opposing gender in YEARS.

Then he took notice of the other inhabitants of the area. A number of sleeping Sneasel...would they noticed if another just happened to join their number?

He looked over his shoulder to the Sneasel on his back. No, such an idea was foolish. They were Sneasel yes, but given the distance from where they'd started off, likely not of the same pack. It wasn't uncommon for more then one group of such creatures to inhabit such varied terrain. Various terrible things could happen if he simply left her in their midst....besides, he'd likely need a crowbar to pry her off.

Though...that didn't solve his other problem. Raven looked back to Victoria, raising his right eyebrow in a slightly questioning manner. He wasn't quite sure what else to say or do in this situation...

Off to the side, one of the drunken Sneasel abruptly rolled over.

((Which meant that your best course of action is to run away))

It was a horrible mistake as the bindings would wrap around the cat in her stead. His shadow now in place of hers would be bound to the ground as he appeared above him. There would be no running away, no getting away as it seemed to hold him steady for a moment but slowly it would loosen and fall away. The intended target wasn't him ...not him at all as the Spiritomb's eyes would shift to that of the Purrloin.

He had stood between him and the human ...it was her he wished to bury but now it would be him. He would die in the human's place ...that was his determination as he made it clear that the was going to be the one the Purrloin was to battle.

The Lunatone's eyes flashed purple briefly, then returned to their usual red. ">Not speaking the whole truth if often the same as lying child<" The voice seemed to boom in her head, yet somehow retained it's calm tone. It had simply gotten louder. ">Your memories speak of more to your intentions...though often memories lack the words that accompany them<" The guardian said calmly, eye still upon the girl ">I ask again, why have you come here?<"

Victoria did know what to say ....as she saw him come into the clearing. She was sure she had left him behind pointing his sword at her back ...so to speak. Why was he following her so doggedly ...her eyes fell upon the sight of the snore ...the female Sneasel. Then she looked around her and sighed. Of course, she had somehow stepped upon the one place he would have to go, but he doubt this was her pack. The group around her looked to be male, and the fact that they were in a drunken heap didn't exactly make her feel comfort of them as good guardians either.

Though she didn't voice any of those observations ...she simply declares to him.

"Stalker." "Why are you following me?" "No scratch that ...why in the name of all that is good and holy is your path destiny to cross mine?"

She declares sharply.

The girl didn't really seem too surprised as the Lunatone told her that she hadn't said all of her intentions which was true. The girl didn't know exactly how the pokemon would act knowing that she had also been sent her to capture and add another pokemon. Most of the pokemon on the island didn't seem to have a very good opinion on the trainers that did come. She couldn't blame them, but it had to happen often since there were a lot of students at the academy. Besides some of the pokemon probably enjoyed a chance to get off the island and explore the world a little more. "I've also come to add another pokemon to my team." she remarked honestly.

((Hehehehe. I laughed. xd ))

((But worse yet...she uttered...the D-WORD!))

Raven scowled the moment one word in particular left the girl's mouth. One of the words he hated most in this world. Destiny. "There is no such thing as Fate or Destiny...they are nothing more then words used by people to explain that which they don't wish to" Raven spoke harshly, spitting upon the crater floor...though he was careful to avoid any of the surrounding Sneasel.

"This meeting is no more then coincidence...sided with the results of the shortest route into the crater" The boy spoke in a slightly duller voice on the mention of the second part, shuddering slightly. That was not a path he wished to repeat any time soon. He'd been too caught up in trying to obtain the PokeBall to realize how truly insane his actions were...

The youth eyed the other Sneasel faintly "...but perhaps we should speak elsewhere. I very much doubt you wish to wake any of them..." He tilted his head to indicate the passed out collection of Pokemon "...any more then I."

For a time the Lunatone remained rather silent, watching the child closely. It's eye pulsed with psychic power as it's stare seemed to burrowing into her. In a way, it seemed as if the Lunatone was searching for something in the child. At last, the moon shaped Pokemon shifted ">Perhaps I can help you...if you manage to pass my three tests...<" The Pokemon intoned...and suddenly the sands again began to shift and swirl.

Powerful winds began to blow all around the alter, pushing the sand up and along the dunes to reveal something more. The Alter did not stand alone, but rather as the peak of an entire temple hidden beneath the desert. as the gale winds died, Riku would spot a small darkened entrance into this section of the hidden temple. ">Enter...if you dare.<" The Lunatone called out, before once again sinking beneath the sands of the alter.

((Well ...well...an interesting roll. To be fair, I guess I should roll as well to see what event this shall carry))

"So, in that entire sentence the word that ticks you off is destiny ...not stalker."

Victoria declares lightly as she took in their surrounding. He was right, this wasn't the best place to be at the moment ...and their conversation and a brain that was muddy wouldn't mix well.

"You are truly pathetic."

She turned to walk out of the heap of bodies. One foot carefully over the other ...as she sought a way out ...anyway out that was better than what they are facing.

"Listen, I asked you before, but let me ask you again ...how many pokemon do you have?"

The girl asks with each step she took out of the crowd.

It wasn't probably the best idea to follow after the Lunatone, but the girl was really never one to back down from a challenge. It would be an unforgettable experience most likely. She looked at her Larvitar, even though she could tell by the returned look that he disapproved. After all, she had already been injured pretty badly by another pokemon the last time she had been here on the island, judging by the cast on her leg. However that was without Ryuu to protect. This time, she'd be okay hopefully. A determined look sparking her gaze, she began to enter through the dark opening to whatever fate awaited her.

((One low, one high...I'm intrigued as to how this might effect things.))

"Yes" Raven answered remark in a simple, blunt manner. He didn't think she truly cared for an answer, but at times it was best to clarify these things. Destiny was a word he did not believe in. It was merely an excuse. An unwillingness to accepted the path one had traveled down.

The youth ignored the comment about being pathetic. This girl had no grounds on which to make such a comment, and so it held no power. Simply spewing words did not give them meaning.

As Victoria turned to leave, Raven began to follow. Best that they both take the same path out of this place rather then searching for separate routes, and rusk that one of them might accidentally awaken a Sneasel.

"If you mean literally the answer would be four, counting this little one..." Raven spoke calmly, rolling his shoulder a moment so the Sneasel on his back was more visible from the front "...however if you mean my partners, the answer would be three."

The young trainer quirked a brow then "...And you?" It was only fair after all. She knew how many he carried, but she had yet to reveal those amongst her own. Though he supposed at least one could be clearly seen...the Emolga perched upon her was a distinctly difficult sight to miss.

((Yeah, wondering that with that last description there, lol))

::Claudandas hissed away, he was stuck in a rock and a hard place, literally if you considered the Spiritomb anatomy, perhaps the one thing that scared him most about this, not the strength of the beast, but the fact it was silent::

::It was damnably unsettling, to have the thing stalking above him, but he Growled his distaste at the Spiritomb::

[I don't imagine you some brainless beast... if you have words, then speak, tell us what you want, Spirit!]

::Jasmine looked back and forth from where she had landed, the Spiritomb was a massive pokémon compared to the ones they had faced so far... a pokémon like that, a ghost type and a dark type together...::

::She would have loved a shot at the pokémon, but she had no idea what she would do...::

::For now, she waited, gathering herself up, waiting as she saw Claudandas speaking, for now, it was his words that mattered, not hers!::
