Leafra had walked on to campus trying to find out where her classes were. She found herself in the garden. It was so beautiful and she loved the roses especially. She smiled as she picked one.

Approachingthe gardens from the west end, the blonde man chose to wander about randomly. While normally he enjoyed smoking on his strolls, he knew better than to do such so openly on school grounds. Even if the cigarettes he smoked had no tobacco, it still was not something he would bring around the sometimes very young students. Walking past the various lillies, he walked deeper into the gardens. After a few minutes of aimlessly wandering, his eyes fell on a blonde lady near the roses. An amused smile spread across his lips as he watched her pick one, and he shook his head. "You aren't supposed to pick those, you know." he was only a few yards away at that point, but his voice carried easily.

Leafra heard someone telling her not to pick the flowers from all the way across the ground from her. She looked up to see how said that and saw a man older than her coming up to her. "I am sorry I did not know I can fix it." She put the rose back and began to reattach it it to the bush using her powers.

Amused,the blonde waved a hand at her. "No, it's fine. I don't think the gardeners will notice a missing flower here and there. I just wouldn't recommend making a whole bouquet." he paused a moment to consider, stopping when he was a few feet away from her. "Or if you do, take a flower from here and there from all over. It's best to hide your tracks, you know?" one hand found their way to his pocket, and he stood casually as if he had all the time in the world. He raised a hand to adjust his glasses, glancing briefly about the gardens. It was a nice day out, and the gardens were fairly empty. He had no where to be, and so he chose to speak to the girl instead. His eyes fell back on her, patient and amused.

"Normally I don't do things like this. It's just I like roses." Leafra held out her hand and out of no where a light formed in her hand and then quickly disappeared and in it's place was a single rose. She brused her hair behind her pointed ears.

Acceptingthis answer with a small nod, the griffen could see why. Roses were nice, and while they weren't his favorite flower, he saw the merit in them. Personally, he preferred lilies. "Well, I won't tell." he promised, his other hand moving to his pocket. "I'm Solomon, by the the way. Solomon Griffith." he smiled at her, introducing himself politely. "But you can call me Solo." he added quickly, cutting his very long name down to a simple four letter word. He was hoping that the girl would introduce herself in turn, but he didn't push for it.

"I'm Leafra, Leafra Goldenleaf." Leafra did not want to give her nick names only because she was royalty and was not sure if Solo would treate her any differently any normal person if there was anyone really normal.

Thatwas a slightly odd name, but between her pointy ears and the name, he could tell that she was an elf. And so, he didn't feel the need to comment or ask. "It's a pleasure to meet you." he responded politely, knowing better than to be too informal with someone he had just met. "What brings you here, Leafra? If you don't mind my asking, of course." he didn't want to be too intrusive, but he was curious as to what would bring her to the gardens of all places at that time of day.

"I got lost was trying to find my classes and I ended up here." Leafr a looked down a little embarrassed that she had gotten lost. "Do you know what time it is so I can try to figure out what class I should be in."

Notingher embarrassment, the older student smiled gently. "Classes haven't started back up yet, but it's about..." he paused long enough to raise his wrist, taking a look at his watch, "one in the afternoon." he finished, allowing his arm to drop to his side once more. "If you're lost, I could escort you somewhere? I've been here at Reed's for five years now." he was attending college there, as he had grown very fond of the campus and staff. He was actually waiting on a diploma from his online college before applying for a job there at Reed's, and he was hoping that it would end well.

Nodding at this, the blonde takes a moment to think. "I wouldn't worry about it. A bunch of us haven't exactly had the easiest of lives, but it gets better." he reassured her, having met a few people who were hiding at the school during his time there. "Anyway, I would suggest starting by getting assigned a dorm. You have to go to the front desk in the dormitory. Have you done that yet?" he asked, figuring it would be easiest to start at the basics. A dorm was important, as it was where one lived for however long they attended the school, though he did know of a girl who didn't live on campus and a few that lived in slightly unorthodox arrangements on campus.

Leafra shook her head about the dorms. "Were anyone running for their lives because a relative wants them dead?" She looked down. She figured she was going to need to tell someone that her brother was trying to kill because she was rightful heir to the throne of her people.
